FX has set premiere dates for three series. Season four of The Bear will premiere on hulu June 25 with all ten episodes. Alien: Earth will premiere August 12 on hulu and FX. A new episode of the 8-episode season will premiere each following Tuesday on Hulu beginning at 8 p.m. ET and on FX at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The Lowdown premieres September 23 on FX. Season four of The Bear finds Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich pushing forward, determined not only to survive, but also to take The Bear to the next level. With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust and overcome. This season, the pursuit of excellence isn’t just about getting better – it’s about deciding what’s worth holding on to. In Alien: Earth, in the year 2120, the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans. But the game is changed when the wunderkind Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named “Wendy” marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship collides into Prodigy City, “Wendy” and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined. In The Lowdown Lee lives and works in a rare bookstore tucked in the heart of Tulsa – a local refuge and unofficial community hub. While Lee’s no idealist, he’s fiercely committed to exposing corruption and unearthing the city’s hidden rot, even when it puts him at risk. His constant sleuthing pulls him deep into Tulsa’s underbelly – and often away from his 14-year-old daughter “Francis”, a precocious kid who’s inherited his curiosity and longs to join him on his adventures. His ex “Samantha” is exasperated by Lee’s endless digging, but still sees the good in him – especially when it comes to Francis, the one thing they’ve never stopped showing up for. When the publication of Lee’s latest exposé – a deep dive into the powerful Washberg family – is immediately followed by the suspicious suicide of “Dale Washberg”, the black sheep of the family, Lee knows he’s stumbled onto something big. Following a trail of breadcrumbs Dale has left behind, urging someone to dig deeper into the circumstances surrounding his death, Lee does just that. What Lee finds is that “Betty Jo”, the grieving widow, seems to be more interested in her brother-in-law “Donald Washberg”, a gubernatorial candidate, than in her dearly departed. And powerful forces want to prevent Lee from learning anything more.

The CW has picked up two seasons of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent. The 10-episode first season based on the classic series format created by legendary producer Dick Wolf and starring Aden Young and Kathleen Munroe will premiere on The CW in Fall 2025. Their unique investigative skills are showcased through psychological tactics, with a heavy focus on the motives and actions of the criminals. These cases delve into the worlds of high finance, politics, real estate, media, and more.

Season three of Foundation premieres July 11 on Apple TV+. Based on Isaac Asimov’s stories, the series stars Jared Harris and Lee Pace alongside Lou Llobell. Set 152 years after the events of season two, The Foundation has become increasingly established far beyond its humble beginnings while the Cleonic Dynasty’s Empire has dwindled. As both of these galactic powers forge an uneasy alliance, a threat to the entire galaxy appears in the fearsome form of a warlord known as “The Mule,” whose sights are set on ruling the universe by use of physical and military force as well as mind control. It’s anyone’s guess who will win, who will lose, who will live and who will die as Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, the Cleons and Demerzel play a potentially deadly game of intergalactic chess. Season three introduces new characters and stars, including Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Troy Kotsur and Pilou Asbæk. The series also stars returning cast Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann and Rowena King.

The eighth and final season of Big Mouth premieres May 23 on Netflix. The beloved Bridgeton teens tackle new challenges as high schoolers such as: driving, drugs, sexual inexperience, enthusiastic consent, porn and the teenage mind, cancel culture, their changing bodies, and (in the end) fear of the looming future. Through it all, friendship is the cornerstone for surviving this time of life – whether one’s puberty is just beginning, like for Nick who gets his first growth spurt, or near its conclusion, like for a maturing (and prematurely balding) Andrew. At the height of the season, when many of our characters are in crisis, Compassion, emerges as a crucial way forward. Ultimately, though, this season is about the importance of sticking by and supporting your friends, especially when life gets overwhelming and messy. In the end, our kids step into the harrowing unknown of the future, made less afraid of what’s to come because they have each other.

Peacock has ordered Dig from Mike Schur and Amy Poehler. Schur and Poehler will co-write the pilot episode and executive produce the series, with Poehler set to star. The series marks the first collaboration between the pair since Parks and Recreation, which aired its series finale in 2015. The series is an adaptation of Kate Myers’ “Excavations.” Four women working at an archeological dig in Greece are at wildly different crossroads in their lives. When the team uncovers a long-buried secret with the potential to rewrite history, they find themselves at the center of a high-stakes international conspiracy.

Fox has canceled Rescue HI-Surf after one season. The series follows the personal and professional lives of the heavy-water lifeguards who patrol and protect the North Shore of O’ahu – the most famous and dangerous stretch of coastline in the world. Each episode will feature these dedicated, heroic and adrenaline-seeking first-responders saving lives in the difficult and often life-threatening conditions of Hawaii’s Seven Mile Miracle.

Apple TV+ has ordered The Wanted Man. The series stars Hugh Laurie, Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead, Gina McKee, Hazel Doupe, Elliott Heffernan and Stephen Dillane. The series charts the rise and fall of Felix Carmichael, the elusive and powerful head of notorious British crime syndicate ‘The Capital.’ Untouchable for 20 years, Carmichael is finally apprehended, but while he’s held in the infamous Staplehurst prison, it becomes clear that he’s been betrayed by one of his own. As the traitor moves to dismantle the empire he has built, Carmichael must risk everything in a daring escape. Willing to stop at nothing to take his revenge, if he succeeds, he’ll be a wanted man once more.

Fox has renewed Animal Control and Going Dutch. Animal Control will return for a fourth season while Going Dutch will return for a second season. Animal Control follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. Going Dutch centers on the arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn, who — after an epically unfiltered rant — is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least strategic army base in the world, notable for its Michelin Star-commissary, top-notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Bravo has ordered four new series for the upcoming year. Joining the network are The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Ladies of London, The Valley: Persian Style and Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. Bravo has also ordered season renewals of many of their beloved docuseries, including Below Deck Med (season 10), Below Deck Down Under (season 4), Married to Medicine (season 12), Southern Charm (season 11), Southern Hospitality (season 4), The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (season 15), The Real Housewives of Orange County  (season 19), The Real Housewives of Potomac (season 10) and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (season 6).

ABC has picked up a pilot for drama RJ Decker. The potential series is based on the book “Double Whammy” by Carl Hiaasen. The potential series would likely be eyed for midseason.

MTV has renewed The Challenge for season 41. The series returns this summer featuring fan favorite veterans Aneesa Ferreira, Leroy Garrett, and CT Tamburello. A full cast list and premiere date will be announced at a later date.

Sonequa Martin-Green is set to star in CBS’s upcoming new series Boston Blue. She joins Donnie Wahlberg in the Blue Bloods spinoff series which is set to premiere in the fall.

Documentary anthology series Trainwreck premieres June 10 on Netflix. The series focuses on some of the wildest and most bizarre events ever to blow up in mainstream media. Each week, tune in to a new story told from the perspective of those at the heartbeat of the chaos. Opening with the tragedy of the 2021 Astroworld Festival, the series then ranges from political scandals and media hoaxes to cult-like corporations and reality TV disasters. HBO has renewed The Last of Us ahead of its second season premiere, April 13. Season two takes place five years after the events of the first season. Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.

The Waterfront premieres June 19 on Netflix. For decades, the Buckley family has ruled Havenport, North Carolina, dominating everything from the local fishing industry to the town’s restaurant scene. But their fishing empire has started to crumble as patriarch Harlan Buckley recovers from two heart attacks, and his wife Belle and son Cane venture into the deep end to keep the family businesses afloat. As their attempts spiral out of control and into treacherous waters, Harlan steps back in to take command. Facing her own demons, Buckley daughter Bree – an addict in recovery who’s lost custody of her son – finds herself entangled in a complicated relationship that could threaten the family’s future forever. Inspired by true events and set against the backdrop of coastal North Carolina, the series comes from prolific showrunner Kevin Williamson. The twisty drama plays out over eight episodes that are as much about family dynamics as they are about the lengths people will go to when their legacy is on the line.

AMC has renewed Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches for a third season.
