House on Fire premieres June 5 on BET+. The 8-episode reality series offers an intimate look behind the scenes of modern-day Ballroom culture, inside the esteemed House of Mugler. Thirty years after the legendary documentary Paris is Burning, Ballroom is still a safe space for the marginalized, but today’s Ballroom world is bigger and louder than ever. It follows the relationships and rivalries of seven members of this Chosen Family. The parents juggle impressive careers while mentoring their children. The young ones play chess amongst each other to find their place in the House and make a name for themselves – ball by ball, trophy by trophy. 

Ernie Hudson has been cast in Boston Blue. He joins Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green in the spinoff of CBS’ Blue Bloods. The series follows NYPD officer Danny Reagan as he takes a position with Boston PD. Once in Boston, he is paired with detective Lena Peters, the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family. 

The Bondsman has been canceled after one season. The Prime Video series follows Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter, who’s back from the dead after being resurrected by the Devil to trap and send back demons that have escaped from the prison of Hell. By chasing down those demons, with the help and hindrance of his estranged family, Hub learns how his own sins got his soul condemned – which pushes him to seek a second chance at life, love, and country music. 

Netflix has added cast to its upcoming A Different World spinoff pilot. Chibuikem Uche, Maleah Joi Moon, Cornell Young, Jordan Hall and Alijah Kai Higgins will star in the project. The series will follow Dwayne and Whitley’s daughter at an HBCU.

Scarlett Johansson will host the Saturday Night Live season finale May 17 on NBC. Bad Bunny will serve as musical guest on the late night series.

Prime Video announced a multi-title licensing deal with Glitch Productions that brings their creator-led animated web series to the streaming service. The unique deal will bring new audiences to the world of indie animation, starting with sci-fi horror comedy, Murder Drones. The fan-favorite series has garnered over 270 million views on YouTube captivating audiences with its unique blend of humor, horror, and survival in a frozen post-apocalyptic world with hormonal (and sometimes murderous) robots. All eight episodes of this darkly imaginative series are available to watch on Prime Video.

Season 27 of Law & Order: SVU will see Kelli Giddish return as a series regular. Giddish left the series as a regular in season 24, but made appearances on the series since. The news comes after the announcement that Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano would be leaving the series. 

The English dub of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! premieres May 18 on hulu. With their old hideout and bosses wiped out, the surviving Dusters make a secret agreement with the Ranger Force to engage in the weekly Sunday Showdown – one where they will always be defeated. Tired of this charade, Fighter D finally steps up to make a change once and for all!

Ryan Kiera Armstrong has joined the cast of the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot pilot, set to be directed by Chloé Zhao. She joins the returning Sarah Michelle Gellar in the potential hulu series. Armstrong’s character will be a new slayer. 

HIDIVE has announced premiere dates for two anime English dubs. Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho Cour 1 will premiere June 4. I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? premieres June 25. In Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho, in the Edo period, there was a shrine maiden called “Itskihime” in the mountain village of Kadono. Jinta, a wandering orphan who, along with his younger sister Suzune, drifted into the village and grew up to become the shrine maiden’s guardian, ventures into the forest to defeat a mysterious demon who speaks to him of the far future and the threat of a Demon God. So begins this epic supernatural historical fantasy series that follows a demon hunter through his century-spanning journey from the Edo to Heisei periods – all-the-while questioning his wielding of a sword. In I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? in order to protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, signs a master-servant contract with him on the condition that she stays with him. Despite her cool appearance of defeating demons, Shizuri is an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. While Shizuri is spoiled by Tsukasa and leads a lazy cohabitation life, the quirky Kunoichi gather together.

Michael J. Fox has been cast in the upcoming series on Shrinking. He will play a major guest-starring role in the Apple TV+ series. 

Raid the Cage returns for five episodes starting May 28 on CBS. Damon Wayans Jr. hosts the action-packed game show where strategy, teamwork and nerve are key to winning big every Wednesday night. In the series, co-hosted by Jeannie Mai, two teams of two face off to grab-and-go prizes from the “cage” before their time runs out and the doors close. Correctly answering trivia questions adds seconds to the clock, giving teammates more time to grab prizes ranging from cool trips to electronics and even a new car! James Van Der Beek has been cast in the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series Elle. He will recur in the Prime Video series as a mayoral candidate.

Hey Beautiful: Anatomy of a Romance Scam premieres May 20 on hulu. There’s big money in the lonely-hearts business with online scammers primed to take advantage of vulnerable women around the world. Nickelodeon is doubling down on Paw Patrol with a brand-new slate of five original hour-long specials. Each of the animated specials center on a different pup, with the first featuring jungle rescuer Tracker set to premiere this fall, followed by a pup-tacular holiday event focusing on construction-savvy Rubble. The remaining PAW Patrol specials will roll out in 2026. This news comes on the heels of the previously announced episode cycle order, marking seasons 12 and 13 for the award-winning series.

Crime thriller Mafia premieres June 19 on Viaplay. In the powerful six-episode crime series drawing inspiration from actual events, the series charts the transformation of Sweden in the 1990s, evolving from a relatively tranquil nation untouched by organized crime into a land marked by intense gang conflicts and violent shootouts. The series follows the life of the notorious gangster and criminal visionary Radovan “Jakov” Jakovic, chronicling his journey from poverty to wealth. Against Jakov is police officer Gunn Thörngren, the lone cop who sees the looming Mafia menace, hidden in the shadow of cigarette smuggling. As the story begins, both Gunn and Jakov are underdogs, forced to play a daring game to circumvent their superiors. It’s not long before they develop a connection with each other. Each is convinced they are using the other for their own benefit, but their connection will have devastating consequences for both of them. The plot spans nine years during the 1990s, coinciding with the period when the Yugoslav Wars were happening – when borders were redrawn, even in the underworld of Europe and Sweden. As the millennium approached, some of these criminals established a cigarette smuggling operation that generated billions. Greed accelerated, internal conflicts escalated, and soon Sweden witnesses its first gang war, whose consequences still echo today. Game of Thrones prequel series A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms will now make its debut on HBO in 2026. The series was initially set to premiere in 2025.

Tony Shalhoub Breaking Bread will follow Shalhoub around the world. New Orleans will highlight the city featuring interviews with Emeril Lagasse, Wendell Pierce, Malcolm Jenkins, Trombone Shorty and James Carville. Decades of Sports will look back on major sports moments. Have I Got News For You has been renewed for a third season which will premiere September 6. 

Back to the Frontier premieres July 10 on Magnolia Network. The series from Chip and Joanna Gaines follows three American families as they reimagine their lives as 1880s homesteaders, challenged to forgo the comforts of the present day for a more analog life on the frontier. Three families hailing from across the country join together in the wilderness surrounded by ten thousand acres of nature, without the modern conveniences of technology, running water, or electricity. The CW has picked up two seasons of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent. The 10-episode first season based on the classic series format created by legendary producer Dick Wolf and starring Aden Young and Kathleen Munroe will premiere on The CW in Fall 2025. The first season follows the Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit’s detective duo, Detective Sergeants Henry Graff and Frankie Bateman, as they investigate high-profile homicides in Canada’s largest metropolis. F1: The Academy premieres May 28 on Netflix. This adrenaline-fueled docuseries, from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, follows female drivers as they battle it out in the 2024 F1 Academy racing series. Acorn TV has renewed Inspector Ellis for a second season. The series will once again follow the tenacious DCI alongside her right-hand man, DS Harper, both of whom are parachuted into failing investigations across the north of England.

Apple TV+ has ordered animated preschool series Not a Box. The series is inspired by the beloved, children’s picture book of the same name by author and illustrator Antoinette Portis. Janet Jackson will receive the prestigious Icon Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, an honor bestowed upon an artist whose music has had undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry. This year’s ceremony will kick off summer with host Jennifer Lopez live from the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas on Memorial Day, May 26. Promising to be a night of unforgettable performances, including from Lopez herself, the 51st AMAs will air live coast to coast at 8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT on CBS. 

Vince Carter will join NBC Sports as a studio analyst when the NBA returns to NBC and debuts on Peacock this October. When Carter joins for the start of the 2025-26 NBA season, he will be in studio one or more nights per week through the playoffs, often working alongside Carmelo Anthony. 

Recognizing the deep connection the ESPN brand has established with sports fans and the significance of the moment, the new direct-to-consumer (DTC) ESPN streaming service will be named ESPN. Fans will have two ESPN DTC plans from which to choose, including an unlimited package that delivers the entire suite of ESPN networks and content. Designed to give fans more choice, flexibility and access to all of ESPN via the enhanced ESPN App, the plans will cost $29.99/month for the unlimited package and $11.99/month for a select option. There will also be bundling opportunities for the ESPN unlimited plan with Disney+ and Hulu, including a special offer at launch for $29.99/month for the first 12 months. It was previously announced that the direct-to-consumer offering will launch in early fall and that ESPN will continue to be available through traditional MVPDs and DMVPDs.

The Kingdom, focusing on the Kansas City Chiefs is to ESPN later this year. Too Much premieres July 10 on Netflix. Fallout has been renewed for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of its upcoming second season, which is set to premiere in December 2025. The series is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. 

Limited series Untamed premieres July 17 on Netflix. The series is a character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past. 

Peacock’s The Paper will premiere this September. The mockumentary from Greg Daniels and Michael Koman is set in the same universe as NBC’s The Office, and features the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch. The crew is in search of a new subject when they discover a historic Toledo newspaper, The Truth Teller, and the eager publisher that is trying to revive it. The series stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and The Office star Oscar Nuñez. 

Lupin will return for Part 4 on Netflix. Omar Sy reprises his iconic role as Assane Diop, the gentleman thief, inspired by the work and character ‘Arsène Lupin’ created by Maurice Leblanc. 

Apple TV+ today announced it has landed Wild Things, a new limited series that will Jude Law and Andrew Garfield as renowned showmen Siegfried & Roy. The eight-episode, hour-long series, tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show. Law will star as Siegfried and Garfield will star as Roy, and the series is set to go into production this fall.

Prime Video has ordered Delphi to series. The series is the first live-action series extension of the Creed Universe, focused on young boxers at the Delphi gym. 

Spider-Noir will premiere on Prime Video in 2026. The series is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. It tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero. The series will be available in both black and white and color. 

Apple TV+ has ordered Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars. The eight episode docuseries will be hosted by Jesse Burgess. Exploring the high-stakes world of international fine dining with exclusive Michelin Guide access over the course of the year-long Michelin Guide season, it follows the fates of elite chefs at some of the world’s most unique and celebrated restaurants to determine if they will win, maintain or lose that precious Star. From attempting to gain their first, tirelessly working to secure their distinction, or striving to gain a second or an elusive third star – each chef faces a deeply personal challenge. The Michelin Star is the most prestigious culinary award in the world, recognizing the finest ingredients cooked to the highest possible standards. A Barbershop series is coming soon to Prime Video. Starring Jermaine Fowler, the television adaptation of the franchise revolves around Travis “Trav” Porter, who endeavors to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, a legendary barber at the iconic “Calvin’s” barbershop in Chicago. And while the barbers are new, the shop remains just as lively, the customers just as argumentative, and the fades are still the dopest in the city – because at Calvin’s, the community comes together for way more than just a haircut. 

Patrick Dempsey will star in new edge-of-your-seat dramatic thriller Memory of a Killer as series lead Angelo Ledda, a hitman leading a dangerous double life, while hiding an even deadlier personal secret. Mike “The Miz” Mizanin will join as host of the action-packed U.S. reboot of the iconic competition series American Gladiators for Prime Video. Originating as a weekly U.S. syndicated show, American Gladiators burst onto screens in 1989 and quickly became the #1 watched sports entertainment show in the world. The show returns with an exciting new take, and an All Star cast of Gladiators for the modern era. The competition will feature brand new events, as well incorporate some classics from the original series like “Gauntlet,” “Hang Tough,” and “The Eliminator.”

Season 27 of NBC’s competition series The Voice will conclude during the live show on Tuesday, May 20 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT). The episode will feature special performances from Alicia Keys with Amanda Reid, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, Foreigner, James Bay with Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas, Kelly Clarkson and Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood.

Prime Video has renewed Beast Games, created and hosted by YouTube phenomenon MrBeast (aka Jimmy Donaldson), for two additional seasons. The series features the biggest reality competition series ever, with 1,000 players competing for a $10 million cash prize in Season 1. 

NBC and Peacock will welcome 2026 with a high-energy, star-studded celebration as hip-hop icon, entrepreneur and entertainment mogul Snoop Dogg hosts Snoop Dogg’s New Years Eve live from Miami on Dec. 31 at 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. ET/PT. Bringing his signature style and larger-than-life presence, Snoop Dogg will headline a night packed with unforgettable music, iconic performances and surprise artist collaborations. This once-in-a-lifetime New Year’s Eve event will include showstopping performances all night long leading up to midnight. Get ready to ring in the new year, Snoop Dogg style. 

Prime Video greenlit two new sports documentaries from Skydance Sports and NFL Films. A six-part series following six New York Jets players and their partners throughout the 2024-’25 regular season and a feature-length documentary about Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens. 

Michael Jordan will join NBC Sports’ coverage of the NBA as a special contributor when the 2025-26 season begins in October. NBC Sports has already announced that Jamal Crawford and Reggie Miller will serve as game analysts, Carmelo Anthony as a studio analyst, and Mike Tirico and Noah Eagle as play-by-play voices.

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards will stream on Prime Video for the next three years, taking the show through its 63rd ceremony in 2028. Established in 1966, the Academy of Country Music Awards is the longest-running Country Music awards show and made history in 2022 as the first major awards ceremony to exclusively livestream, in collaboration with Prime Video. 

Filmmaker Lynn Novick will direct and produce a new, three-part series on the history of New York City’s Central Park for PBS. The series is expected to air on PBS in 2028. It will follow the evolution of the Park from its inception in the mid-19th century as the rapidly growing city expanded northward, through competing ideas about park use and controversy over “encroachments” in the 20th century, to the near demise of the Park during New York’s fiscal crisis of the 1970s, and finally, to its preeminence today. It will examine evolving ideas about urban development and the social purpose of public spaces, with a focus on the Park as a naturalistic environment conceived, created, and maintained by and for people. Over three episodes Novick will introduce viewers to the remarkable individuals who designed and built the Park, as well as many people who have shaped it – for better and for worse – over the decades. The filmmakers also examine bitter conflicts about access and development, contrasting the pressures of greater commercialization and development with those who have sought to restore and preserve the Park. 

Prime Video announced that it has ordered an untitled docuseries featuring prominent, multi-hyphenate female CEOs whose business ventures move center stage in their lives. Primary featured CEOs include legendary athlete and businesswoman Serena Williams, award-winning artist and “Queen of Latin Pop” Thalia; former model and fashion designer Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger; Market America | SHOP.COM CEO Loren Ridinger; supermodel, beauty entrepreneur, and founder of Cay Skin Winnie Harlow; founder of Conteur Capital and wellness expert Hannah Bronfman; and fashion and jewelry designer Isabela Rangel Grutman. 

FOX Sports will strengthen its football roster with a pair of exclusive broadcast windows for this coming NFL season. The doubleheader, featuring Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders and Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears, is set for Week 16 on Saturday, December 20 and is set to be preceded by a one-hour pregame show. The added doubleheader slate sets a record for most-ever by any network (11) and makes FOX the home of the most NFL windows this season (31). 

The 2025 holiday season begins and ends on Prime Video in grand fashion, with two of the most anticipated NFL matchups of the year. Festivities commence on November 28 with the streamer’s third edition of Black Friday Football, when the Super Bowl champion Eagles take on Caleb Williams and the Bears to kick off a daylong celebration of top-tier sports and great shopping deals. Twenty-seven days later, the merriment culminates with a prime-time Christmas night gathering of the Broncos and Chiefs in Kansas City that may determine the fate of the AFC West crown. 

Peacock will be the exclusive national home of an NFL Week 17 game in primetime, streaming live on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025. The Peacock Holiday Exclusive will be selected from a pool of key NFL Week 17 Saturday matchups. 

FOX has unveiled the name of its new streaming service, FOX One. FOX One will bring all of FOX’s leading News, Sports and Entertainment branded content together in one dynamic streaming platform. 

Nine Puzzles premieres May 21 on hulu. Ten years ago, Yoon Ena came home to a nightmare – her uncle murdered and a lone puzzle piece by his side. Season two of Such Brave Girls is coming soon to hulu. The series follows Josie, her sister Billie and their mother Deb, risking everything they’ve got for a single scrap of love and adoration. Still desperately trying to escape the reality of their cramped, crumbling, debt-ridden home, it’s a good thing Dev and Seb are coming to the rescue. 

True crime series Fatal Destination premieres on ID June 3. ABC has renewed five unscripted series for new seasons. Returning for the 2025-2026 season are America’s Funniest Home Videos (season 36), American Idol (season 24), Celebrity Jeopardy! (season 4), Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (season 6), and Shark Tank (Season 17). 

Fox has ordered medical drama series Best Medicine. The series is based on the British series Doc Martin and will star Josh Charles. The series centers on Martin Best, a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child. Unfortunately, Martin’s blunt and borderline rude bedside manner rubs the quirky, needy locals the wrong way, and he quickly alienates the town, even though he’s all they’ve got. Although Martin can expertly address any medical ailment or mystery in this idiosyncratic town, he’s really just desperate to be left the hell alone. Instead, he keeps getting dragged right smack into the middle of their personal chaos, feuds and fantasies. What the locals don’t know is that Martin’s terse demeanor masks a debilitating new phobia and deep-seated psychological issues that prevent him from experiencing true intimacy with anyone. But tenacity is the creed of everyone in their small village, and the people who live there may be exactly what the doctor ordered. 

Peacock has ordered Ted: The Animated Series. The animated series picks up after the Ted films. Seth MacFarlane is set to reprise the voice of the iconic and loveable foul-mouthed teddy bear “Ted.” Original film franchise stars return as series regulars to voice their roles include Mark Wahlberg as “John,” Amanda Seyfried as “Sam,” and Jessica Barth as “Tami-Lynn. Additional series regulars include Kyle Mooney as “Apollo” and Liz Richman as “Ruth.” 

Season two of Peacemaker premieres August 21 on Max. The new season follows Christopher “Chris” Smith, aka Peacemaker, the vigilante Super Hero as he struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost. The series stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. New cast members include Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows. 

Walton Goggins is set to host Saturday Night Live May 10. Arcade Fire will serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

Prime Video has canceled On Call after one season. The series is being shopped to other outlets. The series is an adrenalized and visceral police drama that follows a rookie and veteran officer duo as they go on patrol in Long Beach, California. Incorporating a mixture of bodycam, dash-camera, and cellphone footage to create a cinema verité effect, the innovative series explores the morality of protecting and serving a community. 

Fox has ordered limited event series The Faithful. The six episode series will be presented over three consecutive weeks during next Easter and Passover season – is based on The Old Testament’s Book of Genesis and told through the eyes of the courageous and passionate, yet flawed women whose descendants would shape three of the world’s great faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Dimensional, dramatic, intimate, even shocking, The Faithful is about discovering and losing love, the challenges of marriage, the joys and heartbreak of children, confronting temptation and finding faith. The episodes will be told through the lens of five of The Bible’s most legendary women: Sarah and her former slave Hagar, Sarah’s great-niece Rebekah, and Rebekah’s nieces, sisters Leah and Rachel. 

Peacock has announced a compelling, heartwarming and villainous slate of new unscripted series. New series include Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks, Gilgo Beach Killer: The House of Secrets, and season three of House of Villains which moves to the streamer from E!. Previously announced returning series include Love Island USA, Love Island: Beyond The Villa, Love Island Games, Married at First Sight, and The Traitors. 

Season two of Netflix’s A Man on the Inside has begun. The new season will see Charles going undercover at a college. Ted Danson stars in the series. 

Production on season two of hulu’s Rivals has begun. The drama returns with an extended season of twelve episodes, up from eight, and even more wit, desire, and dramatic twists. Netflix has ordered its first Nordic medical drama starring Sara Khorami in the lead role. At the emergency ward, it doesn’t matter who you are – rich or poor, influencer, carpenter, or minister. Despite low staffing, little time, perhaps one too many cups of coffee, and a demanding crowd of patients, a team of exhausted but resilient doctors and nurses are ready to help. Noir action series Mercy for None premieres June 6 on Netflix. The series follows Ki-jun, a former underworld figure who severed his own Achilles tendon to leave that life behind 11 years ago. When his brother Ki-seok, once the second-in-command of their organization, is found dead, Ki-jun returns to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death. 

Sports comedy docuseries Sports Gone Wrong premieres June 18 on Vice TV. The series narrated by Joey Mulinaro features commentary from four-time NBA Champion and TV host John Salley, comedian and actor Godfrey, podcaster and media personality Jessica Smetana, and comedian Paul Virzi. Each episode blends comedic commentary with archival footage to break down jaw-dropping sports debacles – from controversial rule-breaking athletes and over-eager fans stealing home runs to infamous on-air moments, out-of-control fights, public scandals, unlikely injuries, and more. Salley, Godfrey, Smetana, and Virzi react to questionable NFL team theme songs; test Michael Jordan’s cologne; play “Shaq Fu;” give their take on the infamous 1996 Orioles-Yankees Jeffrey Maier playoff game; pick sides in the 1984 Copa del Rey final brawl; and much more. 

Trapped: What Is Happening to Wendy Williams? premieres May 19 on ID. One of the most influential voices in radio, daytime television, and pop culture, Wendy Williams built a storied career over her decades in the entertainment industry. In 2022, following the end of her eponymous talk show and speculation around her mental and physical health, Williams entered into a guardianship. The guardianship eventually revealed Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, and she was placed in a memory care facility in New York City. Despite the guardianship’s claims about Williams’ current state, her fanbase has activated a #FreeWendy movement calling for Williams to have the opportunity to regain control of her life. The special goes inside this push for Williams’ release, provides info into her rise to fame and influence on pop culture and chronicles the personal and professional struggles leading to her guardianship. 

Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death The Movie will be released in theaters in North America July 16. The film will be released in both English Dub and Japanese with English subtitles. Before they were enemies, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were high school classmates and friends. The two powerful sorcerers are tasked with protecting Riko Amanai, a student who has been designated to be sacrificed as the Star Plasma Vessel, until she can fulfill her duty. Pursued by a religious cult and other curse users, they are the only sorcerers capable of carrying out such a difficult task – but this mission will set their destinies, and challenge the two sorcerers in ways unimaginable. The series streams on Crunchyroll.

Sports comedy Stick premieres June 4 on Apple TV+. Owen Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi. It is a heartfelt, feel-good sports comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before. 

Season three of Ginny & Georgia premieres June 5 on Netflix. Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding – ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – Is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?

Season two of The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy premieres May 27 on Prime Video. The series follows daring surgeons (and inseparable best friends) Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak, where they frequently risk everything to take on the most dangerous cases in the universe. In Season Two of The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, doctors Sleech and Klak relish the fame of their recent success until a cyborg journalist starts digging a little too deep into Sleech’s past. 

LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley have joined the cast of 9-1-1: Nashville. They join Chris O’Donnell and Jessica Capshaw in the ABC spinoff of 9-1-1. 

Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Annie Murphy have joined the cast of tubi’s Breaking Bear. They join Elizabeth Hurley and Josh Gad in the adult animated series. The series follows the escapades of three bear siblings who decide they have to start selling drugs in order to raise money and save their home after gas companies start fracking next to their cave. The bears soon enlist other forest animals in a scheme that will pit them against oil companies, The Russian Mafia, local Hell’s Angels and polar bears who hate anything that isn’t white. 

Super Mega Cakes premieres June 16 on Food Network. Legendary chef and artist Duff Goldman has been battling top-tier opponents his whole career, but the new series pushes his skill and talent to the next level. In the six-episode series, Team Duff goes up against six teams of the country’s best cake artists over the course of four days – all at once. With themes from Superman and Architectural Wonders to Classic Cartoons, the results are mind-blowingly realistic pieces of edible art with intricate details and interactive elements. Each episode focuses on one head-to-head build to impress judges Sherry Yard and Amaury Guichon who will determine each week’s most successful cake – while Duff must juggle all six projects at the same time. Special guests joining the judging panel include Eric Bauza, Beck Bennett, Paul de Gelder, Jack Osbourne, Drew Scott and Jacques Torres. In the end, the finalist cakes are presented and tasted by a 50-person audience who will name the grand champion.

Docuseries Secrets of the Bunny Ranch premieres June 12 on A&E. The series pulls back the curtain on the inner workings of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, exploring the impact the infamous brothel had on the women who worked there. At the center of the Bunny Ranch was owner Dennis Hof, viewed by his supporters as a prostitution liberator who worked to destigmatize the profession. Featuring interviews with former Bunny Ranch workers – many speaking for the first time – the documentary reveals how women drawn in by the promise of a better life through the glamourous world portrayed on Cathouse instead allege they faced a hidden reality marked by bullying, humiliation, manipulation, sexual assault and even murder. Season two of Criminal Code premieres June 4 on Netflix. After helping Embaixador break out of prison, Isaac and his Phantom Gang become the Federal Police’s main targets. With even more daring robberies, they become a legend among thugs. Chasing a criminal mind like that will demand everything from the agents. 1000-Lb Roomies premieres June 10 on TLC. The Survivors premieres June 6 on Netflix. When a young woman is killed in Evelyn Bay, the seaside town’s tight-knit community begins to unravel as the investigation of her death exposes long-held secrets and past wounds. The series is based on the novel by Jane Harper. 

Limited true crime series The Killer Clown: Murder on the Doorstep premieres June 5 on SundanceTV, Sundance Now and AMC+. The series chronicles the jaw dropping true story behind the murder of Florida resident Marlene Warren, a young wife and mother, who was brutally gunned down on her own doorstep by a person dressed as a clown. With rumors of infidelity and an unhappy marriage, Marlene’s husband Michael Warren emerges as the prime suspect, but with a solid alibi detectives can’t prove his involvement, and the case goes cold. Three decades later there’s a shocking twist – Michael’s alleged mistress Sheila Keen is arrested for Marlene’s murder accused of donning the clown disguise. In May 2023 Sheila pleaded guilty just before trial. Case closed? Or does this guilty plea raise as many questions as it answers? The three-part series re-examines the case uncovering a complex web of love, betrayal, and deceit. The eighth and final season of Big Mouth premieres May 23 on Netflix. The beloved Bridgeton teens tackle new challenges as high schoolers such as: driving, drugs, sexual inexperience, enthusiastic consent, porn and the teenage mind, cancel culture, their changing bodies, and (in the end) fear of the looming future. Through it all, friendship is the cornerstone for surviving this time of life – whether one’s puberty is just beginning, like for Nick who gets his first growth spurt, or near its conclusion, like for a maturing (and prematurely balding) Andrew. At the height of the season, when many of our characters are in crisis, Compassion, emerges as a crucial way forward. Ultimately, though, this season is about the importance of sticking by and supporting your friends, especially when life gets overwhelming and messy. In the end, our kids step into the harrowing unknown of the future, made less afraid of what’s to come because they have each other.

Peacock has ordered Dig from Mike Schur and Amy Poehler. Schur and Poehler will co-write the pilot episode and executive produce the series, with Poehler set to star. The series marks the first collaboration between the pair since Parks and Recreation, which aired its series finale in 2015. The series is an adaptation of Kate Myers’ “Excavations.” Four women working at an archeological dig in Greece are at wildly different crossroads in their lives. When the team uncovers a long-buried secret with the potential to rewrite history, they find themselves at the center of a high-stakes international conspiracy. 

Fox has canceled Rescue HI-Surf after one season. The series follows the personal and professional lives of the heavy-water lifeguards who patrol and protect the North Shore of O’ahu – the most famous and dangerous stretch of coastline in the world. Each episode will feature these dedicated, heroic and adrenaline-seeking first-responders saving lives in the difficult and often life-threatening conditions of Hawaii’s Seven Mile Miracle. 

Apple TV+ has ordered The Wanted Man. The series stars Hugh Laurie, Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead, Gina McKee, Hazel Doupe, Elliott Heffernan and Stephen Dillane. The series charts the rise and fall of Felix Carmichael, the elusive and powerful head of notorious British crime syndicate ‘The Capital.’ Untouchable for 20 years, Carmichael is finally apprehended, but while he’s held in the infamous Staplehurst prison, it becomes clear that he’s been betrayed by one of his own. As the traitor moves to dismantle the empire he has built, Carmichael must risk everything in a daring escape. Willing to stop at nothing to take his revenge, if he succeeds, he’ll be a wanted man once more. 

Fox has renewed Animal Control and Going Dutch. Animal Control will return for a fourth season while Going Dutch will return for a second season. Animal Control follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. Going Dutch centers on the arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn, who — after an epically unfiltered rant — is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least strategic army base in the world, notable for its Michelin Star-commissary, top-notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Bravo has ordered four new series for the upcoming year. Joining the network are The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Ladies of London, The Valley: Persian Style and Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. Bravo has also ordered season renewals of many of their beloved docuseries, including Below Deck Med (season 10), Below Deck Down Under (season 4), Married to Medicine (season 12), Southern Charm (season 11), Southern Hospitality (season 4), The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (season 15), The Real Housewives of Orange County  (season 19), The Real Housewives of Potomac (season 10) and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (season 6).  

ABC has picked up a pilot for drama RJ Decker. The potential series is based on the book “Double Whammy” by Carl Hiaasen. The potential series would likely be eyed for midseason. 

MTV has renewed The Challenge for season 41. The series returns this summer featuring fan favorite veterans Aneesa Ferreira, Leroy Garrett, and CT Tamburello. A full cast list and premiere date will be announced at a later date. 

Sonequa Martin-Green is set to star in CBS’s upcoming new series Boston Blue. She joins Donnie Wahlberg in the Blue Bloods spinoff series which is set to premiere in the fall. 

Documentary anthology series Trainwreck premieres June 10 on Netflix. The series focuses on some of the wildest and most bizarre events ever to blow up in mainstream media. Each week, tune in to a new story told from the perspective of those at the heartbeat of the chaos. Opening with the tragedy of the 2021 Astroworld Festival, the series then ranges from political scandals and media hoaxes to cult-like corporations and reality TV disasters. It delves into the stories the world could not look away from. 

Contractor Mike Holmes and his kids, home renovation experts Michael Holmes, Jr. and Sherry Holmes, will return for eight new episodes of Holmes Family Rescue. The season will premiere June 4 on HGTV. The series spotlights Mike’s personal mission to “make it right” for homeowners who have fallen victim to careless or dishonest contractors. In each episode, he will team up with Michael and Sherry to rescue more desperate clients who are struggling with botched construction jobs – exposing the shoddy renovation work and then helping the families fix the problem.

Power Moves with Shaquille O’Neal premieres June 4 on Netflix. The series follows Shaquille O’Neal as he takes on the role of President of Reebok Basketball, returning to the brand that gave him his first shot. Teaming up with Vice President Allen Iverson, Shaq is on a mission to revive the iconic brand and lead a bold comeback from Reebok’s Boston headquarters. 

Rabil’s Places premieres June 4 on ESPN+. The 5 episode series follows Paul Rabil as he explores the rich history and traditions of college and pro lacrosse and pays respects to the game’s indigenous origins. From conversations with the biggest names in lacrosse to visiting the cultural hotbeds of the sport, Paul will showcase how lax has continued to grow and evolve into the game we love today. 

Season three of Eva Lasting premieres June 4 on Netflix. After graduation, new firsts arrive for the duo: living together, starting a business, and the dreaded college life. Everything seems exciting, but Camilo must face changes, make difficult decisions, and survive the roller coaster of love, loyalty, and life’s twists and turns.
