Task will premiere this September on HBO. Set in the working class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man. 

Season 27 of Law & Order: SVU will see Kelli Giddish return as a series regular. Giddish left the series as a regular in season 24, but made appearances on the series since. The news comes after the announcement that Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano would be leaving the series. 

The English dub of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! premieres May 18 on hulu. With their old hideout and bosses wiped out, the surviving Dusters make a secret agreement with the Ranger Force to engage in the weekly Sunday Showdown – one where they will always be defeated. Tired of this charade, Fighter D finally steps up to make a change once and for all!

Ryan Kiera Armstrong has joined the cast of the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot pilot, set to be directed by Chloé Zhao. She joins the returning Sarah Michelle Gellar in the potential hulu series. Armstrong’s character will be a new slayer. 

HIDIVE has announced premiere dates for two anime English dubs. Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho Cour 1 will premiere June 4. I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? premieres June 25. In Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho, in the Edo period, there was a shrine maiden called “Itskihime” in the mountain village of Kadono. Jinta, a wandering orphan who, along with his younger sister Suzune, drifted into the village and grew up to become the shrine maiden’s guardian, ventures into the forest to defeat a mysterious demon who speaks to him of the far future and the threat of a Demon God. So begins this epic supernatural historical fantasy series that follows a demon hunter through his century-spanning journey from the Edo to Heisei periods – all-the-while questioning his wielding of a sword. In I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? in order to protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, signs a master-servant contract with him on the condition that she stays with him. Despite her cool appearance of defeating demons, Shizuri is an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. While Shizuri is spoiled by Tsukasa and leads a lazy cohabitation life, the quirky Kunoichi gather together.

Michael J. Fox has been cast in the upcoming series on Shrinking. He will play a major guest-starring role in the Apple TV+ series. 

Raid the Cage returns for five episodes starting May 28 on CBS. Damon Wayans Jr. hosts the action-packed game show where strategy, teamwork and nerve are key to winning big every Wednesday night. In the series, co-hosted by Jeannie Mai, two teams of two face off to grab-and-go prizes from the “cage” before their time runs out and the doors close. Correctly answering trivia questions adds seconds to the clock, giving teammates more time to grab prizes ranging from cool trips to electronics and even a new car! After three lively rounds, the team that banks the highest total dollar value in prizes wins the game, keeps what they grabbed and plays the final round to try and “beat the cage” for an even bigger cash prize.

James Van Der Beek has been cast in the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series Elle. He will recur in the Prime Video series as a mayoral candidate. 

Soccer drama series 90 Minutes premieres May 22 on Peacock. When Las Navajas, a once-legendary amateur soccer team, is shaken by a scandalous brawl, their aging owner recruits washed-up local legend “Veneno” Montoya to coach the underdogs through a tournament filled with bitter rivalries, mafia threats, and impossible odds – igniting a wild journey to reclaim their honor and restore their neighborhood’s pride. 

Comedy powerhouse and internet sensation Kountry Wayne is set to release his sophomore comedy special on Prime Video. The new special will be taped on October 4, 2025, at The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Hulu will be adding English dubs of anime series this June. I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Complete Season 1, So I’m a Spider, So What?, Wise Man’s Grandchild, and Yuri on Ice will premiere June 3. Beyblade X: Season 1B will premiere June 9. Helck, My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered, and My Isekai Life will premiere June 23. 

Hey Beautiful: Anatomy of a Romance Scam premieres May 20 on hulu. There’s big money in the lonely-hearts business with online scammers primed to take advantage of vulnerable women around the world. In the wild west of online dating, how much do we really know about the people behind the profiles? The new true crime series, from Anchor Entertainment in association with Trinoculus Films and produced for ABC News Studios, follows the story of three women – Annette, Roxy and Gaby – who fall head-over-heels in love with the same handsome man, only to discover they have been swindled out of their money in an elaborate romance scam. Heartbroken and furious, they fight back to uncover the scammer’s true identity. Their shocking search leads them to a man with more secrets than they could have imagined. As they begin to seek justice, they learn that escaping the scam may become a matter of life and death. 

Nickelodeon is doubling down on Paw Patrol with a brand-new slate of five original hour-long specials. Each of the animated specials center on a different pup, with the first featuring jungle rescuer Tracker set to premiere this fall, followed by a pup-tacular holiday event focusing on construction-savvy Rubble. The remaining PAW Patrol specials will roll out in 2026. This news comes on the heels of the previously announced episode cycle order, marking seasons 12 and 13 for the award-winning series.

Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, Reneé Rapp, Benson Boone and Lainey Wilson are set to perform at the 2025 American Music Awards. The world’s largest fan-voted awards show, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, airs live coast to coast from Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Memorial Day, May 26 at 8:00 PM, ET / 5:00 PM, PT on CBS. 

Crime thriller Mafia premieres June 19 on Viaplay. In the powerful six-episode crime series drawing inspiration from actual events, the series charts the transformation of Sweden in the 1990s, evolving from a relatively tranquil nation untouched by organized crime into a land marked by intense gang conflicts and violent shootouts. The series follows the life of the notorious gangster and criminal visionary Radovan “Jakov” Jakovic, chronicling his journey from poverty to wealth. Against Jakov is police officer Gunn Thörngren, the lone cop who sees the looming Mafia menace, hidden in the shadow of cigarette smuggling. As the story begins, both Gunn and Jakov are underdogs, forced to play a daring game to circumvent their superiors. It’s not long before they develop a connection with each other. Each is convinced they are using the other for their own benefit, but their connection will have devastating consequences for both of them. The plot spans nine years during the 1990s, coinciding with the period when the Yugoslav Wars were happening – when borders were redrawn, even in the underworld of Europe and Sweden. As the millennium approached, some of these criminals established a cigarette smuggling operation that generated billions. Greed accelerated, internal conflicts escalated, and soon Sweden witnesses its first gang war, whose consequences still echo today. The cynical political game is also depicted, where the profits from smuggling help finance various factions in the Yugoslav civil war.

Tyla will host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025, the biggest party of the summer, live on June 21, at 8. The KCAs will celebrate fans’ favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more. It will simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2 and CMT, and also air on Nickelodeon channels around the world. Netflix has announced new series. All the Sinners Bleed is an adaptation of S.A. Cosby’s novel. A Star Search reboot will air live on the streamer. Coming of age series The Body has been ordered. An Untitled Dan Levy series will air on the streamer. Additionally, The Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders, and Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings will stream live on Netflix this Christmas. 

Big Brother returns with its biggest season ever, airing the most original hours of programming in 25 years since its 2000 debut through extended 90-minute Wednesday episodes and the launch of Big Brother: Unlocked on Friday nights throughout the season. The new season kicks off with a 90-minute premiere July 10 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) followed by a 90-minute Sunday episode July 13 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT). Julie Chen Moonves returns as host. Max’s The Pitt will get a run on air. The first season will air on TNT ahead of the second season premiere on HBO Max. The medical drama’s first season ran for fifteen episodes. 

Game of Thrones prequel series A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms will now make its debut on HBO in 2026. The series was initially set to premiere in 2025. 

CNN has announced renewals and new series. Eva Longoria: Searching for France will follow Longoria sampling French cuisine and culture. Tony Shalhoub Breaking Bread will follow Shalhoub around the world. New Orleans will highlight the city featuring interviews with Emeril Lagasse, Wendell Pierce, Malcolm Jenkins, Trombone Shorty and James Carville. Decades of Sports will look back on major sports moments. Have I Got News For You has been renewed for a third season which will premiere September 6. 

Back to the Frontier premieres July 10 on Magnolia Network. The series from Chip and Joanna Gaines follows three American families as they reimagine their lives as 1880s homesteaders, challenged to forgo the comforts of the present day for a more analog life on the frontier. Three families hailing from across the country join together in the wilderness surrounded by ten thousand acres of nature, without the modern conveniences of technology, running water, or electricity. The Lopers (Alabama), Hanna-Riggs (Texas), and Halls (Florida) must live on the frontier for eight weeks, reinforcing their own shelters, raising livestock, collecting food, and rationing their supplies. Through this immersive experience, the families will have to reflect on their relationships and navigate the challenges that come with an 1880s lifestyle.

Dancing With Sharks, a Shark Week special hosted by Tom Bergeron will air on Discovery Channel. An untitled Vanity Fair/Dick Wolf Series will air on ID. They Know What They Did narrated by Jennifer Love Hewitt will air on ID. Renovating the Bachelor Mansion will air on HGTV. Heart & Hustle: Houston will air on OWN. Scripted miniseries High Value Target will air on TNT. 90 Day: Hunt For Love will air on TLC starting May 26.

Streamer Max will be rebranded HBO Max this summer. The streamer was initially called HBO Max before the name was changed. HBO Max is the destination for prestigious entertainment brands such as HBO, Warner Bros., Max Originals, DC, Harry Potter, A24 Films, as well as iconic shows like Friends and The Big Bang Theory, all in one place.

Scarlett Johansson will host the Saturday Night Live season finale May 17. Bad Bunny will serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series.

Sports comedy Stick premieres June 4 on Apple TV+. Owen Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi. It is a heartfelt, feel-good sports comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before. 

Season three of Ginny & Georgia premieres June 5 on Netflix. Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding – ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Annie Murphy have joined the cast of tubi’s Breaking Bear. They join Elizabeth Hurley and Josh Gad in the adult animated series. The series follows the escapades of three bear siblings who decide they have to start selling drugs in order to raise money and save their home after gas companies start fracking next to their cave. The bears soon enlist other forest animals in a scheme that will pit them against oil companies, The Russian Mafia, local Hell’s Angels and polar bears who hate anything that isn’t white. 

Super Mega Cakes premieres June 16 on Food Network. Legendary chef and artist Duff Goldman has been battling top-tier opponents his whole career, but the new series pushes his skill and talent to the next level. In the six-episode series, Team Duff goes up against six teams of the country’s best cake artists over the course of four days – all at once. With themes from Superman and Architectural Wonders to Classic Cartoons, the results are mind-blowingly realistic pieces of edible art with intricate details and interactive elements. Each episode focuses on one head-to-head build to impress judges Sherry Yard and Amaury Guichon who will determine each week’s most successful cake – while Duff must juggle all six projects at the same time. Comedy special Jerrod Carmichael: Don’t Be Gay premieres May 24 on HBO. Jerrod Carmichael returns to the stage for his fourth HBO stand-up special.

1000-Lb Roomies premieres June 10 on TLC. The English dub of mono premieres May 3 on Crunchyroll. Satsuki Amamiya was feeling down due to the graduation of the high school Photography Club’s president. CBC has renewed blue sky procedural Wild Cards for two seasons. The series airs on The CW in the US. The Canadian broadcaster has also renewed Saint-Pierre for season two, Allegiance for season three, Heartland for season nineteen, and Murdoch Mysteries for season nineteen. 

Rosa Salazar has exited Einstein following CBS deciding to shift the series to the 2026-2027 season. Matthew Gray Gubler remains as the remaining series regular. 

Link Click will return for a third season in 2026. A prequel series, Link Click: Bridon Arc, aired earlier this year. Using superpowers to enter their clientele’s photos one by one, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang take their work seriously at “Time Photo Studio,” a small photography shop set in the backdrop of a modern metropolis. Josh Hutcherson has joined HBO’s Rachel Sennott comedy series. He takes over the role Miles Robbins was originally cast in. The series follows a codependent friend group who reunites, navigating how the time apart, ambition, and new relationships have changed them.

The 78th Annual Tony Awards will air live on CBS June 8. The show makes its return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City. CBS and Pluto TV will present The Tony Awards: Act One, a pre-show of live, exclusive content leading into the main show. Additional details will be available at a future date. 

CNN has announced premiere dates for its summer series. American Prince: JFK Jr. premieres August 9. Live Aid: When Rock ‘n’ Roll Took On the World premieres July 13. Billionaire Boys Club premieres July 13. 

Paramount+ announced the gag-worthy lineup of celebrity guest judges who will join host RuPaul and mainstay judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, TS Madison and recurring judge Law Roach for the tenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. The star-studded lineup of guest judges includes Ice Spice, Chappell Roan, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Colman Domingo, Kate Beckinsale, Susanne Bartsch, Adam Shankman, Jamal Sims, Mayan Lopez, Devery Jacobs and Sarah Michelle Gellar. For the first time ever, the series will introduce a brand-new format across twelve episodes: the Tournament of All Stars. The queens will be divided into three groups of six, each competing in their own bracket across three episodes. At the end of each bracket, the top three queens with the highest point totals will advance to the semi-finals, where they’ll go head-to-head with the top queens from the other groups in another round of fierce competition over two episodes. The tournament will then culminate in an epic Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown grand finale episode, where the finalists will battle it out for a grand prize of $200,000 and a place in the coveted Drag Race Hall of Fame. The season premieres May 9 with two episodes. 

The season two Vanderpump Villa Reunion premieres May 8 on hulu. History repeats itself when the guests get stranded and start getting knocked off one by one during a murder spree that grows exponentially more gruesome than the original with each kill. 

Peacock announced four new emerging artist-led series, each concept developed and executed by next-gen creators – Charlie Curtis-Beard, Katie Florence, Serena Kerrigan, and Daren Vongirdner – successful self-made social media stars with passionate followings and thriving businesses. The Warehouse Phase, The Kouncil, Older Hotter Wiser, and People Like Me will premiere May 19. 

Art Detectives premieres June 9 on Acorn TV. Art-loving DI Mick Palmer and straight-talking DC Shazia Malik together solve murders connected to the world of art and antiques, from Old Master paintings, to Banksy street art, medieval manuscripts and collectible vinyl. Each episode follows Mick and Shazia as they navigate a rich and colorful world driven by greed, obsession, lust and revenge. Tyler Perry‘s She The People will premiere on Netflix in two parts. Part 1 will premiere May 22 with the first eight episodes. Part 2 will premiere August 14 with the final eight episodes.

Season two of The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy premieres May 27 on Prime Video. In the eight episode new season, doctors Sleech and Klak relish the fame of their recent success until a cyborg journalist starts digging a little too deep into Sleech’s past. 

Jerrod Carmichael returns to the stage for his fourth HBO stand-up special in Don’t Be Gay. The comedy special will premiere May 24. 

ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise heats up this Summer in Costa Rica featuring Jesse Palmer, Wells Adams and Hannah Brown. Fan favorites from the Golden seasons are joining the fun, proving once again that age is just a number, as they bring their experience and a little extra spice to show the younger crowd how it’s done. 

MGM+ has ordered anthology series American Hostage starring Jon Hamm. The first season is a psychological thriller set in the 1970s that tells the harrowing true story of Fred Heckman, a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who is thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis when hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis demands to be interviewed on his popular radio news program. It is based on the acclaimed first season of the scripted podcast of the same name. 

Shudder announced a multiple project pickup deal with modern-day horror icons and drag superstars The Boulet Brothers. Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet’s reality competition series, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, has been renewed for a seventh season, and the show’s all-star spinoff format The Boulet Brothers Dragula: Titans, has been renewed for season two. Shudder has also picked up an all-new holiday special, The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors, featuring co-host David Dastmalchian. Production began this week on season two of Titans, which will be the first to premiere later this year on Shudder and AMC+. 

VICE Sports is teaming with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, in association with NFL Films, to produce The NFL Playback. The new series will offer a fresh take on some of the NFL’s most remarkable games of recent memory, with commentary from stars who played in them and devoted celebrity fans who watched the games live. The series will premiere on VICE TV this September, airing six one-hour episodes on consecutive Wednesday nights. 

ESPN has signed College GameDay host and play-by-play voice Rece Davis to a multi-year contract extension. Davis will continue to host ESPN’s College GameDay football and men’s basketball franchises, anchor College Football Playoff studio coverage, ABC’s NFL Draft and ESPN shows at Men’s Final Four, and call football and basketball games. 

Cheat: Unfinished Business premieres April 30 on Netflix. Hosted by Amanda Holden, the series brings together 8 ex-couples torn apart by cheating. Guided by relationship expert Paul C. Outlander: Blood of My Blood premieres August 8 on Starz. The stand-alone Outlander prequel series features new cast, characters and stories welcoming viewers unfamiliar with the Outlander universe, while also providing origin stories of fan-favorite characters from early seasons of Outlander, and offering new perspectives that will change what viewers of the original series think they know. In addition to Corfield, Irvine, Slater and Roy, who play the parents of Outlander’s central couple, Claire and Jamie, Outlander: Blood of my Bloo stars Tony Curran as Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie, Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie, Rory Alexander as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, and Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan. 

Ballard will premiere on Prime Video this summer. The Bosch: Legacy spinoff series stars Maggie Q as Detective Renée Ballard, who is tasked with running the LAPD’s new cold case division – a poorly funded, all-volunteer unit with the largest case load in the city. Ballard approaches these frozen-in-time cases with empathy and determination. When she uncovers a larger conspiracy during her investigations, she’ll lean on the assistance of her retired ally, Harry Bosch, to navigate the dangers that threaten both her unit and her life.

The English dub of WIND BREAKER season two premieres April 17 on Crunchyroll. Welcome to Furin High School, an institution infamous for its population of brawny brutes who solve every conflict with a show of strength. Some of the students even formed a group, Bofurin, which protects the town. Haruka Sakura, a first-year student who moved in from out of town, is only interested in one thing: fighting his way to the top.

Season three of The Gilded Age will premiere in June on HBO. HGTV has ordered new seasons of Ugliest House in America and Scariest House in America starring Retta. During both series, Retta travels the United States to tour properties nominated by homeowners who believe their place is one of the ugliest – or scariest – in the country. In Ugliest House in America, Retta will go cross-country to visit horrendous homes nominated by their owners and share her hilarious hot takes of the stunningly bad designs, cringe-worthy layouts and sorely outdated styles. Based on its ugly appearance, poor functionality and hideous design choices, one house will be crowned the “ugliest house in America” by HGTV and receive a stunning $150,000 renovation by network star Alison Victoria. The new season will premiere in 2026. Scariest House in America will return with six new episodes spotlighting spine-tingling elements to embrace the spirit of Halloween. Retta will tour eerie and terrifying houses through the Midwest, Northeast and South that owners say are haunted by scary stories and hair-raising sights. She’ll offer hilariously unfiltered views about each home’s scary appearance, bad function and fright factor. The home deemed the “scariest” of them all will also get a renovation revival by designer Alison Victoria. Season two is slated to premiere in September. 

Mini Reni premieres on Magnolia Network May 14. Known for her large-scale renovations, Joanna Gaines takes on the challenge to renovate three rooms in one week. In each episode, she makes a few budget-friendly changes to completely transform outdated spaces in need of a refresh.

Peacock has canceled Based on a True Story and Mr. Throwback. Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina starred in Based on a True Story which ran for two seasons. Adam Pally, Steph Curry, and Ego Nwodim starred in Mr. Throwback which ran for one season. 

NBC has ordered On Brand with Jimmy Fallon. The innovative unscripted series follows what happens when Jimmy Fallon starts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever, and competitive go-getters he can find. The series will be hosted by Fallon based on his experience and expertise working with an impressive list of his own global partnerships in the auto, insurance, apparel, gaming and technology industries. It will premiere later this year. Among the household brands to be featured are Captain Morgan, Dunkin’, KitchenAid, Marshalls, Pillsbury, Samsung, SONIC Drive-In, Southwest Airlines and Therabody. Samsung will power the “On Brand Agency’s” headquarters. Fallon recruited Bozoma Saint John as the On Brand Agency’s Chief Marketing Officer, where she will mentor the creatives and evaluate their work. Saint John is a legendary marketing executive famous for pushing boundaries and who boasts an unmatched resumé of C-suite experience at the world’s top brands, including Uber, Pepsi and Netflix. In each episode, the On Brand Agency creatives will work with a major brand in need of a big idea for a massive, high-priority campaign – from creating earworm jingles and unbelievable activations to producing the most quotable commercials and must-have merchandise. They will have unprecedented access to the client’s businesses before pitching their vision to a brand representative, along with Saint John and Fallon, with only the best ideas moving on to proof of concept and the opportunity to see their campaign brought to life on the national stage after each episode. In a final big assignment, one visionary will be named the best in the business, given a cash prize and provided the experience of changing the cultural landscape. Prime Video has canceled Citadel: Honey Bunny and Citadel: Diana after one season each. The series were offshoots of Prime Video’s Citadel series, which is set to return for its second season in 2026. Season one aired in 2023. 

Lindsay Lohan is set to star in hulu’s Count My Lies project in development. The potential series is based on the novel by Sophie Stava. 

Kai Parham and Michael Ealy have joined the cast of Prime Video’s The Greatest. Parham will play Muhammad Ali’s brother Rudy Clay. Ealy will recur as Malcolm X.

Nate Bargatze will host the 77th Emmy Awards September 14 on CBS, live coast to coast from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Nominations will be announced by the Television Academy on July 15, streaming live at 8:30 AM, PT on Emmys.com. The telecast will be preceded by the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, with ceremonies produced by the Television Academy on September 6 and September 7. 

TIME100: The World’s Most Influential People premieres May 4 on ABC. The 19th annual TIME100 Gala will be hosted by artist and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg, and feature performances by singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and singer-songwriter Myles Smith. The event will also feature the presentation of a TIME Impact Award to Olympic gymnast and advocate Simone Biles, as well as special remarks from members of this year’s list including actor Blake Lively, former tennis player and entrepreneur Serena Wiliams, actor Kristen Bell, and CEO of CAMFED Angelina Murimirwa, as well as TIME CEO Jessica Sibley and Editor-in-Chief Sam Jacobs, and more. 

The final batch of Naruto Shippuden episodes will premiere on hulu May 1. Episodes in this batch include episodes 486-500. 

Lulu Is a Rhinoceros premieres May 30 on Apple TV+. Based on the beloved children’s book of the same name by father-daughter duo Jason and Allison Flom, the special is an empowering pop musical family event about kindness, acceptance and embracing one’s true self. Murder mystery series Scrublands returns May 29 on AMC+. Based on Silver, the bestselling sequel to Scrublands by Chris Hammer, the new four-episode season picks up after a year has passed since the life-changing events of season one. Award-winning investigative journalist Martin Scarsden returns to his coastal hometown, Port Silver, WA, to start a new chapter with his partner, Mandy Bond. Tucci in Italy premieres May 18 on National Geographic. All episodes will stream May 19 on Disney+ and Hulu. HBO’s Harry Potter series has cast John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu, Nick Frost, Luke Thallon, and Paul Whitehouse. Lithgow will play Albus Dumbledore. McTeer will play Minerva McGonagall. Paapa Essiedu will play Severus Snape. Nick Frost will play Rubeus Hagrid. They will all be series regulars. Luke Thallon will play Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse will play Argus Filch. They will both recur. 

Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes will serve as mega mentors on season 27 on NBC’s The Voice. Rimes, a coach on The Voice UK and The Voice Australia, joins John Legend and Adam Levine while Crow joins coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé to mentor the remaining artists as each team prepares for the Playoffs, kicking off April 28. Each coach enters the Playoffs with five artists per team. Alongside the coaches, Crow and Rimes bring their distinct vocals, creative edge and deep industry experience to guide the artists into their most high-stakes performances yet. Coaches alone choose two artists from their team to advance to the Live Shows. 

The English dub of Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii will premiere on Crunchyroll April 15 with all twelve episodes. Somei Renji is Somei Yoshino’s grandfather and leader of the “Somei Group”, the Kansai region’s biggest yakuza group. When he arranges for her to be married to Miyama Kirishima, Yoshino has to move to “Miyama Clan” estate, the Kanto region’s biggest yakuza group. Kirishima warmly welcomes Yoshino and is such a pleasant, personable, and nice young man that nobody would suspect that he comes from a yakuza family. This puts Yoshino at ease even though she was initially feeling insecure in this unfamiliar place. But then, a certain event leads to Yoshino witnessing the real Kirishima.

Season four of docuseries Couples Therapy premieres May 23 on Paramount+ with Showtime. The first three episodes will debut on-air on May 23 back-to-back starting at 9pm ET/PT. The remaining new episodes will air weekly, with two episodes airing back-to-back on Fridays at 9pm ET/PT. The series follows world-renowned psychologist and psychoanalyst Dr. Orna Guralnik as she deftly guides couples through real-life therapy sessions. The series brings viewers into the intimate sessions to witness the conflicts – and extraordinary breakthroughs – typically hidden behind closed doors. The second part of season four invites viewers back to the couch, where Dr. Orna Guralnik navigates a thorny brew of recriminations, conflict and painful truths with four new couples. Guralnik delves into the crisis of a deaf man and his hearing partner torn between sexual freedom and commitment, a young couple haunted by trauma and buried secrets, a long-married pair trapped in cycles of bickering and avoidance and a therapist-writer duo locked in a zero-sum battle of sacrifice and grievance that pushes Orna to question her own methods. 

Jason Vendryes has been cast on Beyond the Gates. His character will have an impact on Martin and Vernon on the CBS daytime series. He will begin recurring in May. 

Duck Dynasty: The Revival premieres May 28 on A&E. The series has already been greenlit for season two. It centers on Willie and Korie Robertson as they navigate life with their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, now part of the next generation carrying on the Robertson legacy at their Louisiana homestead. As the family business expands beyond ducks, Willie and Korie bring their signature wit and down-home charm while they explore the future of Duck Commander, support their children through marriage, parenthood, and entrepreneurship, and work to keep their legacy alive. However, Willie quickly realizes that this next generation isn’t as Robertson as he originally thought. The original Duck Dynasty aired for 11 seasons on A&E. 

Taylor Ann Green is leaving Southern Charm. She had been with the Bravo series for four seasons. Season eleven is about to begin filming. 

ESPN will exclusively televise three games from the 2025 SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament, beginning Wednesday, April 16. At 7:30 p.m. ET, the Miami Heat (10th seed), led by Bam Adebayo, will visit the Chicago Bulls (9th seed) and Coby White. The team of Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame broadcasters Mike Breen and Doris Burke, analyst Richard Jefferson and reporter Cassidy Hubbarth will be on the call. In the second half of the doubleheader, the Dallas Mavericks (10th seed) and Anthony Davis will face the Sacramento Kings (9th seed) and Domantas Sabonis at 10 p.m. Dave Pasch, analyst Tim Legler and reporter Jorge Sedano will provide coverage. ESPN will also exclusively televise the Western Conference Play-In Tournament finale on Friday, April 18. Game time will be announced at a later date. The matchup will feature the winner of Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings against the loser of the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors game.

ESPN and the Savannah Bananas are joining forces for a summer filled of Banana Ball, providing fans an opportunity to witness one of sports’ fastest growing sensations across ESPN and Disney platforms, beginning in April and continuing each month through August. MLB and football stadiums will host each of the ten games of the new agreement, including historic Fenway Park, picturesque Camden Yards and raucous Memorial Stadium, home of the Clemson Tigers, adding to the electrifying atmosphere that has become synonymous with Banana Ball. The summer of the Savannah Bananas will be showcased on Friday and Saturday nights on ESPN or ESPN2, with all ten games also simulcast live on Disney+ and ESPN+.
