Season three of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds premieres July 17 on Paramount+ with the first two episodes. Following the premiere, new episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays, with the season finale on September 11. In season three, when we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike, they face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve. Task will premiere this September on HBO. Set in the working class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man. 

Season 27 of Law & Order: SVU will see Kelli Giddish return as a series regular. Giddish left the series as a regular in season 24, but made appearances on the series since. The news comes after the announcement that Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano would be leaving the series. 

The English dub of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! premieres May 18 on hulu. With their old hideout and bosses wiped out, the surviving Dusters make a secret agreement with the Ranger Force to engage in the weekly Sunday Showdown – one where they will always be defeated. Tired of this charade, Fighter D finally steps up to make a change once and for all!

Ryan Kiera Armstrong has joined the cast of the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot pilot, set to be directed by Chloé Zhao. She joins the returning Sarah Michelle Gellar in the potential hulu series. Armstrong’s character will be a new slayer. 

HIDIVE has announced premiere dates for two anime English dubs. Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho Cour 1 will premiere June 4. I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? premieres June 25. In Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho, in the Edo period, there was a shrine maiden called “Itskihime” in the mountain village of Kadono. Jinta, a wandering orphan who, along with his younger sister Suzune, drifted into the village and grew up to become the shrine maiden’s guardian, ventures into the forest to defeat a mysterious demon who speaks to him of the far future and the threat of a Demon God. So begins this epic supernatural historical fantasy series that follows a demon hunter through his century-spanning journey from the Edo to Heisei periods – all-the-while questioning his wielding of a sword. In I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? in order to protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, signs a master-servant contract with him on the condition that she stays with him. Despite her cool appearance of defeating demons, Shizuri is an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. While Shizuri is spoiled by Tsukasa and leads a lazy cohabitation life, the quirky Kunoichi gather together.

Michael J. Fox has been cast in the upcoming series on Shrinking. He will play a major guest-starring role in the Apple TV+ series. 

Raid the Cage returns for five episodes starting May 28 on CBS. Damon Wayans Jr. hosts the action-packed game show where strategy, teamwork and nerve are key to winning big every Wednesday night. In the series, co-hosted by Jeannie Mai, two teams of two face off to grab-and-go prizes from the “cage” before their time runs out and the doors close. Correctly answering trivia questions adds seconds to the clock, giving teammates more time to grab prizes ranging from cool trips to electronics and even a new car! After three lively rounds, the team that banks the highest total dollar value in prizes wins the game, keeps what they grabbed and plays the final round to try and “beat the cage” for an even bigger cash prize.

James Van Der Beek has been cast in the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series Elle. He will recur in the Prime Video series as a mayoral candidate. 

Soccer drama series 90 Minutes premieres May 22 on Peacock. When Las Navajas, a once-legendary amateur soccer team, is shaken by a scandalous brawl, their aging owner recruits washed-up local legend “Veneno” Montoya to coach the underdogs through a tournament filled with bitter rivalries, mafia threats, and impossible odds – igniting a wild journey to reclaim their honor and restore their neighborhood’s pride. 

Comedy powerhouse and internet sensation Kountry Wayne is set to release his sophomore comedy special on Prime Video. The new special will be taped on October 4, 2025, at The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Hulu will be adding English dubs of anime series this June. I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Complete Season 1, So I’m a Spider, So What?, Wise Man’s Grandchild, and Yuri on Ice will premiere June 3. Beyblade X: Season 1B will premiere June 9. Helck, My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered, and My Isekai Life will premiere June 23. 

Hey Beautiful: Anatomy of a Romance Scam premieres May 20 on hulu. There’s big money in the lonely-hearts business with online scammers primed to take advantage of vulnerable women around the world. In the wild west of online dating, how much do we really know about the people behind the profiles? The new true crime series, from Anchor Entertainment in association with Trinoculus Films and produced for ABC News Studios, follows the story of three women – Annette, Roxy and Gaby – who fall head-over-heels in love with the same handsome man, only to discover they have been swindled out of their money in an elaborate romance scam. Heartbroken and furious, they fight back to uncover the scammer’s true identity. Their shocking search leads them to a man with more secrets than they could have imagined. As they begin to seek justice, they learn that escaping the scam may become a matter of life and death. 

Nickelodeon is doubling down on Paw Patrol with a brand-new slate of five original hour-long specials. Each of the animated specials center on a different pup, with the first featuring jungle rescuer Tracker set to premiere this fall, followed by a pup-tacular holiday event focusing on construction-savvy Rubble. The remaining PAW Patrol specials will roll out in 2026. This news comes on the heels of the previously announced episode cycle order, marking seasons 12 and 13 for the award-winning series.

Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, Reneé Rapp, Benson Boone and Lainey Wilson are set to perform at the 2025 American Music Awards. The world’s largest fan-voted awards show, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, airs live coast to coast from Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Memorial Day, May 26 at 8:00 PM, ET / 5:00 PM, PT on CBS. 

Crime thriller Mafia premieres June 19 on Viaplay. In the powerful six-episode crime series drawing inspiration from actual events, the series charts the transformation of Sweden in the 1990s, evolving from a relatively tranquil nation untouched by organized crime into a land marked by intense gang conflicts and violent shootouts. The series follows the life of the notorious gangster and criminal visionary Radovan “Jakov” Jakovic, chronicling his journey from poverty to wealth. Against Jakov is police officer Gunn Thörngren, the lone cop who sees the looming Mafia menace, hidden in the shadow of cigarette smuggling. As the story begins, both Gunn and Jakov are underdogs, forced to play a daring game to circumvent their superiors. It’s not long before they develop a connection with each other. Each is convinced they are using the other for their own benefit, but their connection will have devastating consequences for both of them. The plot spans nine years during the 1990s, coinciding with the period when the Yugoslav Wars were happening – when borders were redrawn, even in the underworld of Europe and Sweden. As the millennium approached, some of these criminals established a cigarette smuggling operation that generated billions. Greed accelerated, internal conflicts escalated, and soon Sweden witnesses its first gang war, whose consequences still echo today. The cynical political game is also depicted, where the profits from smuggling help finance various factions in the Yugoslav civil war. 

The Snake premieres June 10 on Fox. The series is a social survival of the fittest, where each contestant must leverage their unique skills, training and powers of persuasion as they face a multitude of challenges designed to showcase the traits needed to be successful in the game. Tyla will host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025, the biggest party of the summer, live on June 21, at 8. The KCAs will celebrate fans’ favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more. It will simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2 and CMT, and also air on Nickelodeon channels around the world. Lulu Is a Rhinoceros premieres May 30 on Apple TV+. Season 27 of South Park premieres on Comedy Central July 9. The series last aired its 26th season back in 2023. 

Star Wars series Tales of the Underworld premieres May 4 on Disney+. The six episode series consists of shorts. 

Fox has given four-season renewals for The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers, and announced the return of American Dad! to the network. The renewals encompass the 16th through 19th Seasons of Bob’s Burgers, the 24th through 27th Seasons of Family Guy and the record-setting 37th through 40th Seasons of The Simpsons, extending its standing as the longest-running scripted primetime series in television history. American Dad! debuted on FOX in 2005 and was a part of the network’s animation lineup through 2014. The animated comedy will return to the network for Seasons 20 through 23. 

Apple TV+ has ordered comedic drama series The Husbands. The eight episode series stars Juno Temple. When Lauren returns home to her flat in London late one night, she is greeted at the door by her husband, Michael. There’s only one problem – she’s never seen this man before in her life. As Lauren tries to puzzle out how she could be married to someone she can’t remember meeting, Michael goes to the attic to change a lightbulb and abruptly disappears. In his place, a new husband emerges. Realizing that her attic is creating an infinite supply of husbands, Lauren confronts the question: If swapping lives is as easy as changing a lightbulb, how do you know you’ve taken the right path? When do you stop trying to do better and start actually living? 

Food Network has renewed Wildcard Kitchen for a third season. In the series, Eric Adjepong welcomes all-star chefs to his underground poker game where they cook, bet, bluff and backstab for cold hard cash and bragging rights. Wildcard Kitchen is currently in pre-production, with shooting expected to commence this spring. 

Production is underway in Texas on the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman. The series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore. It is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown”, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics. 

Deborah Norville will be leaving Inside Edition. Norville will depart at the end of the current season. 

Season four of Clarkson’s Farm premieres May 23 on Prime Video with the first four episodes. Two additional episodes will be released a week later on 30th May, followed by the final two on 6th June. Join Jeremy and his team as they navigate new challenges, ambitious projects, and hilarious moments at Diddly Squat Farm. After rounding off series three with the Diddly Squat gang toasting a tumultuous year, we return a few months later to find life on the farm has changed. Kaleb is on a nationwide tour, Lisa is working on a new product line, and Jeremy is left to run the farm alone. In Kaleb’s absence, Jeremy must keep Diddly on track and comes up with an idea.

Weak Hero Class 2 premieres April 25 on Netflix. The new chapter follows Yeon Si-eun, a student who was only focused on himself and his studies. Docuseries Fake Life, True Crime examines the murder of young Ana Páez, committed by María Ángeles Molina (“Angi”) in 2008. This case was dubbed “The Almost Perfect Crime” by the media, and Angi is currently serving a sentence for it. It also sheds light on Angi’s past, her marriage to Juan Antonio Álvarez Litben, and the businessman’s death in 1996. The documentary miniseries arrives on Netflix on May 1. 

WrestleMania IX: Becoming a Spectacle premieres April 11 on Peacock. Featuring never-before-seen footage from the WWE archives, it follows the making of the Las Vegas WrestleMania in 1993 that paved the path forward for the company. From the chaos outside Caesars Palace to the action inside the ring, the documentary pulls back the curtain on the “World’s Largest Toga Party” with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the event.

In the movie, Michelle Yeoh reprises her fan-favorite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou – a character she played in Star Trek: Discovery – who joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past. 

Severance season two premieres January 17 on Apple TV+. Mark Scout leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself. In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe. 

Yellowjackets returns for season three February 14 with the first two episodes. The series is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over. This season Hilary Swank will guest star and join the all-star cast, along with Joel McHale. 

Season three of Invincible premieres February 6 on Prime Video with the first three episodes. The series follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, as he inherits his father’s superpowers and sets out to become Earth’s greatest defender, only to discover the job is more challenging than he could have ever imagined. Everything changes as Mark is forced to face his past, and his future, while discovering how much further he’ll need to go to protect the people he loves. 

Dexter: Original Sin premieres December 13 on Paramount+ with Showtime. It will make its broadcast premiere on December 15. Serving as a prequel to Dexter, the series is set in 1991 Miami and follows Dexter as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry, he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcement’s radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department. 

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the first film in an epic trilogy, is coming exclusively to theaters globally in 2025. The three-part cinematic movie represents the final arc and culmination of the hugely popular award-winning anime shonen series. The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll. 

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season two premieres January 30 on Netflix. After the harrowing battle with Mela-Galland, the Four Knights set forth to find a way into Camelot – but the path is rife with danger and adventure! 

The Wheel of Time returns for season three March 13 on Prime Video. The show is based on the best-selling Robert Jordan fantasy book series “The Wheel of Time,” in which a humble farm boy, Rand al’Thor, learns he is The Dragon Reborn – a dangerous figure from history destined to save the world … or break it. The Wheel of Time turns, and the Last Battle approaches. At the end of Season Two, after defeating Ishamael, Rand reunites with his friends at Falme and is declared the Dragon Reborn. Going Dutch premieres January 2 on Fox. An outspoken Army Colonel attempts to restore order at a military outpost in the Netherlands alongside his estranged daughter and XO Major Abraham Shah.

As the first female comic to record a special at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, the comedian returns for her second Netflix comedy special. Celebrate the New Year right as Buteau reflects on motherhood, marriage, and more.

Netflix announced its first-ever on-air talent roster for NFL Christmas Gameday. Live from Pittsburgh, Houston, and Los Angeles, this lineup is filled with multi-award-winning NFL experts and special guests aimed to give viewers the ultimate Gameday experience on Netflix on December 25. The two epic matchups include the Super Bowl LVII-winning Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM ET; followed by the Baltimore Ravens versus the Houston Texans at 4:30 PM ET. It will be a family affair both on-and-off camera marking the first-time a father and son broadcasting duo, Ian and Noah Eagle, are calling games for the same streaming service; JJ Watt will be providing color commentary for the Steelers-Chiefs game, where his brother, linebacker TJ Watt will be playing; the McCourty brothers will be working together from the Pittsburgh sidelines. The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks premieres on Paramount+ October 24. The crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is tasked with closing “space potholes” – subspace rifts that are causing chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. Pothole duty would be easy for Jr. Officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford … if they didn’t also have to deal with an Orion war, furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries and scariest of all: their own career aspirations. This upcoming season on Paramount+ is a celebration of this underdog crew who are dangerously close to being promoted out of the lower decks and into strange new Starfleet roles. 

Creature Commandos premieres December 5 on Max. The series tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails… they’re your last, worst option.

Season three of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will premiere on Paramount+ in 2025. Rhys Darby will guest star in the upcoming season. The series is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, Number One and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the starship, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy. 

Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ March 4. The series stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who reprise their roles as Daredevil and Wilson Fisk. 

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy has been renewed for a second season ahead of its first season. It was also announced that Tatiana Maslany will be a recurring special guest star in season one. The series will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. The series will introduce viewers to this young group of cadets as they come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they will discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself. 

Rose McIver will direct an episode of CBS’s Ghosts. McIver stars in the series as Sam. It was also announced that  Sakina Jaffrey and Bernard White will star in the Christmas episode as Jay’s parents. 

The English dub of Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance premieres October 24 on Crunchyroll. During the upheaval of the Bakumatsu Era, the Imperialist Kenshin Himura was feared as the “Hitokiri Battosai.” Although he carries a sakabato in his hand, he swore to never kill again and spends his days living in the new era as a ruruoni. On May 14th, Meiji 11, one of the “Three Great Nobles of the Restoration,” Toshimichi Okubo, was killed. Behind the scenes of this incident that would change the times, Makoto Shishio plans to overthrow the Meiji government. Kenshin says his goodbyes to Kaoru Kamiya and sets off to Kyoto, where he plans on stopping Makoto Shishio, a successor to the title “Hitokiri Battosai” himself. Kenshin leaves his friends behind, encounters new people and fights against the Shishio clan. Caught between his destiny and his promise to never kill again, the curtain rises once again for the second season of Rurouni Kenshin, a story filled with the memories and feelings of all involved!

An anime adaptation of The Beginning After the End is coming to Crunchyroll in 2025. After a mysterious death, King Grey is reborn as Arthur Leywin on the magical continent of Dicathen. Although he enters his second life as a baby, his previous wisdom remains. He begins to master magic and forge his own path as the years go by, seeking to correct the mistakes of his past life.

Crunchyroll announced several titles coming soon to its streaming service around the world in 2025. Those titles include OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She’s Saying, Go For It, Nakamura-kun!, and I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic. Additionally, following the thrilling conclusion of HIGH CARD Season 2, it was confirmed that HIGH CARD Special Episode “THE FLOWERS BLOOM” will be coming to Crunchyroll on November 5. Trailers for ZENSHU and Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE were also released.

Cartoon Network and Max’s upcoming animated series Iyanu will premiere in Spring 2025. The series is a superhero tale set in the magical kingdom of Yorubaland, which draws from Nigerian culture, music and mythology. Netflix has renewed The Diplomat for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of the second season premiere, October 31. Production is currently underway, and will take place in London and New York City. Additional Season 3 details and additional information will be shared at a later time. In the upcoming second season, a deadly explosion in the heart of London shatters US Ambassador Kate Wyler’s world. Struggling to rebuild the lives that broke and the team that split apart, Kate’s worst fears unfold: The attack that brought her to the UK didn’t come from a rival nation, it came from inside the British government. As Kate chases the truth, her only real ally is her almost-ex-husband Hal Wyler, very much alive, and very much involved. She faces a fraught marriage, a complex dynamic with British Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison, and a threatening visit from Vice President Grace Penn.

Starz has canceled The Serpent Queen after two seasons.The series is based on the book “Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France” by Leonie Frieda. A spinoff series focusing on Queen Elizabeth I is in the works. 

Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a second season. An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. Dragon Ball DAIMA premieres October 11 on Crunchyroll with new episodes releasing every Friday. Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy! Season two of Deal or No Deal Island will return with Joe Manganiello as host and ultimate game master. Included in the crop of players for the new season are TV veterans Parvati Shallow, Dr. Will Kirby and David Genat. These familiar faces are no strangers to the high-stakes challenges and complex mind games they’ll face on the island. All three will bring their A-game, but have their work cut out for them among a cutthroat roster of fellow players. 

Acorn TV has ordered Irish Blood to series. It follows hot-shot Los Angeles divorce lawyer, Fiona Sharpe, who receives a letter from her estranged father and sets out to uncover the mystery of his disappearance. Alicia Silverstone will star in the six episode series. 

CBS made a small change to its schedule. An encore of the second episode of The Summit will air October 11 (9:00-10:30 PM, ET/PT), following the previously scheduled original episode of Big Brother. Ghosts will air a repeat at 10:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT.

Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season – until a body turns up on the beach. Matlock premieres September 22 on CBS before making its timeslot premiere October 10 with an encore of the premiere. Episode two will follow on October 17. Madeline (“Matty”) Matlock is not to be underestimated in this reimagining of matlock starring Kathy Bates. The drama is a fresh take on a legal procedural with an overarching mystery.

The final comedy special from Ellen DeGeneres, Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval, will premiere on Netflix September 24. For the first time in 6 years, Ellen gets personal and reveals what she’s been doing since being “kicked out of show business.” From the mundane world of raising chickens and parallel parking to the harsh reality of becoming a brand name celebrity, she goes deep into her stand-up roots and brings the laughs through life’s most real and absurd realities. 

Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay have been added to the upcoming third season of AMC’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon as series regulars. Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbués will recur as well in the season set in Spain. Season three follows Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier as they continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse. Season two will premiere on AMC September 29, while season three will premiere in 2025. 

Netflix has two new South African series coming soon. Blood Legacy delves into the world of the Spear Industries – a Multimillion-rand corporation as it embarks on the search for a new CEO after the patriarch, Bheki Ndlovu is unexpectedly murdered on the family property. Needless to say, family conflicts ensue as the Siblings, Khanyi Adesina, Mandla Ndlovu, and Siya Ndlovu navigate the murky waters of deadly corruption, family secrets and the mounting pressures of the Spear legacy. Reality series Love Never Lies: South Africa focuses on six couples who must test their trust with an eye-scanning lie detector. In this reality series, deception costs money, and the truth comes with a prize. The truth will be revealed when episodes premiere November 29. 

In honor of Star Trek Day, September 8, the premiere episodes of select Star Trek series and Short Treks will be available to watch for free in a special sampling occurring September 7-13. They will be available on Paramount+ partner platforms (Amazon, Apple, Roku), Paramount+’s Official YouTube page, Pluto TV and on the Paramount+ free content hub (US only).

Wynonna Earp: Vengeance is coming this fall on Tubi. The ninety minute special is a followup to the Syfy series Wynonna Earp. Wynonna Earp – spicy, hard-living, demon-slaying anti-heroine and great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp – must return, once again, to her hometown of Purgatory to battle her greatest foe yet: a psychotic villainess hellbent on revenge against Wynonna… and everyone she loves.

The final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks will premiere October 24 on Paramount+. In season five, the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is tasked with closing “space potholes” – subspace rifts which are causing chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. Pothole duty would be easy for Jr. Officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford…if they didn’t also have to deal with an Orion war, furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries and scariest of all: their own career aspirations. This upcoming season on Paramount+ is a celebration of this underdog crew who are dangerously close to being promoted out of the lower decks and into strange new Starfleet roles. 

Season two of Silo will premiere on Apple TV+ November 15. Based on Hugh Howey’s trilogy “Wool,” the series is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

Season three of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will premiere in 2025. Cillian O’Sullivan will recur as Dr. Roger Korby, a character first introduced in Star Trek: The Original Series and portrayed by Michael Strong. The series is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, Number One and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the starship, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy. 

The final season of Superman & Lois will premiere on The CW October 17. The premiere will feature two episodes back to back. 

Star Trek: Section 31 will premiere on Paramount+ in early 2025. Michelle Yeoh reprises her fan-favorite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou – a character she played in Star trek: Discovery’s first season – who joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past. 

The Penguin will premiere on HBO September 19. The eight-episode DC Studios drama series continues The Batman epic crime saga that filmmaker Matt Reeves began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ global blockbuster The Batman, and centers on the character played by Colin Farrell in the film. 

Futurama season twelve guest stars include Danny Trejo, Renée Victor, Tom Kenny, Ana Ortiz, Cara Delevingne, Tim Gunn, Bill Nye, Kyle Maclachlan, LeVar Burton, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. The new season will premiere July 29 on hulu. On this orbit around the sun, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender’s ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee. And, of course, the next chapter in Fry and Leela’s fateful, time-twisted romance. 

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy has added Tig Notaro, Oded Fehr, Mary Wiseman and Robert Picardo to its cast. The four will reprise their roles from previous Star Trek series. Notaro and Picardo join as series regulars reprising their roles as Jett Reno and The Doctor, and Fehr and Wiseman join as guest stars reprising their roles as Admiral Vance and Sylvia Tilly. 

Netflix has renewed Blood Of Zeus for a third and final season. The season will continue the story of Heron, Seraphim and the gods. In the new season they will face their most dangerous adversaries yet, Typhon, Cronus and the Titans. 

Mary Holland and Dean Norris are set to guest star in the upcoming new season of Ghosts. Season four will premiere October 17 on CBS. Holland will play Patience, the ghost of a Puritan woman who died in the late 1600s. Norris will play Sam’s dad Frank, who arrives at Woodstone for his first visit in years, along with his new girlfriend.

Hulu’s Family Guy Halloween special will premiere October 14. The Halloween special will feature Glen Powell as “Patrick McCloskey,” the reigning champion in Quahog’s annual Pumpkin Contest, and Derek Jacobi as “Rupert,” Stewie’s beloved teddy bear. The special is the first of two Hulu Exclusive holiday specials. Peter and his friends aim to unseat the reigning champion in Quahog’s annual Pumpkin Contest by any means necessary. 

The upcoming third season of adult swim’s My Adventures With Superman will feature the first appearance of Superboy. The new season will also continue to feature Supergirl who was introduced in the second season which recently finished airing. 

The upcoming season of Abbott Elementary will feature a crossover with another series. No word on which series will take part in the event. 

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc will premiere on adult swim’s Toonami August 10. The series streams on Crunchyroll. 

A live action Star Trek comedy series is in the works. Justin Simien and Tawny Newsome are co-writing the project along with Alex Kurtzman. 

Netflix has ordered Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom. The series will be a gripping, edgy narrative set against the backdrop of a fantastical kingdom with bloody action and spectacular visuals. Filming for the series commences soon. 

Pluto TV will be launching an exclusive WOW – Women Of Wrestling channel dedicated to the premier all-female sports entertainment property. Just in time for season three, which is scheduled to launch in syndication the weekend of September 14, fans can head to a dedicated WOW channel to watch their favorite WOW Superheroes hit the ring and catch up on all the drama, including intense rivalries, strong alliances and epic high-energy matches.

Michael C. Hall’s is set to return to the Dexter franchise in two series for Paramount+ with Showtime. Hall will return as Dexter Morgan in both series – he will star in Dexter: Resurrection set in the present day and narrate the inner voice of a young Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) in Dexter: Original Sin which takes place in the 90s.

Season two of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol premieres September 29 on AMC. The new season picks up where season one left off, following fan-favorite characters Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier. They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest. Additionally, Genet’s movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.

Minnie Driver will serve as the voice of Oswalda Cobblepot aka The Penguin in Batman: Caped Crusader. Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human – the BATMAN. The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy premieres August 8 on Netflix. The Hargreeves siblings have scattered after the climactic showdown at the Hotel Oblivion led to a complete reset of their timeline. Stripped of their powers, each is left to fend for themselves and find a new normal – with wildly varying degrees of success. Yet the trappings of their uncanny new world prove too hard to ignore for very long. Their father Reginald, alive and well, has stepped out of the shadows and into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire. A mysterious association known as The Keepers holds clandestine meetings believing the reality they’re living in is a lie and a great reckoning is coming. As these strange new forces conspire around them, the Umbrella Academy must come together one last time – and risk upsetting the shaky peace they’ve all endured so much to secure – to finally set things right. 

Dance Moms: A New Era will premiere August 7 on hulu. The series is a reboot of the ever so popular Dance Moms. This time, with a new coach, new dancers and new mama drama. Introducing beloved dance coach, Glo Hampton, who wants to take her students and prestigious dance school Studio Bleu to the next level – competing nationally every week. But the road to glory won’t be an easy one. Coach Glo must juggle her tiny but mighty dancers, their scheming moms, and ensuing meltdowns, all while ruling with a tender but tough iron fist. Will Glo and her dance team persevere amidst the dramatics? 

Season three of From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke premieres August 1 on Netflix. What do you do once you’re a couple? Although she struggles with her blossoming feelings, Sawako comes to terms with herself and tells Kazehaya how she feels about him. Attracted by Sawako’s unnoticed efforts and genuine personality, Kazehaya also candidly makes his feelings known. Thus, their new relationship begins. Their first date, their school life together, joy, embarrassment and new struggles – everything is fresh and new as the couple awkwardly and gradually learns more about one another, all while their friends’ love stories begin to take shape as well. This bittersweet and poignant story of young people, woven from their romantic feelings and dear friendships, begins once more.

Time Bandits premieres on Apple TV+ July 24 with the first two episodes. The series is and adaptation of the beloved cult classic movie by the same name. It is an unpredictable journey through time and space with a ragtag group of thieves and their newest recruit: an 11-year-old history buff named Kevin. Together they set out on a thrilling quest to save the boy’s parents – and the world. Guided by Lisa Kudrow, the eccentric crew of bandits embark on epic adventures while evil forces threaten their conquests and life as they know it. As the group is transported through time and space, the gang stumbles upon fascinating worlds of the distant past while seeking out treasure, depending on Kevin to shed light on each situation. The “Time Bandits” witness the creation of Stonehenge, see the Trojan Horse in action, escape dinosaurs in the prehistoric age, wreak havoc during medieval times, experience the Ice Age, ancient civilizations and the Harlem Renaissance, and much more along the way. 

Season six of Too Hot to Handle premieres July 19 on Netflix. For the first time ever this year’s naughty nymphos think they know what they signed up for, but retreat warden LANA has some tricks up her sleeve with a new prize, new twists and some old, familiar faces. That’s not all…S6 introduces brand new sidekick ‘BAD LANA’ who is guaranteed to stir up some trouble. 

Landman premieres November 17 on Paramount+ with the first two episodes. Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, the series is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown”, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics. 

Lamorne Morris has been cast in the upcoming Spider-Man series Spider-Noir as Robbie Robertson. He joins Nicolas Cage in the MGM+ and Prime Video series which tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero. 

Ellen Pompeo is set to make more appearances on the upcoming 21st season of Grey’s Anatomy. She previously stepped back from the ABC series to film the upcoming hulu limited series Natalia. Pompeo will appear in at least seven episodes, with the possibility of more. 

“Big Brother Artificial Intelligence,” known as “BB AI,” is taking over the House and the theme will deliver the most unpredictable season for Houseguests. In a special two-night premiere, Big Brother kicks off season 26 on July 17 and July 18 on CBS. More information including the all-new cast of Houseguests will be announced soon! 

Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard and George Hawkins have been cast in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The three will play cadets in the Paramount+ series. They join previously announced cast members Holly Hunter as the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy and Paul Giamatti as the season’s villain. The series introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself. 

Netflix has rounded out the cast for its upcoming series Sirens. Joining the cast of the limited series are Josh Segarra, Felix Solis, Trevor Salter, Britne Oldford, Lauren Weedman and Jenn Lyon. They join previously announced cast Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock, Glenn Howerton and Kevin Bacon. Devon thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. When Devon tracks her sister down to say WTF, she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class. 

Big Freedia Means Business premieres October 2 on Fuse. Special guests this season include Sheryl Lee Ralph, Tamar Braxton, Billy Porter, Cimafunk and Macy Gray In season two, Freedia and her business team go all in on thriving ventures like Royal Bud, Shade Sunglasses and the Big Freedia Hotel, while she has her eyes set on conquering new genres in the entertainment industry. Her hustle is off the charts even when a business venture is off the rails. Freedia pulls back the curtains on what it takes to run multiple booming businesses, including some that need more attention. On top of managing her budding empire, Freedia is also putting in the work on a gospel album and reveals plans to write a children’s book. 

Prime Video has renewed Deadloch for a second season. The first season, set in Tasmania, saw two very different detectives thrown together to solve the murder of a man. Season Two heads to the Top End of Australia and sees the return of Kate Box and Madeleine Sami as Dulcie Collins and Eddie Redcliffe. The detective duo are in Darwin investigating the death of Eddie’s former policing partner, Bushy, but when the bodies of two Top End icons are discovered in a remote town, they are flung into a new sweatier, stickier investigation. Also reprising their roles are Nina Oyama as Abby Matsuda and Alicia Gardiner as Cath York, Dulcie’s wife. 

AXS TV’s New Japan Pro-Wrestling returns to Thursday nights, kicking off with El Desperado vs Sho in a steel cage match for the IWGP Jr. Title on July 11. The roster kicks off with two weeks of episodes highlighting the absolute best moments from the global icon’s New Japan Soul event, followed by seven weeks of exclusive G1 CLIMAX 34 coverage.

Hosted by Serena Williams, the star-studded ceremony will recognize major athletic achievements, relive unforgettable moments, honor leading athletes, and feature exciting musical performances.
