Season three of Paramount+’s The Challenge: All Stars will feature contestants to have qualified for or won a “Challenge” final, highlighting the franchise’s fiercest competitors from every era of the show. The new season premieres May 11 with back to back episodes. The new season will reignite old rivalries and spark new ones as these power players navigate a series of grueling challenges and eliminations, along with some unexpected twists and turns from host T.J. Lavin, as they fight to earn the chance to run the Final and take home their share of $500,000. With so much on the line, this season’s All Stars are about to take the game to an all-new level.

Showtime has ordered a new limited series titled Fellow Travelers. The series is based on the novel by Thomas Mallon and will star Matt Bomer. The series is an epic love story and political thriller, chronicling the volatile romance of two very different men who meet in the shadow of McCarthy-era Washington. Bomer will play handsome, charismatic Hawkins Fuller, who maintains a financially rewarding, behind-the scenes career in politics. Hawkins avoids emotional entanglements – until he meets Tim Laughlin, a young man brimming with idealism and religious faith. They begin a romance just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants,” initiating one of the darkest periods in 20th-century American history. Over the course of four decades, Hawk and Tim cross paths through the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the drug-fueled disco hedonism of the 1970s and the AIDS crisis of the 1980s, while facing obstacles in the world and in themselves.

The fourth season of National Geographic’s Genius will now be titled Genius: MLK/X. The new season will focus not only on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as previously announced, but also Malcolm X. The Disney+ series will explore the formative years, pioneering accomplishments, dueling philosophies and key personal relationships of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. While King advanced racial equality through nonviolent protest, Malcolm X argued forcefully for Black empowerment, identity and self-determination. With their formidable wives, Coretta Scott King and Betty Shabazz, by their sides, King and Malcolm X became synonymous with the civil rights era and the fight for racial and economic justice. While they met only once and often challenged each other’s views, neither would have been as successful without the other.

Jessica Alba and Lizzy Mathis are set to co-host Honest Renovations for The Roku Channel. The eight episode series will bring a bold twist to the home improvement genre, following Alba and Mathis as they help deserving families complete the home renovations of their dreams and confront issues about parenting through candid conversations.

Brandon Larracuente and Savannah Welch have been cast on ABC’s The Good Doctor as new interns. They will make their first appearances in the recently renewed sixth season. They will recur heavily, similar to recent additions to the series who eventually became series regulars.

Netflix has announced the cast for its upcoming new series My Life with the Walter Boys. The coming-of-age romance series will star Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry, Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Zoë Soul, Corey Fogelmanis, and Jaylan Evans. Recurring cast includes Dean Petriw, Lennix James, Alix West Lefler, Alisha Newton, Ashley Tavares, Moheb Jindran, Ellie O’Brien, Mya Lowe, and Gabrielle Jacinto. Following the loss of her family in a tragic accident, 15-year old Manhattanite Jackie Howard has to learn to adapt to a new life in rural Colorado with her guardian – and 10 very rowdy boys.

Shantel VanSanten will recur in the final four FBI episodes of the season. VanSanten recently guest starred in a recent episode of the CBS series. She will fill in for Missy Peregrym while she is on maternity leave.

Erika Christensen has been cast in ABC’s Will Trent drama pilot. She will star opposite Ramón Rodríguez in the potential series.

Amid the news of Netflix losing subscribers and the stock value plummeting, Netflix has quietly canceled animated series in the works. Bone based on Jeff Smith’s comic has been canceled as well as Toil and Trouble from Lauren Faust. The Twits based on Roald Dahl’s story will no longer be a series, possibly now a film.

Apple TV+ has ordered preschool animated series Sago Mini Friends. The series will be based on the childrens app Sago Mini World.

Matilda Lawler has joined the cast of Disney+’s The Santa Clause. The limited series also stars Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, Kal Penn, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, Austin Kane, Rupali Redd and Devin Bright.

Evangeline Young has been cast in ABC’s The Son In Law pilot. She will star opposite Chris Sullivan, Reema Sampat, Meera Simhan and Anupam Kher.

The History Channel’s new series The American Presidency with Bill Clinton will premiere May 30 in time for Memorial Day. The six episode series is hosted, and executive produced by President Bill Clinton and explores the history of the American presidency and the struggle for a more perfect union. It will feature expert commentary from renowned authors, historians and witnesses to history including Pulitzer Prize-winners Jon Meacham and Annette Gordon Reed, as well as Dr. Douglas Brinkley, Dr. Edna Medford Green, Dr. H.W. Brands and George Takei. Each episode takes on a different theme in American history: race, extremism, the struggle for rights, presidential vision, global power, and economic might.

Season one of the Netflix Series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 will be reborn as a feature-length theatrical animation complete with new scenes and a full re-color grading of all shots. It will premiere May 9.

Showtime’s docuseries Couples Therapy will return with season three May 13. The series follows world-renowned psychologist and psychoanalyst Dr. Orna Guralnik as she guides couples through real-life therapy sessions. Season one of Welcome to Eden will premiere on Netflix May 6. A group of young adults attend a party on a remote island, but the supposed paradise they find waiting for them is anything but. What if the trip of your life means not coming back home?

Apple TV+’s natural history event series Prehistoric Planet will premiere May 23. The five episode season will premiere new episodes daily through May 27. The series will transport viewers 66 million years in the past to discover our world – and the dinosaurs that roamed it.

The latest installment of HBO’s series Entre Nos will premiere May 6 on HBO Max and HBO Latino. Entre Nos: Carmen and Alfred.
