ABC has renewed five series for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Returning are 9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy, The Rookie, Shifting Gears, and Will Trent. Still on the bubble is Doctor Odyssey.

Season two of Nine Perfect Strangers will premiere May 21 on hulu. Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself. Season two of FUBAR premieres June 12 on Netflix. Luke Brunner is a veteran CIA operative who, up until recently, was on the verge of retirement. The special was filmed at The Beacon Theater in NYC.

Castle Impossible premieres April 29 on HGTV. High school sweethearts and married couple, Daphne Reckert and Ian Figueira, will abandon their plans of living in a California tiny home when Daphne inherits her late grandfather’s 500-year-old chateau on a 130-acre estate just outside of Paris, France. While the main floor of the sprawling property – which once welcomed guests like King Louis XIII – provides a steady income stream hosting weddings, the young couple will take on the incredibly daunting task of restoring the remaining dilapidated floors and buildings on the grounds, utilizing their carpentry, conservation and landscaping expertise, as well as their families’ backgrounds in construction, design and renovation. With passion, determination and grit, Daphne and Ian will confront budget constraints, battle bug infestations, hunt for rumored hidden treasure and tackle a seemingly endless list of projects head-on to breathe new life into the historic estate and preserve her grandfather’s legacy.

Netflix has canceled Unstable after two seasons. Season two saw Ellis lay out a series of challenges and mind games for Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?

Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Tim Key, and Eric Rahill have been cast in the upcoming The Office followup series. They join Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei and Ramona Young in the Peacock series.

ABC has made adjustments to its fall schedule. Monday Night Football will continue simulcasting on Monday nights. Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune, Press Your Luck and What Would You Do? were previously scheduled to air that night. What Would You Do? will now air Wednesdays at 10, pushing previously scheduled Scamanda to midseason. Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune, and Press Your Luck will also now air in midseason.

Ariana Grande is set to host Saturday Night Live October 12 on NBC. She will be joined by musical guest Stevie Nicks on the late night series.

A Thousand Blows premieres on hulu in 2025. The series follows Hezekiah Moscow, who finds himself thrust into the vibrant and violent melting pot of post-industrial revolution London’s East End from Jamaica. Drawn into the criminal underbelly of the thriving boxing scene, he meets Mary Carr, leader of The Forty Elephants – the notorious all-female London gang – as they battle for survival on the streets. As Hezekiah sharpens his new skills, he comes up against Sugar Goodson, a seasoned and dangerous boxer and the two are soon locked into an intense rivalry that spills out way beyond the ring.

Reba McEntire has teamed up with renowned songwriter Carole King and written the show’s theme song for her upcoming new NBC comedy, Happy’s Place. The series stars Reba McEntire as her character, Bobbie, inherits her father’s tavern (Happy’s Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo, a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had. The series also stars Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn.

Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus are attached to the upcoming The Big Bang Theory spinoff series set at Max. The three appeared in the original series and will reprise their roles.

This month, ABC will air a ghostly lineup of Halloween-themed episodes and festive films. The spine-tingling new episodes include 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary, Dancing with the Stars and Doctor Odyssey, and broadcast television debuts of fan favorites Haunted Mansion (2023) and Hocus Pocus 2

Limited series Death by Lightning will premiere on Netflix in 2025. The series brings to life the epic and stranger-than-fiction true story of James Garfield, reluctant 20th president of the United States, and his greatest admirer Charles Guiteau – the man who would come to kill him.

The Cage premieres on Netflix November 8. Dreaming of going pro, a young fighter struggles to be seen until an unexpected combat lands him a shot at the big time – and a brutal rival in the cage. It is the entertaining and aspirational hero’s journey of an outsider in the sensational world of MMA.

Docuseries Investigation Alien premieres on Netflix November 8. The series follows renowned investigative journalist, George Knapp, as he reveals the findings of his 30-year quest investigating UFOs and brings forward never before seen evidence.

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition premieres on Disney+ October 18. Find your inner hero one piece at a time.

ABC has renewed 9-1-1 and Grey’s Anatomy for new seasons. 9-1-1 will return for season eight, its second on ABC. The series explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders – including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers – who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. Grey’s Anatomy will return for a 21st season. The series follows a team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.

My Hero Academia returns this spring on Crunchyroll starting with My Hero Academia: Memories April 6. The four episodes will look back at past moments with new scenes leading into the seventh season, premiering May 4. An English dub will also be released at a later date.

Bodkin premieres May 9 on Netflix. The seven episode series is a dark comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in a quaint, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction – about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves – the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman returns with a special episode April 30 on Netflix. David Letterman interviews John Mulaney where Mulaney returns to his Chicago high school with David Letterman as they candidly discuss fatherhood, the life of stand-up comedy and addiction. Combining humor, curiosity and in-depth conversations with extraordinary people, the series has Letterman back in the host’s chair, following a 33-year reign in late night.

Going Home with Tyler Cameron premieres on Prime Video April 18. The series stars reality TV star and former The Bachelorette heartthrob Tyler Cameron as he follows his dream of starting his own construction and home renovation company. After the sudden loss of his mother, Tyler moved back to his hometown, Jupiter, Florida, to reunite with his family and finally achieve his goal of launching his business, Image One. With the help of his team members – house-flipping expert, Robb Ritch, and Miami-based interior designer, Jessica Quintero – Tyler builds his company from the ground up, exceeding his clients’ expectations one home renovation at a time. As the projects get bigger, better and more complex, Tyler navigates the challenges of entrepreneurship, demonstrating his growth and resilience. Leaning on his tight-knit community for support, the series features appearances from familiar faces, including former Bachelor Nation stars Matt James, Rachael Kirkconnell, Jason Tartick, and even The Bachelorette who once captured his heart, Hannah Brown. With each episode ending in the exciting reveal of Image One’s latest stunning remodel, the season culminates in the most important undertaking of them all – turning the house that Tyler’s late mom left behind into the family home that she always dreamed of.

High Hopes premieres on hulu April 20. The workplace reality series follows Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka, and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights. As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, MMD attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their OG employees who work hard and smoke harder! This season builds to their biggest day of the year – 4.20 – as the gang attempts to expand nationwide and release their own top-shelf cannabis brand. Will they find what they’re looking for or will their hopes go up in smoke?

Game Show Network has greenlit three new strip series, Beat The Bridge, based on the popular UK format, to be hosted by Cameron Mathison and revived classic Tic Tac Dough hosted by the incomparable Brooke Burns. Both shows are scheduled to air this summer. Recently announced Flip Side hosted by Jaleel White is the new syndicated game show premiering in syndication and concurrently on Game Show Network this fall.

Sherri has been renewed for a third season. The syndicated talk show hosted by Sherri Shepherd brings her inimitable, authentic and comedic perspective to daytime. She offers her comedic take on the day’s entertainment news, pop culture, and trending topics with the daytime audience.

Gracie Lawrence has been cast in the upcoming third season of The Sex Lives of College Girls. Lawrence will be a series regular on the Max series following the departure of Reneé Rapp.

Teri Polo has been cast on FBI: International. She will potentially appear beyond this season should the CBS series be renewed.

The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air January 5, 2025 on CBS. Nominations for will be announced on December 9. The January 2025 broadcast begins a five-year deal to broadcast the awards show on CBS.

Music Mayhem premieres on AXS TV April 15. The series cuts past the fame, glamour, and larger-than-life personas to shed light on the sordid landscape of rock n’ roll. The inaugural season presents 12 30-minute episodes, where a rotating panel of artists and experts share the gritty details behind some of rock’s most bitter feuds, crazy couples, inspiring redemption stories, unconventional collaborations, the 27 Club, and so much more. On hand to provide insight into each week’s subjects is a slate of industry insiders and aficionados, including fan-favorite music expert Matt Pinfield, music journalist Lyndsey Parker, and Vixen guitarist Britt Lightning, as well as TV and radio personalities Kat Corbett, Nicole Alvarez, Mayra Dias Gomes, Josh Bernstein, Caity Babs, Steve Covino, and Greg Beharrell, among others.

The momentous milestone of the world’s #1 TV franchise includes counts of all the aired episodes of NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, NCIS: Sydney, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans combined.

Season two of Jane premieres April 19 on Apple TV+. The five episode mission-driven series for kids and families is inspired by the work of world-renowned ethologist and conservationist, Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a United Nations Messenger of Peace. Ava Louise Murchison stars as Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg, and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

When the tyrannical Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, polar opposites Red and Chloe must join forces and travel back in time to undo the traumatic event that set Red’s mother down her villainous path.
