After graduating from the University of Michigan, he was selected as the ninth overall pick in the 1981 NFL Draft by the LA Rams. Following his retirement from football, Owens transitioned into a career in law and moved to Orange County, California, dedicating himself to helping others – particularly those seeking justice for sports-related injuries. It was during this time that he met his first love, and together they had two sons. While life took an unexpected turn with the passing of his father and the end of his marriage, Owens channeled his energy into being the best father he could be, focusing on raising his sons and coaching their extracurricular sports teams. Now, after several years as a devoted dad, Owens is ready to rediscover a love rooted in the simple joys of companionship – sharing life’s everyday moments, making plans for the future, and growing stronger together as a couple. Hulu has renewed Only Murders In The Building for a fifth season. The new season will consist of ten episodes. The fourth season is currently airing with the third episode set to premiere next week.

Grotesquerie premieres on FX September 25. A series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois Tryon feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone – or something – is taunting her. With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of Sister Megan. However, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers.

MONSTERS: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story premieres September 19 on Netflix. The series chronicles the case of the real-life brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez. While the prosecution argued they were seeking to inherit their family fortune, the brothers claimed – and remain adamant to this day, as they serve life sentences without the possibility of parole – that their actions stemmed out of fear from a lifetime of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of their parents. It dives into the historic case that took the world by storm, paved the way for audiences’ modern-day fascination with true crime, and in return asks those audiences: Who are the real monsters?

Season two of Colin from Accounts premieres on Paramount+ September 26 with all eight episodes. The series is a romantic comedy about flawed, funny people choosing each other and embracing the all-too-relatable chaos of modern life. After Gordon and Ashley are brought together in season one by a spontaneous nipple flash and the subsequent accident that injured the titular (no pun intended) dog, season two of the hit series opens with Ash and Gordon now living together and trying to get their beloved, special needs dog, Colin, back from his new owners. It’s the first in a series of hurdles for the new couple as they find out more about each other, for better and worse.

La Máquina premieres on hulu October 9 with all six episodes. After a devastating loss, Esteban “La Máquina” Osuna (Gael García Bernal) is at a low point in his boxing career. Lucky for him, his manager and best friend Andy Lujan (Diego Luna) is determined to get him back on top. But when a nefarious organization rears its head, the stakes of this rematch become life or death. While struggling to mount a comeback, Esteban must also juggle his own personal demons and protect his family, including his ex-wife Irasema (Eiza González), a journalist who finds herself on a collision course with the dark side of the boxing world.

Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Live September 17 on ABC and Disney+. Danny Amendola, Anna Delvey, Joey Graziadei, Dwight Howard, Chandler Kinney, Ilona Maher, Brooks Nader, Phaedra Parks, Eric Roberts, Tori Spelling, Jenn Tran and Reginald VelJohnson join previously announced celebrity Stephen Nedoroscik.

Netflix is developing Midnight Sun as an animated series. It is an adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s novel and a retelling of Twilight from Edward Cullen’s perspective.

A Reacher spinoff series is in the works. Neagley would potentially focus on the character Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten on the Prime Video series. She is an ally and former colleague of Jack Reacher who helps him when he is in need.

Nicholas Denton has been cast as the lead of The Talamasca, the third series in its expanding Anne Rice Immortal Universe, a drama focused on a secretive society called The Talamasca. The six-episode season will focus on the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe. It will premiere on AMC in 2025.

Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, Clarke Peters, and Bill Pullman are set to star in The Boroughs, an upcoming Netflix supernatural mystery series. In a seemingly picturesque retirement community, a group of unlikely heroes must band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing the one thing they don’t have… time.

CBS announced the 18 new castaways who will compete against each other when the iconic reality series premieres its 47th edition with a two-hour episode on September 18. The groundbreaking series, which shifts to 90-minute weekly episodes beginning September 25, returns with a notable new crop of competitors hoping to leave their mark on the game. It continues to be the ultimate test of physical and mental stamina as a new group of castaways begins the adventure of a lifetime while stranded on the stunning islands of Fiji. This latest group of competitors must form a new society and adapt to their physical and social surroundings while contending with unexpected obstacles and navigating an ever-evolving social game. The participants will be divided into three tribes of six and face a twist-packed season from the moment they step on the beach. The moral dilemmas and extreme situations will test even the strongest competitor, and the mental and physical challenges require players to constantly fine-tune their strategies to survive another day. The players competing on the 47th season – including a flight school owner, an ER doctor and an AI research assistant – are fans from diverse backgrounds and bring fresh perspectives to this new era of the game. And in the end, only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize.

Season seven of The Circle premieres on Netflix September 11 with weekly episode releases. New twists. Same game. Catfish, connections and chaos await as new influencers enter the chat and compete for a huge cash prize. The final episode will begin streaming October 2.
