Lazarus premieres on adult swim’s Toonami April 5 at midnight. From anime legend Shinichirō Watanabe (“Cowboy Bebop”), the series follows secret agents hunting for a vaccine to save humanity. The series will air in English, with new episodes available the next day on Max. English-language encore airings will debut every Thursday at midnight beginning April 10. Episodes in Japanese with English subtitles will debut in the U.S. on Adult Swim and Max 30 days after their English-language premiere. The year is 2052. The world seemed to be on the verge of unprecedented peace and stability, and the painkiller drug “Hapna” developed by a lauded neuroscientist Dr. Skinner has had a lot to do with it. Pervasive throughout the world with no known side effects, Hapna is said to have freed humanity from pain. But then, Skinner suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth. Three years later, he re-emerges as a prophet who brings countless deaths and the end of civilization. Hapna is designed with a fatal, retroactive effect, which manifests three years after ingestion, even by those who have only taken it once. Just thirty days remain until humanity is doomed to extinction. The only way to save the world is to get the cure that only Skinner knows. For that we must first find him. “Lazarus” is a team of five agents gathered from various corners of the world to do just that. Can they save humanity? And what is Skinner’s true purpose?

The final season of Bosch: Legacy premieres March 27 on Prime Video with the first four episodes. Two new episodes will air each week until the series finale on April 17. The third season is based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels Desert Star (2022) and The Black Ice (1993). The murder investigation of Kurt Dockweiler brings dangerous secrets to light and threatens to ruin the lives of our three principal characters. The disappearance of a family haunts Harry Bosch and forces him to confront the limits of justice. In a hotly contested race, Honey “Money” Chandler is poised to become the next District Attorney of Los Angeles. And Maddie Bosch gets entangled in a series of violent follow-home robberies.

Season two of The Rehearsal premieres April 20 on HBO. The series follows one man’s journey to reduce the uncertainties of everyday life. With a construction crew, a legion of actors, and seemingly unlimited resources, Fielder helps ordinary people prepare for life’s biggest moments by “rehearsing” them in carefully crafted simulations of his own design. In season two, the urgency of Fielder’s project grows as he decides to put his resources toward an issue that affects us all.

Devil May Cry premieres April 3 on Netflix. When a mysterious villain threatens to open the gates of Hell, a devilishly handsome demon hunter could be the world’s best hope for salvation. Thirst trap demon-hunter for hire, Dante (Johnny Yong Bosch), shows off his unparalleled skills in the areas of demon-hunting and quippy one-liners.

Fox has renewed Next Level Chef for two more seasons. The network also ordered a spinoff, Next Level Baker. The new series will test the skills of bakers as they are challenged to create eye-popping, festive holiday delights across the franchise’s three iconic levels. During the new series’ four special hours, only one baker will rise to the top and claim the holiday baking crown.

Pokémon Concierge returns for new episodes September on Netflix. The adorable stop-motion animation series returns with four new episodes, inviting viewers back to the Pokémon Resort – a vibrant haven where Pokémon come to relax and enjoy. The story follows Haru, a concierge at the Pokémon Resort, as she grows through her interactions with Pokémon guests and learns valuable life lessons along the way.

Disney Jr. has renewed Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends for a fifth season. The series is the first full-length Marvel preschool series. Season three is currently airing on Disney Jr., with some episodes available on Disney+. Season four is set to debut this summer and will introduce a new “Water-Webs” storyline where Team Spidey receives new water-themed powers and pirate suits. All episodes of seasons one and two are available to stream on Disney+.

Production has begun on HBO’s Lanterns. The series follows new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland. The series stars Aaron Pierre, Kyle Chandler, Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, and Ulrich Thomsen. It is based on the iconic DC title “Green Lantern.”

Oscar Nuñez will appear in Peacock’s upcoming The Office followup series. He played Oscar Martinez in the original series and the new series will be set at a new business in the same universe.

Apple TV+ has renewed Where’s Wanda? for a second season. The Klatts are back! Just as they thought their lives were finally returning to normal, their daughter Wanda is caught seemingly red-handed, standing over a dead body. They will need to do everything in their power to prove her innocence and avoid losing her again, as their investigation to find the real murderer takes them into the criminal underbelly of their sleepy suburban town. But will their quest to protect their family get them all out of trouble, or ultimately lead them further astray? And can they find out the truth of what happened on that fateful day before it’s too late?

Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan have joined the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Bower will be a series regular, while Marsan will appear in a recurring role in the third season of the Prime Video series.

Bravo’s Southern Hospitality returns to the Clubhouse for a supersized Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen reunion on March 6, immediately after the season three finale. Andy Cohen is joined by Mia Alario, Joe Bradley, Leva Bonaparte, Bradley Carter, TJ Dinch, Grace Lilly, Molly Moore, Michols Peña, Maddi Reese, Lake Rucker, Emmy Sharrett, and Austin Stephan to reflect on an emotional season that left the group’s friendships more challenged than ever before.

ESPN will launch a brand new daily SportsCenter show, SC+, on March 3, exclusively on Disney+. The fast-paced update will highlight each day’s top sports moments, stories, insights and exclusive commentary in a more concise and streamlined format. The series will be built around the highly popular “SC Top 10” daily countdown of sports moments. The program will deliver the most important sports news stories of the day, complemented by insights from ESPN’s top insiders and reporters.

Season two of The Never Ever Mets premieres April 4 on OWN. The dynamic new season features seven new couples who have built strong love connections online but have never met in person. Now, they’ll spend three weeks together in a lush LA villa to see if their virtual chemistry translates to real life. As they take their relationships to the next level, shocking secrets and bombshell revelations bring into question whether their love stories can survive off the screen. As the couples finally meet face to face and settle in, they soon discover they have a lot more to learn about each other. Reprising her role as host and relationship sensei, Jones leads the couples through fun dates and bonding activities each week. Designed to test their physical and emotional connections, each exercise also reveals new insight about their partners. For some, major secrets and red flags call for a couple’s session with an expert, while for others a night (or two!) in the Intimacy Suite seals the deal. With no filters, some relationships heat up while others cool down. Whose love will deepen, and who will go home single?

Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years premieres March 14 on hulu. In what might be his most personal and introspective hour yet, Bill offers hilarious takes on everything from male sadness to dating advice.

Stadium Lockup premieres March 19 on A&E. Protecting the thousands of fans visiting the stadium on game days is a highly trained force of nearly 1,000 brave and dedicated men and women from law enforcement, multiple private security agencies as well as medics with a nearby hospital. All fans purchasing a ticket agree to abide by the Stadium’s strict code of conduct and agree to being recorded but often, with tensions running high on and off the field, the security team is faced with a multitude of issues. The series provides unprecedented access to the stadium’s command center where approximately 500 CCTV cameras are monitored in real time by the staff. Whether it’s unruly disputes, disorderly conduct, life-saving efforts, or heartfelt reunions with lost children – viewers get a behind the scenes look as officers and medics are dispatched on hundreds of calls. Each game day is unpredictable and although law enforcement and security try to de-escalate every situation, there are 4 holding cells on the property, and if fans break the strict code of conduct, they risk being ejected or worse… get a one-way ticket to stadium lockup.

Season two of Love Is Blind: Sweden premieres March 13 on Netflix. Singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them. Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding, and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the pods. When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with? Hosted by Jessica Almenäs, this addictive series will uncover whether love really is blind.

Number One on the Call Sheet premieres March 28 on Apple TV+. With unprecedented access and candid interviews, it takes us on an intimate journey with some of Hollywood’s most extraordinary leading Black men and women as they shine a light on the joys and challenges of being a Black actor, share breakthrough moments, discuss blueprints for success and honor legends, while recognizing the next generation’s enormous potential.

Fox has announced its upcoming programming slate for the 2023-2024 season. No schedule was announced as the network waits to see what happens with the ongoing writers strike. Fox has a slew of unscripted programming which could be implemented for the fall schedule should they not be able to film scripted series. The network announced six new series along with five series returning for season two, and thirteen additional series returning.

New series include the previously announced dramas Rescue: HI-Surf and Doc, animated comedies Krapopolis and Grimsburg, and game show Snake Oil. Also newly ordered is a music guessing game show We Are Family, hosted by Jamie Foxx with co-host Corinne Foxx.

Returning for season two are Accused, Alert: Missing Persons, Animal Control, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and Farmer Wants a Wife.

Also returning are 9-1-1: Lone Star, Bob’s Burgers, The Cleaning Lady, Family Guy, The Great North, Hell’s Kitchen, I Can See Your Voice, LEGO Masters, The Masked Singer, Name That Tune, Next Level Chef, and The Simpsons.

Gordon Ramsay’s series Kitchen Nightmares will be returning for an all new season after years off the air.

Multi night holiday event LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular will be returning.

Additional series renewals, including the fate of comedy series Welcome To Flatch, are still to be announced.

FOX’s new dramas include:

Based on the globally acclaimed Italian series, Doc — Nelle tue mani, which was created and is produced by Lux Vide, a Fremantle Company, and featured Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Grannò of The White Lotus, FOX’s Doc is a new medical drama centered on the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience. Doc is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment Studios. Barbie Kligman serves as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Hank Steinberg (Channel Road Productions) and Erwin Stoff (3 Arts Entertainment) are Executive Producers. Created by Francesco Arlanch and Viola Rispoli, Doc — Nelle tue mani debuted in Italy on Rai 1 in 2020, where it ranked as the network’s #1 series premiere since 2007. Since then, the series format has been sold in 12 countries with seven versions already made.

From prolific, award-winning executive producer/director John Wells (Shameless, The West Wing, ER) and executive producer/writer Matt Kester (Animal Kingdom, Outsiders), pulse-pounding Hawaii lifeguard drama Rescue: HI-Surf follows the personal and professional lives of the heavy-water lifeguards who patrol and protect the North Shore of O’ahu – the most famous and dangerous stretch of coastline in the world. Each episode will feature these dedicated, heroic, and adrenaline-seeking first-responders saving lives in the difficult and often life-threatening conditions of Hawaii’s Seven Mile Miracle. Rescue: HI-Surf is co-produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment Studios. Matt Kester created the series. Kester, John Wells and Daniele Nathanson are Executive Producers and co-Showrunners. Erin Jontow (John Wells Productions) is also an Executive Producer. Kester will write the first episode, and Wells will direct the first two episodes.

FOX’s new animated comedies include:

From Emmy Award-winning creator Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community) comes Krapopolis, an animated series like no other. Set in mythical Ancient Greece, the series centers on a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters that tries to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other. The series’ voice cast features Emmy Award winner Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel). In the series, Ayoade voices “Tyrannis,”the mortal son of a goddess. He’s the self-involved, narcissistic King of Krapopolis trying to make do in a city that lives up to its name. Waddingham plays “Deliria,” Tyrannis’ mother, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Within her extended Olympian family – forged in patricide and infidelity – she’s known as the trashy one. Berry is “Shlub,” Tyrannis’ father, a mantitaur (half centaur [horse + human], half manticore [lion + human + scorpion]). He is oversexed and underemployed, claims to be an artist and has literally never paid for anything, in any sense of that word, for his entire life. Murphy voices “Stupendous,” Tyrannis’ half-sister, daughter of Deliria and a cyclops. Trussell plays “Hippocampus,” Tyrannis’ half-brother, offspring of Shlub and a mermaid, and, obviously, a hot mess, biologically speaking. Krapopolis is owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by Bento Box Entertainment. Dan Harmon is Creator and Executive Producer. Jordan Young is Executive Producer and Showrunner (Season One). Alex Rubens is Executive Producer and Showrunner (Seasons Two & Three).

All-new animated comedy Grimsburg stars Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Top Gun: Maverick), who also serves as an executive producer on the series. In Grimsburg, Marvin Flute (Hamm) is a brilliant detective with opinions as eccentric as his taste, who can’t help but prioritize his own personal problems — whether it be his family or petty differences among his co-workers — over the crimes he’s tasked with solving. Now that he’s back in Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret or three, Flute will follow every lead he’s got to redeem himself with the ex-wife he never stopped loving, even if it means hanging out with the son he never bothered to get to know. Grimsburg is owned by FOX Entertainment, and produced by Bento Box Entertainment. Catlan McClelland and Matthew Schlissel created the series and serve as co-Executive Producers. Gail Berman, Hend Baghdady, Chadd Gindin, Connie Tavel and Jon Hamm serve as Executive Producers. Chadd Gindin serves as Showrunner.

FOX’s new unscripted series include:

All-new game show Snake Oil is hosted and produced by Emmy and Golden Globe Award-nominated comedian David Spade (Saturday Night Live, Just Shoot Me) and executive-produced by Emmy nominee Will Arnett (LEGO Masters, Arrested Development), through his Electric Avenue Productions. In the show’s all-new original format, contestants are pitched unique products by convincing entrepreneurs – some of whom are showcasing real business ventures, while the others are “Snake Oil Salesmen,” whose products are fake. With the help of guest celebrity advisors, contestants must determine which products are real and which are a sham, for a chance to win life-changing money. In each round of Snake Oil, contestants choose a pair of entrepreneurs and learn about their extremely unique (and often bizarre) products through visuals, a custom-made infomercial exclusively produced for Snake Oil, and by quizzing the business representative themselves. cptfc With the help of their celebrity advisors, the contestants must then decide who is selling an authentic product and who is hawking a sham. Will they make the right choice or be duped by snake oil?! Snake Oil is produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment and Electric Avenue. Will Arnett, Marc Forman and Neal Konstantini serve as Executive Producers, and Konstantini serves as Showrunner. David Spade is a Producer.

We Are Family is an all-new music guessing game show hosted and executive-produced by Jamie Foxx and co-hosted by his daughter, Corinne Foxx. Showcasing non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member, We Are Family will feature a studio audience entirely comprised of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues and gameplay to win up to $100,000 each by correctly guessing which celebrity the performer is related to before they are revealed. Celebrities appearing on We Are Family will range from musicians and professional athletes to actors and beyond. The series is co-produced by Apploff Entertainment and FOX Alternative Entertainment, which created the program. Jeff Apploff, Jamie Foxx and Matilda Zoltowski are Executive Producers, and Zoltowski is Showrunner.

Additionally, LEGO Masters will air its second all-new multiple-night event LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular. Over the course of four crazy hours, LEGO Masters once again will shake it up like a snow globe, with unpredictable twists and surprises. Celebrities will join, as will fan-favorite builders from past seasons, all working together, to create jaw-dropping holiday-themed challenges that will make the contestants’ faces redder than Rudolph’s nose. Make sure you’re on host Will Arnett’s “Nice List,” because LEGO Masters is making all-new plans for the ho-ho-holidays. LEGO Masters is produced by Endemol Shine North America, Tuesday’s Child and Plan B Entertainment, under license from the LEGO Group. Executive Producers include Arnett, Pip Wells; Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre and Michael Heyerman from Endemol Shine North America; Karen Smith and Steph Harris from Tuesday’s Child; Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner from Plan B; and Jill Wilfert and Robert May from the LEGO Group.

Also, as previously announced, FOX heats up the summer with all-new seasons of Beat Shazam (May 23), Don’t Forget The Lyrics (May 23), Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars (May 24), MasterChef (May 24), and Crime Scene Kitchen (June 5), as well as the series launch of Stars on Mars (June 5). Additional summer programming to be announced.

FOX’s full 2023-2024 programming slate is – Dramas: 9-1-1: Lone Star, Accused, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, The Cleaning Lady, Doc and Rescue: HI-Surf; Comedies: Animal Control, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, The Great North, Grimsburg, Krapopolis and The Simpsons; Unscripted: Farmer Wants a Wife, Hell’s Kitchen, I Can See Your Voice, Kitchen Nightmares, LEGO Masters, LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular, The Masked Singer, Name That Tune, Next Level Chef, Snake Oil, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test and We Are Family.

The CW has canceled Kung Fu and The Winchesters. The cancellations come as the network shifts away from original programming to acquired series. Kung Fu aired for three seasons. The Winchesters was a spinoff of the long running series Supernatural and aired for one season.

Heels returns for season two on Starz July 28. The series is a story about the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small-town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals, Jack Spade and Ace Spade, are at war over their late father’s legacy while working to find their identity and their individual versions of success. “Heel” is a common wrestling term used to describe the antagonist or villain in the ring, however, the line between hero and heel is much less clear for this sibling rivalry outside of the ring. Season two begins after a spectacular showing at the South Georgia State Fair, and the Duffy Wrestling League’s popularity is suddenly on the upswing. Hoping to seize the opportunity, Jack and his cohorts prepare for a possible business deal with a new streaming service that may propel them onto a national stage. But the past and its tragedies threaten to upset everything when Ace leaves Duffy and the Dome in his rearview, meanwhile rival promotion Florida Wrestling Dystopia’s vengeful frontman Gully comes calling.

Fox has renewed Next Level Chef for two more seasons. The series is the next evolution in cooking competitions, as Ramsay has designed a one-of-a-kind culinary gauntlet, set on an iconic stage like you’ve never seen. Over three stories high, each floor contains a stunningly different kitchen. From the glistening top floor to the challenging bottom of the basement, the ingredients match the environment, because Ramsay believes the true test of great chefs is not only what they can do in the best of circumstances, but what kind of magic they can create in the worst! With a level playing field, Ramsay is joined by fellow mentor chefs Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, who once again will open the competition and scour the country for the very best line cooks, home chefs, social media stars and everything in between, so they all can compete against one another with the goal of finding the food world’s newest superstar!

The Great Food Truck Race returns for a new season titled The Great Food Truck Race: David vs. Goliath June 18 on Food Network. Hosted by Tyler Florence, nine teams from across the country with specialties ranging from Jamaican tacos to modern Pakistani street food to elevated vegan dishes must prove their culinary expertise, marketing savvy and selling skills in action-packed challenges to beat their rivals and stay in the race. Los Angeles has long led the food truck movement, and this season’s action takes place right in the center of the industry’s booming business. Kicking off with all nine teams showcasing a dish that defines their business, the race then hits the baseball field to serve Little League players and their families with a visit from LA Dodgers player Mookie Betts. Other challenges include using Chef Antonia Lofaso’s well-known restaurant dishes as inspiration for their own menus, creating social media content to draw crowds and cooking for guest judges Chef Jet Tila, Chef Joe Sasto and last season’s winner, Señoreata’s Evanice Holz. All the action culminates in a head-to-head finale where only one team is awarded a life-changing $50,000 grand prize.

The Walking Dead: Dead City premieres on AMC June 18. The Walking Dead spinoff series follows Maggie and Negan traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.

Season seven of Outlander premieres on Starz June 16. Season seven picks up from the harrowing events of the end of season six, with Jamie and Young Ian racing to rescue Claire before she’s tried and wrongfully convicted for the murder of Malva Christie. But their mission is complicated by the beginning of a geopolitical firestorm: The American Revolution has arrived. Jamie, Claire, and their family are caught in the violent birth pains of an emerging nation as armies march to war and British institutions crumble in the face of armed rebellion. The land the Frasers call home is changing – and they must change with it. In order to protect what they’ve built, the Frasers have to navigate the perils of the Revolutionary War. They learn that sometimes to defend what you love, you have to leave it behind. As the conflict draws them out of North Carolina and into the heart of this fight for independence, Jamie, Claire, Brianna, and Roger are faced with impossible decisions that have the potential to tear their family apart.

Season two of Foundation returns on Apple TV+ July 14. More than a century after the season one finale, tension mounts throughout the galaxy in season two. As the Cleons unravel, a vengeful queen plots to destroy Empire from within. Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalics with psionic abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself. The Foundation has entered its religious phase, promulgating the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach and inciting the Second Crisis: war with Empire. Former criminal prosecutor at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office Faith Jenkins breaks down all the gripping details of relationships gone deadly while highlighting the distressing warning signs that were overlooked. Some of the stories explored include a divorced woman whose quick foray back into the dating world to find love leads to her gruesome demise; a young woman whose brutal death at the hands of a loved one is only solved after a surprise appearance on national TV and an assist from a gaming device; and a vivacious single mother who is murdered in front of her two children after one of her many admirers just couldn’t let go.

Beyond Skinwalker Ranch premieres on The History Channel June 6.
