Weakest Link returns to NBC April 2. The games begin with a Days of our Lives special featuring cast members Lindsay Arnold, Bryan Dattilo, Galen Gering, Tina Huang, Victoria Konefal, Martha Madison, Eric Martsolf and Zach Tinker competing to earn money for charity. In each episode, eight contestants enter the studio as total strangers but must work together to bank the maximum amount of prize money available in each round. The contestants take turns answering general knowledge questions to build chains of correct answers. Consecutive correct answers greatly increase the value of the chain while incorrect answers break the chain and force the contestants to start over from the bottom of the money ladder. The top prize increases with each round but contestants must first vote to eliminate the fellow competitor they consider to be the “Weakest Link” in the chain. The contestant who receives the highest number of votes leaves the game as the host declares the iconic phrase, “You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye.”

The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy premieres February 23 on Prime Video. Tracee Ellis Ross, Bowen Yang, Abbi Jacobson, Jay Ellis, Andrew Dismukes, Lennon Parham, Gary Anthony Williams, and John Waters will make appearances in the animated series. The series follows Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak – aliens, best friends, and intergalactically renowned surgeons – as they tackle anxiety-eating parasites, illegal time loops, and deep-space STIs. In Season One, doctors Sleech and Klak take on a highly dangerous and potentially groundbreaking case and, in doing so, put existence itself in jeopardy. Although considering their dismal personal lives, oblivion might be an improvement.

Production on Star Trek: Section 31 has begun. Michelle Yeoh is set to reprise her fan-favorite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou – a character she played in Star Trek: Discovery‘s first season – who joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past. Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Robert Kazinsky, Humberly Gonzalez, and James Hiroyuki Liao have also been cast in the Paramount+ film.

NBC has ordered a multicamera comedy pilot starring Reba McEntire. Reba inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.

A+E Networks have formed a partnership with Rachael Ray and Intentional Content’s Free Food Studios. The new joint venture will produce and develop 278 episodes of new programming featuring Rachael and a new class of epicurean talent for A+E Networks’ Home.Made.Nation lifestyle programming block over the next two years. Initial series include Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes, where Rachael demonstrates her creativity and flare from her personal home kitchen, cooking a complete meal in minutes from comfort food to sophisticated fare for entertaining, and Rachael Ray’s Tuscany, where Rachael puts her own unique spin on dishes from her Italian villa in Tuscany.

When Life Gives You Tangerines is coming soon to Netflix. The series chronicles the adventures of Ae-sun, “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan-sik, whose nickname means “unyielding iron,” in Jeju Island, including Gwan-sik’s long-standing crush on Ae-sun since they were young. The series’ Korean title pays homage to the Jeju dialect, translating to “thank you for your hard work,” lending cultural authenticity to the narrative.

Disney Channel has canceled Secrets Of Sulphur Springs after three seasons. In the third season, a new ghost checks into room 205 and starts wreaking havoc around The Tremont. After learning the evil presence will ruin their lives by 2024, the kids race to solve a tangled mystery in the past that may hold the key to defeating the ghost in the present and saving the Dunns and the Campbells from a very bleak future.

Prime Video will air documentary I Am: Celine Dion. This intimate exploration takes viewers on a journey inside Celine’s past and present as she reveals her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) and the lengths she has gone to continue performing for her beloved and loyal fans. From visiting her couture touring wardrobe and personal effects to spending time in the recording studio, the documentary captures a global megastar’s never-before-seen private life. An emotional, energetic, and poetic love letter to music, I Am: Celine Dion captures more than a year of filming as the legendary singer navigates her journey toward living an open and authentic life amidst illness.

Aníkúlápó: Rise of the Spectre premieres March 1 on Netflix. In a race against time to avoid a dismal fate, traveler Saro returns to the Oyo Kingdom with orders to complete a nearly impossible task.

Action spy thriller Citadel will premiere on Prime Video April 28. Eight years ago, Citadel fell.
