The Four Seasons premieres on Netflix May 1. Six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Tina Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news. Over the course of a year, we follow the friends on four vacations, and watch how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic – sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface. It is a hilarious and heartfelt love letter to long marriages and old friendships, based on the 1981 feature film of the same name.

Season two of The Walking Dead: Dead City premieres May 4 on AMC. The series follows the popular Maggie and Negan characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. In season two, in the growing war for control of New York City, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.

Season two of Vanderpump Villa premieres April 24 on hulu. Following a successful run in the South of France, Vanderpump Villa debuts “Castello Rosato,” a breathtaking 12th-century castle set amidst an enchanting Italian backdrop. Renowned for her timeless elegance and flair, Lisa Vanderpump raises the bar with bespoke luxury and unforgettable celebrations. New and returning staff face soaring stakes, as one standout earns a $30,000 bonus. With fiery romances, rivalries, and surprises – including former employee Stassi Schroeder’s watchful eye – Vanderpump Villa promises another summer of pure decadence and drama.

Season two of America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation premieres April 1 on Prime Video with all ten episodes. Host Jeannie Mai and head judge, ATK’s Dan Souza, return to mentor and guide 11 aspiring cooks as they compete for the job of a lifetime. This season, the prize awards are bigger, the dishes are even more mouthwatering, and the contestants are hungrier than ever to make their culinary career dreams come true. From all walks of life, home cooks and pros alike are all in for the win! One cook will become the newest America’s Test Kitchen cast member, receive a cookbook option, and win $100,000 to support the pursuit of their culinary dreams. Season two presents an even greater focus on media challenges that will have cooks sweating it out in the spotlight, as well as new skill drills from Souza to help home cooks level up in the kitchen. This season we will also get a glimpse into the mindset and emotions of contestants in the stew room while they wait together for the judges to deliberate their fates. Also in an America’s Test Kitchen Next Gen first, the final five will take their first offsite adventure to the shores of Massachusetts to learn a new culinary skill set! This season will feature a rotating cast of new and returning ATK personalities, including Lan Lam, Julia Collin Davison, Jack Bishop, and even Antoinette Johnson, winner of America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation Season 1. Celebrity chef guest judges like Bryan Ford, Pati Jinich, and Joe Sasto also appear weekly – it’s a smorgasbord of culinary stars!

The final season of Big Mouth premieres on Netflix May 23. In the eighth and final season of Big Mouth, our beloved Bridgeton teens tackle new challenges as high schoolers such as: driving, drugs, sexual inexperience, enthusiastic consent, porn and the teenage mind, cancel culture, their changing bodies, and (in the end) fear of the looming future. Through it all, friendship is the cornerstone for surviving this time of life – whether one’s puberty is just beginning, like for Nick who gets his first growth spurt, or near its conclusion, like for a maturing (and prematurely balding) Andrew. At the height of the season, when many of our characters are in crisis, Compassion (personified as a new creature voiced by Holly Hunter), emerges as a crucial way forward. Ultimately, though, this season is about the importance of sticking by and supporting your friends, especially when life gets overwhelming and messy. In the end, our kids step into the harrowing unknown of the future, made less afraid of what’s to come because they have each other. Guest stars this season include Cynthia Erivo, Holly Hunter, Steve Buscemi, Kristen Wiig, Quinta Brunson, Nathan Fillion, Ali Wong, Richard Kind, Maria Bamford, Keke Palmer, David Thewlis, Thandiwe Newton, Natasha Lyonne, Aidy Bryant, Rosie Perez, Lena Waithe, Billy Porter, Stephanie Beatriz, Whitmer Thomas, Chelsea Peretti, Chloe Fineman, June Diane Raphael, Zach Woods, Craig Robinson, and Jack McBrayer. Series regulars this season are Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Ayo Edebiri, Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, Andrew Rannells, and Jordan Peele.

Season four of Harry Wild premieres May 5 on Acorn TV. Season four picks up a year after season three, and business couldn’t be better at the Wild/Reid Detective Agency as Harry and Fergus welcome an unexpected client: Charlie Wild. Elsewhere, Harry is hired by a friend and former wild child turned nun, Lola stumbles upon a dance school mystery, a Dublin literary tour takes a bloody turn and more. Meanwhile, Fergus’ hopes of going to college at the same time as Lola are threatened when she gets an incredible offer to study abroad.

Netflix announced a new competition series, The Golden Ticket, inspired by the beloved and unpredictable universe of Wonka. Lucky contestants will have the chance to enter Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, but there’s a catch – only players who find a coveted golden ticket will gain entry to the factory. But a golden ticket doesn’t guarantee a sweet ride once the gates open; only those who can adapt, strategize, and withstand the unknown will make it through. Set inside a retro-futuristic dreamscape, this high-stakes social experiment will challenge players not just physically, but mentally as they navigate games, tests, and temptations designed to probe their instincts, resilience, and ability to thrive in chaos.

LL Cool J is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of NCIS. He will reprise his role of Sam Hanna, which he played previously on NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawai’i.

Syndicated talk show Sherri has been renewed for a fourth season. The series, taped in front of a live audience, offers a daily dose of laughs.

Nine actors from the past two seasons of Elsbeth are confirmed to appear in the season two finale, May 8 on CBS. Stephen Moyer is reprising his season one role of theater director Alex Modarian. Retta is reprising her season one role of elite matchmaker Margo Clarke. Gina Gershon is reprising her season one role of plastic surgeon Dr. Vanessa Holmes. Elizabeth Lail is reprising her season one role of young tech CEO Quinn Powell. Arian Moayed is reprising his season one role of cocktail bar owner Joe Dillo. Mary-Louise Parker returns for another episode this season after her first appearance on April 3 as decluttering guru Freya Frostad. Ethan Slater returns for another episode this season after his first appearance on April 10 as chatty new hire Officer Reese Chandler.

Season two of A Thousand Blows is coming soon to hulu. The series is inspired by the true life stories of a group of characters battling for survival in the brutal East End of London in the 1880s. Hezekiah Moscow and Alec Munroe, best friends on the run from Jamaica, find themselves thrust into the criminal underbelly of London’s thriving bare-knuckle boxing scene. As Hezekiah finds fortune and fame through the art of pugilism, he attracts the attention of the infamous Queen of the Forty Elephants, Mary Carr, who sets about exploiting his talents to further her criminal enterprise. Meanwhile the menacing and self-declared emperor of the East End boxing world, Sugar Goodson, determines to destroy Hezekiah whose ambitions to fight in the West End threatens everything he has built. What ensues is a battle of the old world against the new.

The final episodes of Hollywood Squares season one will air May 2 and May 9 on CBS. The reimagined game show is hosted by Nate Burleson with Drew Barrymore starring as the famed center square. Celebrity guests take turns answering questions while contestants determine the legitimacy of their responses to score points and win exciting prizes.

Starz has picked up docuseries Magic City: An American Fantasy. The series uncovers the story behind the famed Atlanta strip club, Magic City, and its decades-long influence on hip-hop. It tells the full tale of the storied club’s rise to global prominence and how it became the definitive king-maker in the hip-hop community, catering to high-profile celebrities such as 2 Chainz, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, Quavo, Killer Mike, Big Boi and others, as well as artists, dancers, and behind-the-scenes players who ensured its iconic status. Taiwanese series Forget You Not premieres May 23 on Netflix. The heartwarming family drama explores the intertwining themes of kinship, friendship, and marriage, while inspiring viewers to face life’s regrets and impermanence boldly. Cheng Le-le is a stand-up comedian who also works part-time at a convenience store. Living a routine and mundane life, her dreams are kept at bay by unexpected challenges that keep coming her way. Le-le struggles with a troubled marriage to her husband, Zhang Kai, and faces difficulties with her father. Meanwhile, her two best friends lead seemingly successful lives – one is a career-driven independent woman, while the other enjoys a happy family life as a mother. Surrounded by these contrasting realities, Le-le feels lost and overwhelmed.

Sentai will be releasing seasons one and two together on blu-ray June 24. The set will feature the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and for the first time, an English dub.

And as the season progresses, the family must face a tragic loss with the death of their son Garrison. In moments of reflection and honor, family members come together to share cherished memories, visit places significant to their past, and commemorate his life.
