Netflix has renewed The Diplomat for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of the second season premiere, October 31. Production is currently underway, and will take place in London and New York City. Additional Season 3 details and additional information will be shared at a later time. In the upcoming second season, a deadly explosion in the heart of London shatters US Ambassador Kate Wyler’s world. Struggling to rebuild the lives that broke and the team that split apart, Kate’s worst fears unfold: The attack that brought her to the UK didn’t come from a rival nation, it came from inside the British government. As Kate chases the truth, her only real ally is her almost-ex-husband Hal Wyler, very much alive, and very much involved. She faces a fraught marriage, a complex dynamic with British Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison, and a threatening visit from Vice President Grace Penn.

Starz has canceled The Serpent Queen after two seasons. The series is based on the book “Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France” by Leonie Frieda. A spinoff series focusing on Queen Elizabeth I is in the works.

Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a second season. An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out – together – the unlikely pair, Joanne and Noah, can tell there is something between them. The new season will premiere in 2025.

Cerritos is tasked with closing “space potholes” – subspace rifts that are causing chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. Pothole duty would be easy for Junior Officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford … If they didn’t also have to deal with an Orion war, furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries and scariest of all: their own career aspirations. The upcoming season is a celebration of this underdog crew who are dangerously close to being promoted out of the lower decks and into strange new Starfleet roles.

Season two of Hellbound premieres October 25 on Netflix. As the chaos deepens, lawyer Min Hyejin, The New Truth and Arrowheads get entangled anew amid the sudden resurrections of the formerly condemned.

Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld premieres December 5 on Netflix. Slaying demons or slaying homecoming dance? Why not both?

When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the “Demon Realm”, a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them. This new episodic series celebrates the birth of the global Dragon Ball phenomenon— commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original manga created by Akira Toriyama that first launched in 1984 in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” and since then has sold an astounding 260 million copies worldwide and counting. The English dub of the series will premiere in theaters November 10, 11 and 12.

Season two of Deal or No Deal Island will return with Joe Manganiello as host and ultimate game master. Included in the crop of players for the new season are TV veterans Parvati Shallow, Dr. Will Kirby and David Genat. These familiar faces are no strangers to the high-stakes challenges and complex mind games they’ll face on the island. All three will bring their A-game, but have their work cut out for them among a cutthroat roster of fellow players.

Acorn TV has ordered Irish Blood to series. It follows hot-shot Los Angeles divorce lawyer, Fiona Sharpe, who receives a letter from her estranged father and sets out to uncover the mystery of his disappearance. Alicia Silverstone will star in the six episode series.

From starting a business to changing careers, getting in and out of debt, creating an unusual income stream, or casting it all aside to start over again, young people reveal the steps they took to make it happen. Featuring in depth interviews with survivors and victims’ families, many speaking for the first time, as well as rare archival footage, “Cold Case Files: The Grim Sleeper” explores the personal stories of the victims who were all but forgotten by the police, the media and the community at large.

Season three of Starstruck premieres on Max September 28 with all six episodes. Still living in London and working at the local cinema, Jessie explores a new single life after parting ways with film star Tom. Two years after the breakup, Jessie navigates the pressures of adulthood and is confronted with the consequences of her own choices as her friends move on to the next stages in their lives, while Jessie is left questioning what she is really looking for.

The Gold will premiere on Paramount+ September 17. The series is inspired by the real-life events that took place on November 26, 1983, when six armed men broke into the Brink’s-Mat security depot near London’s Heathrow Airport and inadvertently stumbled across gold bullion worth £26m. According to detectives, what started as a typical Old Kent Road armed robbery became a seminal event in British criminal history that’s remarkable not only for the scale of the theft – at the time the biggest in world history – but for its wider legacy. The disposal of the bullion caused the birth of large-scale international money laundering; provided the dirty money that helped fuel the London Docklands property boom; united blue- and white-collar criminals; and left controversy and murder in its wake.

Obliterated, from the creators of Cobra Kai will premiere on Netflix November 30. Starring Shelley Hennig and Nick Zano, the series tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. Barker hosted the game show for 35 years.

Netflix is set to follow the making of a global girl group in an upcoming music docuseries The Debut: Dream Academy. With unprecedented access to the years-long process, the series will be a compelling portrayal of the journey to global stardom, including insight into the unique training and development program from HYBE and Geffen Records. The 20 young women from diverse countries were selected after more than 120,000 submissions since HYBE and Geffen announced the joint venture, HYBE x Geffen Global Girl Group Audition, in November of 2021.

Miss Scarlet and The Duke and All Creatures Great and Small are set to return for their fourth seasons on PBS January 7. Outside of work, her relationship with William (the Duke) builds towards a looming decision that will shape both their lives. The new season of All Creatures Great and Small picks up in springtime of 1940 with change on the horizon for everyone in Skeldale House. James and Helen wonder when the right time might be to start a family, not knowing whether or not James will be called up to serve in the RAF. Tristan’s absence is felt by all, but no one more than Siegfried who attempts to hold the growing household, and himself, together as he braves this new world. Mrs Hall and Helen’s friendship blossoms as they look to the future and new trainee veterinary student Richard Carmody arrives, causing complications in the house.

Snake Oil premieres on Fox September 27. Hosted by David Spade, contestants are pitched unique products by convincing entrepreneurs – some of whom are showcasing real business ventures, while the others are “Snake Oil Salesmen,” whose products are fake. With the help of guest celebrity advisors, contestants must determine which products are real and which are a sham, for a chance to win life-changing money. In each round, contestants choose a pair of entrepreneurs and learn about their extremely unique (and often bizarre) products through visuals, a custom-made infomercial exclusively produced for Snake Oil, and by quizzing the business representative themselves. With the help of their celebrity advisors, the contestants must then decide who is selling an authentic product and who is hawking a sham. Will they make the right choice or be duped by snake oil?! Guest celebrity advisors include Will Arnett, Christie Brinkley, Kandi Burruss, Adam DeVine, Bethenny Frankel, Dwight Howard, Ice-T, Natasha Leggero, Brad Paisley, Jay Pharoah, Rob Riggle, Darius Rucker, JB Smoove, and Michelle Williams.
