Apple TV+ has renewed The Studio for a second season. Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him. 

Dept. Q premieres May 29 on Netflix. DCI Carl Morck is a brilliant cop but a terrible colleague. His razor-sharp sarcasm has made him no friends in Edinburgh police. After a shooting that leaves a young pc dead, and his partner paralysed, he finds himself exiled to the basement and the sole member of Department Q; a newly formed cold case unit. The department is a PR stunt, there to distract the public from the failures of an under-resourced, failing police force that is glad to see the back of him. But more by accident than design, Carl starts to build a gang of waifs and strays who have everything to prove. So, when the stone-cold trail of a prominent civil servant who disappeared several years ago starts to heat up, Carl is back doing what he does best – rattling cages and refusing to take no for an answer. 

Season seven of Love Island USA premieres June 3 on Peacock. Ariana Madix returns as host with fan favorite comedian Iain Stirling reprising his role as the iconic narrator. The season will introduce a brand new roster of singles, new additions to the vibrant Fiji villa, and the return of the infamous Casa Amor. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as Islanders face brand new couples’ challenges, jaw-dropping twists and turns, and even a few surprise guests. Once again, viewers will be able to vote for their favorite couples via the Love Island USA app to determine which Islanders will recouple, who will remain in the villa, and who goes home heartbroken. 

Apple TV+ has renewed Trying for season five. The new season finds Nikki and Jason dealing with the consequences of Princess and Tyler’s biological mother Kat turning up at their doorstep, and the whirlwind of chaos she brings into their settled family life. 

Constance Marie, David Strathairn, Gary Cole, Jason Mantzoukas, Jill Talley, Linda Park, Lisa Gilroy, Madison Hu, Max Greenfield, Michaela Conlin and Sam Huntington have been cast in the upcoming second season of A Man on The Inside. The cast join previously announced Mary Steenburgen. The new season will see Charles, played by Ted Danson, going undercover at a college. 

The fourth and final season of Acapulco premieres July 23 on Apple TV+. In the new season, present-day Máximo works tirelessly to restore Las Colinas to its former glory before the grand reopening. In 1986, when a competitor claims the number one spot in the annual ranking of Acapulco’s “Best Hotels,” young Máximo will do whatever it takes to get back on top and secure Las Colinas’s future. 

Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano will be leaving Law & Order: SVU. The NBC series has yet to be renewed for a 27th season, but it is likely to happen. Martinez joined the series this season while Pisano has been with the series since season 23. 

New seasons of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch and Beyond Skinwalker Ranch premiere June 3 on The History Channel. The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch kicks off with a bang as the investigation heightens and the team finds itself surrounded by a shocking phenomenon. Join ranch owner Brandon Fugal, principal investigator and chief scientist Erik Bard, aerospace engineer, astrophysicist, and lead scientist Dr. Travis Taylor, and the team as they continue to seek answers for what’s going on at this 512-acre Utah property. The new season of Beyond Skinwalker Ranch joins ex-CIA agent Andrew Bustamante and investigative journalist Paul Beban as they visit the notorious energy hotspot of Mt. Shasta in Northern California and discovering the outrageous lore surrounding the mountain is justified by hard data. Skinwalker Ranch isn’t the only location with strange things happening…

Miniseries The Final Problem, based on the bestselling novel of the same name by acclaimed Spanish author Arturo Pérez-Reverte, is coming soon to Netflix. In the spring of 1959, thirteen people were stuck by a violent storm on a small islet near Mallorca. Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends assembles Tony Hale, Vanessa Bayer and Talon Warburton to voice villains Ultron, Swarm and Absorbing Man. The series, which features young versions of Tony Stark (Iron Man), Riri Williams (Ironheart) and Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk), premieres this summer on Disney Jr. and Disney+ and is the first Iron Man preschool series. In order to help them save the day, the Iron Friends each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength. 

Brandy and Rita Ora will reprise their roles of Cinderella and the Queen of Hearts, respectively, in the fifth installment of the smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants franchise, officially titled Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. Also returning are Paolo Montalban as King Charming and Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother, making her the only actor to appear in all five Descendants films. The installment will premiere in 2026. 

TNT Sports has announced its full broadcast team for the inaugural NASCAR in-season challenge. The TNT broadcast booth will feature NASCAR icon Dale Earnhardt Jr., Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte and veteran motorsports commentator Adam Alexander. NASCAR Nation pre- and post-race shows on TNT will be hosted by Shannon Spake with analysts Jamie McMurray and Parker Kligerman. Pit reporters Marty Snider, Danielle Trotta and Alan Cavanna will contribute to full five-week slate with Mamba Smith to be the B/R Racing correspondent and on-air contributor. truTV’s weekly NASCAR In-Season Challenge altcast will feature Jeff Burton and Larry McReynolds.

Muir will be joined by ABC News Live Prime and World News Tonight Sunday anchor Linsey Davis, chief international correspondent James Longman, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, foreign correspondent Maggie Rulli, reporters Ines de La Cuetara and Patrick Revell, WABC-TV Eyewitness News anchor Joe Torres, WLS-TV Eyewitness News reporter Liz Nagy, and contributors Father Jim Martin, Father John Wauck and Helen Alvaré. Sarah Silverman: PostMortem premieres May 20 on Netflix. Following the recent death of both of her parents, comedian Sarah Silverman finds comedy in the darkest corners of life. She hilariously navigates the absurdities of death with her signature wit, from unexpectedly finding the “deal of a lifetime” while planning their funerals to cherishing the bittersweet experience of hearing her mother’s last words. The special was filmed at The Beacon Theater in NYC. 

Mystery thriller We Were Liars premieres June 18 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. Based on the novel by E. Lockhart, the series follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman and her tight-knit inner circle, nicknamed the Liars, during their summer escapades on her grandfather’s New England private island. The Sinclairs are American royalty – known for their good looks, old money, and enviable bond – but after a mysterious accident changes Cadence’s life forever, everyone, including her beloved Liars, seems to have something to hide. 

The English dub of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction premieres May 7 on HIDIVE. Okumura, the otaku president of his school’s manga club, has absolutely no interest in real girls and prefers the sexy fictional 2D manga character, Liliel. However, when the new school year begins, he discovers the club has a new member: Ririsa. She not only has a passion for cosplay but considers Liliel her favorite character. They quickly bond and when Ririsa convinces Okumura to be her photographer, the line between 2D and 3D blur. 

Acorn TV has officially launched its first annual Murder Mystery May, hosted by actress D’Arcy Carden. TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber? premieres May 14 on Fox. TMZ investigates Justin Bieber’s troubling behavior that has fans concerned. TMZ explores allegations of Bieber’s drug use, his marriage, financial collapse, as well as his ties to a controversial church. It examines a power struggle fueled by money, loyalty, religion and accusations of betrayal that are the center of a feud between Bieber and the person responsible for his meteoric rise – his former manager Scooter Braun. NBC Sports will use an AI-generated voice of former narrator Jim Fagan for elements of its NBA coverage and promotion when its new NBA media rights agreement begins in October. The voice of Fagan, who passed away in 2017, was synonymous with NBC Sports’ critically acclaimed coverage of the NBA from 1990-2002. His masterful narration drove unparalleled excitement for the league’s biggest matchups and stars. Through a partnership with Fagan’s family, NBC Sports will use AI voice synthesis technology to re-create Fagan’s voice for select title sequences, show opens, and promos for its upcoming NBA coverage.

The second and final season of The Sandman will premiere on Netflix in two parts. Volume 1 will premiere July 3 while Volume 2 will premiere July 24. Season two of Twisted Metal premieres July 31 on Peacock. Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly TWISTED METAL tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface. 

Season three of Ginny & Georgia premieres June 5 on Netflix. Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding – ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – Is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for? 

Season seven of The Chi will premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime May 16, before making its on-air debut May 18. This season, with Alicia at the helm, the pivotal women of The Chi rise to reclaim their power. Yet, as loyalties are tested and new rivalries are stoked, it becomes clear that there’s only one crown and it will come at a heavy cost. 

CBS has ordered America’s Culinary Cup. Padma Lakshmi will host the series for the 2025-2026 broadcast season. The new culinary showdown will feature an invitation-only cast of the nation’s most decorated chefs as they embark on a one-of-a-kind competition designed to challenge their creativity, endurance, presentation, leadership and more. 

Season four of Transplant will premiere May 22 on NBC with a two hour event. The new season finds Bashir “Bash” Hamed on the precipice of finishing his residency at York Memorial and officially requalifying as a doctor. With his future uncertain once again, Bash and his sister, Amira, are Canadian citizens now, but are still trying, with everything they have, to build a life in their adopted country. 

Netflix has renewed Temptation Island for a second season. Emotions run high when four couples, each at a crossroads in their relationship, head to Temptation Island to put their love to the ultimate test as they agree to live separately with a group of singles of the opposite sex. Will the choices they make push the couples closer together or farther apart into the arms of a new lover? 

Prime Video is developing a Pacific Rim TV series. The franchise currently consists of two films and an animated Netflix series. 

Peacock is developing a Clueless TV series. The followup series to the film will see Alicia Silverstone return. 

Season two of Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney+ March 2026. The first season finished airing this season and is currently in production on the second season. 

Peacock has ordered a new Love Island spinoff titled Love Island: Beyond the Villa. The new series, set to premiere in Summer 2025, follows everyone’s favorite Season 6 Islanders around Los Angeles as they navigate new careers, evolving friendships, newfound fame and complex relationships outside of the Love Island villa. The case will include JaNa Craig, Aaron Evans, Miguel Harichi, Leah Kateb, Kaylor Martin, Connor Newsum, Serena Page, Kenny Rodriguez, Olivia Walker and Kendall Washington, with appearances from other former Islanders. 

The new season of BMF premieres June 6 on Starz. In season four, Myles Truitt returns as “B-Mickie,” who was exiled for his perceived betrayal of Meech and Terry, and who is determined to win back the brothers’ trust. Also returning to the series is Grammy-nominated artist Saweetie, reprising her role as “Keeya,” a former college athlete who is now on the streets of St. Louis; and Sydney Mitchell as “LaWanda,” a beloved and integral part of the Flenory family, who raises Terry’s children. Roberto Sanchez also returns as “Loco,” Meech and Terry’s plug, who they’re on the run with in Mexico. Joining the cast in a recurring role is Jordan Alexander as “Purdy,” a rising music artist whom Meech and Terry sign to launch their first music label. Guest stars this season include Kofi Siriboe as “Sheik Mooney Bey,” leader of a religious organization in St. Louis, Tyler Lepley as “Demarcus,” a man who threatens Tee’s territory and Skai Jackson as “Ashleigh,” a new character who changes Meech’s future. Clifton Powell also joins the cast as “Pastor Coleman,” head of an Atlanta mega-church congregation; Rockmond Dunbar as “Cornell,” a man fighting for his son’s future, Aketra Sevillian as “Maria,” an alluring make-up artist who catches Meech’s eye, Karina Willis as “Aisha,” who’s welcomed into the Flenory family and Stacey Sargeant as “Cecilia” a waitress who complicates Charles’ dreams. 

Production on Emily in Paris season five is set to begin. Returning for the new season are Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie and Lucien Laviscount. Absent from the list is original star Camille Razat. 

Piper Perabo is set to appear on Grey’s Anatomy this season. Perabo will recur in the final three episodes as the mother of a sick child. 

Docuseries Not Her First Rodeo premieres May 22 on Freeform. Champion bull rider Jorden Halvorsen — joined by rookies and returning pros — begins a new season of her women’s bull-riding league, with each cowgirl hoping this will be their year to win the championship buckle.

Docuseries The Furry Detectives: Unmasking a Monster premieres July 17 on SundanceTV and Sundance Now. NBC has renewed St. Denis Medical for a second season. The series is a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity. It stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper and Kaliko Kauahi. 

Apple Cider Vinegar premieres February 6 on Netflix. Inspired by ‘The Woman Who Fooled the World’ by Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano, the limited series is a true-ish story based on a lie, about the rise and fall of a wellness empire, the culture that built it up and the people who tore it down. Set at the birth of Instagram, it follows two young women who set out to cure their life-threatening illnesses through health and wellness, influencing their global online communities along the way. All of which would be incredibly inspiring if it were all true.

Season two of UK series Love Island: All Stars will begin streaming on Peacock January 15. New episodes stream every day at 6pmPT/9pmET. Maya Jama will return as host of the second season. Featuring legendary U.K. Islanders returning to the villa for another shot at love. The first 12 islanders will include fan-favorites, Curtis Pritchard, Olivia Hawkins, Ronnie Vint, Catherine Agbaje, Scott Thomas, Gabby Allen, Luca Bish, Elma Pazar, Marcel Somerville, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed and India Reynolds. Celebrity Bear Hunt premieres February 5 on Netflix. Meet the 12 celebrities taking part in the ultimate game of cat and mouse with the legendary Bear Grylls. The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep premieres February 11 on Netflix. Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into all-out war.

A new episode of Hollywood Squares will air at a special time Sunday, January 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/ 7:00-8:00 PM, PT) following the AFC Divisional Playoff Game (Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills). The series premieres January 16 on CBS. Following its special Sunday, January 19 air date, it will air Thursday, January 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and then move to Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday, January 29 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), as part of CBS Game Night. 

Netflix has added three new One Piece cast members. Sophia Anne Caruso has been cast as Miss Goldenweek. Anton David Jeftha joins as K.M. Mark Penwill will play Chess.

Ms. Rachel will premiere on Netflix January 27 with four episodes. Additional episodes will premiere later this year. Waitress: The Musical will premiere February 14 on Max. Featuring the Broadway debut of Sara Bareilles in the lead role, the musical is based on a motion picture of the same name also available on the platform starting February 1, written by the late Adrienne Shelly and starring Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion. Featuring Sara Bareilles as Jenna Hunterson, a waitress and expert pie maker stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. When a baking contest in a nearby county offers her a chance at escape, Jenna fights to reclaim a long-forgotten part of herself. Two hour special Ringo & Friends at the Ryman will air on CBS this spring. Taping on January 14 and January 15 at the historic Ryman Auditorium – the “Mother Church of Country Music” – this once-in-a-lifetime event will feature exclusive performances of Ringo’s solo hits, Beatles classics and tracks from his recently released country album Look Up. Proceeds from a one-time, all-star performance at The Ryman of “With a Little Help from My Friends” will support the American Red Cross and those impacted by the California wildfires. An all-star lineup of some of music’s hottest names will join Ringo onstage, including Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Mickey Guyton, Emmylou Harris, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, The War And Treaty, Jack White and more. Together, they will reimagine some of music’s most iconic songs, such as “Boys,” “Act Naturally,” “With a Little Help from My Friends,” “Yellow Submarine,” “Don’t Pass Me By” and “It Don’t Come Easy,” blending classic rock with a country twist. Additional guest artists will be announced at a later date. 

The CW Network announced its broadcast team for the 2025 NASCAR XFINITY SERIES season. Veteran broadcaster Adam Alexander will serve as lead play-by-play announcer and will be joined by DAYTONA 500 Champion Jamie McMurray and NASCAR driver Parker Kligerman as race analysts. Dillon Welch and Kim Coon will serve as pit reporters, and Carla Gebhart will host the studio show NASCAR Countdown Live prior to every race. 

Will Buxton will handle play-by-play with James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell offering race analysis for the inaugural season of NTT INDYCAR SERIES coverage on FOX. Coverage begins with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 2, at noon ET. 

Jamal Crawford is joining NBC Sports as a lead game analyst when its coverage of the NBC begins in October 2025 across NBC and Peacock. Crawford is expected to work one or more games per week when NBC Sports’ NBA coverage begins in October 2025.

Romantic comedy series I am Married… But! premieres February 14 on Netflix. The series digs into the daily lives of couples in the chapter following their “happily ever after”. Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is coming soon to MGM+. The series follows the tale of nine strangers who find themselves lost in a remote Mexican jungle after their small plane traveling from Guatemala to the U.S. crashes. One by one, the survivors are murdered, leaving the remaining passengers to solve the terrifying mystery before they too fall victim to the killer. 

90 Day Fiance returns February 16 on TLC. The series captures the riveting journeys of intercultural couples – Americans and their foreign fiancés – as they navigate the thrilling complexities of love, cultural differences, and societal pressures. Netflix has renewed Supacell for a second season. When five ordinary South Londoners discover they have extraordinary powers, it’s down to one man to bring them together to save the woman he loves.

Peacock has renewed Love Island Games for a second season. The series, set to return in 2025, brings together cross-franchise fan-favorite Islanders from across the globe for a second shot at love as they compete to be crowned the champion. Romance will meet competition as Islanders are faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling and dramatic new arrivals. 

Hulu has ordered its Mid-Century Modern pilot to series. The multicamera comedy series stars Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham and Linda Lavin. The series follows three best friends – gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother and a naked Gen Z housekeeper.

Grotesquerie premieres on FX September 25. A series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. “Detective Lois Tryon” feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone – or something – is taunting her. At home, Lois grapples with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term hospital care and her own inner demons. With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of “Sister Megan,” a nun and journalist with the Catholic Guardian. Sister Megan, with her own difficult past, has seen the worst of humanity, yet she still believes in its capacity for good. Lois, on the other hand, fears the world is succumbing to evil. As Lois and Sister Megan string together clues, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers. 

A Very Royal Scandal premieres September 19 on Prime Video with all three episodes. One night. One hour. One interview that sent shockwaves around the globe. Based on the real-life 2019 interview between Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew over the scandalous accusations he faced regarding his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre. It follows the action of Maitlis and Prince Andrew in the lead-up to the interview, the ground-breaking event itself and the many questions left in its wake that would change their lives forever. 

Apple TV+ has ordered a new season of motorbike adventure series Long Way Up, starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. The new season follows Ewan and Charley as they ride lovingly refurbished vintage motorbikes from Ewan’s home in Scotland to Charley’s in England – but rather than take the shortest route, they go the long way! They head across the North Sea to Scandinavia, all the way up to the Arctic Circle and then down to the Baltics and through continental Europe, before eventually hopping back over the English Channel two months later. It’s an adventure that will take them to more than fifteen countries, through spectacular scenery and along some of the greatest driving roads in the world. Along the way they’ll immerse themselves in each country’s culture, meet the locals and try their hand at unique and eclectic activities. 

Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are set to return as judges for the upcoming 33rd season of Dancing with the Stars. They will join Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough who will return as cohosts. The celebrity participants will be announced with their partners at a later date. The new season premieres September 17 on ABC. 

Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles and Amy Hill have been cast in Prime Video’s Renée Ballard Bosch spinoff series. They join Maggie Q, Courtney Taylor and John Carroll Lynch as series regulars.

Season two of AMC+ and SundanceNow’s Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale will premiere in 2025. Adapted from the novel by V.V. James, season two picks up a year after the traumatic events of season one. Sarah Fenn and her daughter Harper are in hiding in Scotland, concealing Harper’s extraordinary powers, but a dark cloud is descending as recent anti-witch legislation has increased hate crimes. Penelope premieres on Netflix September 24. Feeling out of place in society, Penelope is drawn into the wilderness where she forms a new life for herself. 

Food Network, the premier Halloween destination, is ready for the holiday with a full slate of programming beginning in September, including three fan-favorite series, two specials, and themed episodes of the network’s popular daytime series. Returning primetime titles this year include Halloween Baking Championship (September 16), Halloween Wars (September 22) and Outrageous Pumpkins (September 29). Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef will air live September 2 on Netflix. World Record-Holder for eating 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, Joey Chestnut has been dominating the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest for the past eight years. A six-time Nathan’s Hot Dog champion, Takeru Kobayashi is no stranger to professional eating. He brought fame to the sport in 2001 when he won his first Hot Dog Eating Championship by eating double the amount of hot dogs the previous record holder ate, and continued to hold that title for many years. True crime docuseries The Tailor of Sin City premieres on SundanceTV September 12. The four-part series is a star-studded, sequin-filled, stranger-than-fiction story of how a gifted smalltown tailor, AJ Pratt, built a drug and fashion empire in the heart of Sin City. Set in the glitzy nightlife of Las Vegas in the 1970s, the series follows AJ as he catapulted himself into the role of the Cocaine King of Las Vegas with help from both the Mob and the infamous Pablo Escobar, until it all came crashing down. The Tailor of Sin City is the story of AJ Pratt’s rise and fall, told in his own words through archival first-person interviews and through those who knew AJ best, as they attempt to piece together what really happened on this wild, sometimes unbelievable, adventure that was almost lost to history.

The English dub of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian will premiere on Crunchyroll July 24 with the first two episodes. She ignores her nerdy classmate, Kuze Masachika, except for when she blurts out a flirtatious line to him in Russian. Little does she know, Kuze understands Russian, though he pretends not to. Let’s see where this wacky love story takes them!

Love Island USA will air a reunion special August 19 on Peacock. America has crowned the winners, splitting the coveted $100,000 cash prize. The two fan-favorite Islanders coupled up on the first day and despite setbacks and temptation, their bond grew stronger resulting in the ultimate love story. Hosted by Ariana Madix, the reunion special will feature this season’s winners, fan favorite couples and this season’s bombshells for an up close and personal look back at their experience in the villa. 

Maura Tierney has joined the cast of Law & Order. She will play a new lieutenant on the NBC series following the departure of Camryn Manheim. The series returns October 3.

Homicide: Life on the Street will begin streaming on Peacock August 19. The series examines the calculating and exacting detective work of the often confrontational, passionate, and opinionated homicide department in Baltimore. With a determined cast of characters that never let up in their quest for truth and justice, this gripping hourlong series remains the standard bearer of how police handle the job both professionally and personally. The series premiered on NBC in 1993 and ran for seven seasons, for a total of 122 episodes. It was succeeded by Homicide: The Movie in 2000, which served as the series finale. The series was created by Paul Attanasio and based on David Simon’s book “Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets.”

Chastity High premieres August 29 on Netflix. When an ultra-elite high school enforces a strict “No Romance” rule that expels anyone caught dating, a student secretly helps her classmates for cash.

Peacock has unveiled a sizzling new cast of Islanders for season 6 of Love Island USA. Hosted by Ariana Madix, the new season streams on Peacock beginning June 11 with new episodes dropping every day at 6pm PT/9pm ET during premiere week. New episodes will stream Thursdays through Tuesdays thereafter. Following the premiere of season 6, Peacock will debut Love Island Aftersun, a weekly chat series that dives into all the drama inside this season’s villa. Episodes will stream on Peacock beginning June 15 with new episodes every Saturday. Set in Fiji, season 6 will feature a brand-new vibrant villa including a spicy Casa Amor and an unforgettable Hideaway. Islanders will face more drama than ever before with jaw-dropping revelations, new couples’ challenges and even a few surprise guests. Along the way, viewers will be able to vote for their favorite couples via the Love Island USA app to determine which Islanders remain in the villa and who goes home heartbroken and empty-handed. Fan-favorite comedian Iain Stirling will reprise his role as the iconic narrator for the new season. 

That ’90s Show Part 2 premieres June 27 on Netflix.Part 3 is also coming soon to the streamer on October 24. Max has announced a new price increase on some plans. The monthly Ad-Free plan will increase by $1 per month, making the new price $16.99/month. The yearly Ad-Free plan will increase by $20 per year, making it $169.99/year. The monthly Ultimate Ad-Free plan will increase $1 per month, making the new price $20.99/month. The yearly Ultimate Ad-Free plan will increase by $10 per year, making it $209.99/year. These prices are effective immediately for new subscriptions. The Max With Ads plan remains unchanged at $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance of their plan renewing and see price increases starting from their next billing cycle on or after Thursday, July 4, 2024. Current yearly subscribers will not see an increase until renewal. 

Crime action series Like a Dragon: Yakuza adapted from the popular Japanese game franchise premieres October 25 on Prime Video. The live action series depicts the lives of fierce yet passionate gangsters and people living in a huge entertainment district, Kamurochō, a fictional district modeled after the violent Shinjuku ward’s Kabukichō, that acts as the backdrop of the gameplay. It showcases modern Japan and the dramatic stories of these intense characters, such as the legendary Kazuma Kiryu, that games in the past have not been able to explore. 

Rochelle Aytes will not be returning to S.W.A.T. as a series regular for its upcoming surprise eighth season. There is a chance she will recur. She will instead be a series regular in the upcoming new CBS series Watson. 

Netflix has ordered a Peaky Blinders movie. Star Cillian Murphy will return for the untitled followup film to the long running series. 

TLC has ordered a new reality series starring Alec Baldwin, his wife Hilaria and their seven children. The Baldwins will premiere in 2025. 

Hamish Linklater has joined the cast of Gen V. He will be a series regular in the upcoming second season of the Prime Video series which is a spinoff of The Boys.

In addition, Amanda Kloots and Jerry O’Connell will make a special appearance. Hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, airs live June 7 on CBS. 

Maria Taylor will serve as the Late Night host for NBCUniversal’s coverage of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris this summer. Taylor will host the Late Night show on NBC and Peacock from different venues and hot spots throughout Paris, capturing the vibe of the city and the competition while presenting a fresh look at the day’s most compelling stories. The Late Night show will begin following local news in all time zones. 

Julianne Hough and Utkarsh Ambudkar are set to host The Tony Awards: Act One airing on Pluto TV June 16. The live preshow will air before The 77th Annual Tony Awards and feature early awards. 

Nickelodeon revealed the nominees for its annual slime-filled Kids’ Choice Awards, with over 50 first-time nominees from across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more. Hosted by SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke), Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024 will premiere live from their undersea home of Bikini Bottom on July 13. First-time nominees include Halle Bailey, Austin Butler, Sabrina Carpenter, Kai Cenat, Timothée Chalamet, Luke Combs, Ariana DeBose, Ayo Edebiri, Ryan Gosling, Reneé Rapp, Margot Robbie, Paul Rudd, among others. Leading the pack with six nods is Taylor Swift, followed by Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo and Justin Timberlake, with four nominations each. Musical performances and presenters will be announced at a later date.

Gangs of Galicia premieres June 21 on Netflix. Inspired by real events, the series is a vengeance and love story between Ana, a lawyer who has recently arrived in Cambados in search of answers about the death of her father, and Daniel Padín, one of the heads of drug trafficking in Galicia. 

Docuseries Mastermind: To Think Like A Killer premieres July 11 on hulu. To stop serial killers, psychiatric nurse and professor Dr. Ann Burgess must first learn to think like one. With unprecedented access to the mastermind behind the development of modern serial-killer profiling, the series tells Burgess’ tenacious story and her compassion for victims which puts her at the center of solving America’s most infamous true-crime cases. From the widely known Ed Kemper and Ted Bundy to lesser-known cases like the Ski Mask Rapist, Burgess investigates and studies the victims and damaged psyches of their attackers, putting two halves of the same story together to catch a killer. Largely an unsung heroine until now, Dr. Burgess impacted not only the FBI, she also radically championed the plight of women in America.

Agents of Mystery premieres June 18 on Netflix. Six “agents of mystery” who have excellent chemistry must solve paranormal mysteries within six hours, relying on their quick-thinking and teamwork. A team of investigators are tasked with getting to the bottom of unsolvable cases occurring in mysterious locations.

TNT will air The 49th AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Nicole Kidman June 17 at 10. An encore will air on TCM June 27. A singular distinction bestowed upon artists “whose work has stood the test of time,” the AFI Life Achievement Award Tribute Gala is long considered one of the preeminent annual events for the entertainment and arts community. Nicole Kidman is the first Australian actor to receive the AFI Life Achievement Award. NBC has renewed Lopez vs Lopez for a third season. Family’s got your back. Now that Mayan and George Lopez are both living and working together, they’re closer than ever… for better or worse. Get ready for an all-new season of laughs, love and living life “The Lopez Way!”

The fourth and final season of Snowpiercer premieres on AMC and AMC+ July 21. Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1001 cars, that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the graphic novel series by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, and the film from Bong Joon Ho. The action-packed finale of season three left a split of the train with Melanie Cavill leading the Eternal Engine and those passengers who chose to stay aboard Snowpiercer for relative safety, and Andre Layton leading the others on Big Alice who chose to adventure to the unknown, outside world of New Eden. 

NBC has ordered comedy Happy’s Place to series. In the series Reba inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.

Production on season two of Netflix’s Wednesday has begun. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo have been promoted to series regulars. Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter and Noah Taylor will also join as new series regulars. Guest starring in the new season will be Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo.

My Adventures With Superman returns for season two on adult swim May 25. In the latest season, the three best friends face a host of new threats. Krypton is coming for our young heroes, and its arrival will test their strength, loyalty, and love like never before. 

NBC has canceled Extended Family after one season. After an amicable divorce, Jim and Julia decide to continue to raise their kids at the family home while taking turns on who gets to stay with them. Navigating the waters of divorce and child-sharing gets more complicated for Jim when the owner of his favorite sports team enters the picture and wins Julia’s heart. 

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will return to ABC in the 2024-2025 season. Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin will host the new iteration of the renovation series. Assisting them is a team of builders and contractors from homebuilder Taylor Morrison who will expertly reconfigure the home based on the family’s lifestyle and needs. 

NBC has renewed Deal or No Deal Island for a second season. The elusive Banker will invite a new crop of players to compete in the season-long, fully immersive competition. The new season transports 13 players to the elusive Banker’s private island, where he makes the rules and twists lie behind every palm tree. The iconic briefcases containing a total of more than $200 million in prize money are hidden around the island. In each episode, players compete in daring challenges to secure the briefcases that will be used in that night’s game of Deal or No Deal. The player who snags the highest-value case gains immunity and gets to choose a fellow player to enter “The Temple.” The chosen competitor must then play a high-intensity game of “Deal or No Deal.” If the player makes a bad deal and accepts an offer of a lesser value than what is in their chosen case, they are immediately eliminated. If the player makes a good deal and accepts an offer of a higher value than what is in their case, they gain the power to select whom to eliminate. The winnings from each game of “Deal or No Deal” are added to a group pot that grows exponentially throughout the season. At the end of the season, the last player standing faces the Banker to potentially win the biggest prize in “Deal or No Deal” history. However, the devious Banker is always watching and raising the stakes with tests of strategy and greed. Manganiello serves as the gaming liaison – an intermediary between the Banker and contestants – overseeing gameplay and helping navigate them through tough, life-changing decisions.

Michelle Yeoh will star in Blade Runner 2099. The Prime Video limited series is a followup to Blade Runner 2049. 

Food Network has renewed 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing for a second season. Hosted by Esther Choi and Michael Symon, the series features 24 talented and fearless chefs who take on 24 food challenges in 24 consecutive, non-stop hours. At the end of the 24 hours, the chef who cooked the best for the longest, and outlasted the competition, is the only one left standing. 

The Tony and Ziva NCIS spinoff has been given an official name. NCIS: Tony & Ziva will see Tony and Ziva on the run across Europe. After Ziva’s supposed death, Tony left the NCIS team to go raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris. Since then Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so that they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after. 

Chad has been canceled after two seasons. Originally developed at Fox, the first season aired on TBS and was pulled ahead of its second season. The Roku Channel saved the second season and aired it earlier this year. 

The English dub of Natsume’s Book of Friends season five premieres May 8 on Crunchyroll. Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him.

Eamonn Walker is exiting Chicago Fire after twelve seasons on NBC. His character Wallace Boden is expected to appear on a recurring basis in the future. 

Crunchyroll has added more One Piece English dub special episodes. Joining the streamer are 3D2Y, Episode of Sabo: The Three Brothers’ Bond, Adventure of Nebulandia, Heart of Gold, Episode of East Blue and Episode of Skypiea. 

Vice has set premiere dates for two new series. Hells Angels: Kingdom Come premieres May 29. The series chronicles the rise of the men waiting in the wings during legendary biker Sonny Barger’s reign, this series covers the sordid details of how the kingdom came to be and the war that is currently raging across Hells Angels territories. Who Killed WCW? premieres June 4. In the late ’90s, three years after achieving the unthinkable by becoming the biggest wrestling company in the world, WCW would self-destruct. Now, the accusations fly in a wild, probing, and star-studded investigation into the demise of Ted Turner’s WCW.

The Great American Recipe premieres June 17 on PBS. The upbeat cooking competition celebrates the multiculturalism that makes American food so vibrant and delicious. With a wide-ranging variety of cooking styles influenced by their varied backgrounds – from Alaskan to African, Chinese to Sicilian, Southern, German, Mexican and more, Season 3’s contestants represent the unique diversity of American home cooking. Hosted by Alejandra Ramos, the new season features two new judges and a new location. Tim Hollingsworth and Francis Lam join returning host Alejandra Ramos and judge Tiffany Derry in Nashville, Tennessee. Each week, after two challenges, the judges will determine which home cook has the winning dish and, in the final week, the top three will compete for a chance to win this year’s competition.

Hosted by entertainment icon Reba McEntire, Country Music’s Party of the Year returns exclusively on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on May 16. 

NBC will celebrate Red Nose Day’s first decade in the U.S. with Red Nose Day: Cheers to Ten Years, a one-hour special airing May 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The star-studded special will look back at the hilarious, inspirational and unforgettable moments of NBC’s Red NoseDay programming and the life-changing impact of the campaign’s first 10 years. The funniest skits from past Red Nose Days will be featured, including Coldplay’s Game of Thrones the Musical, basketball with Paul Rudd & Blake Griffin, Kate McKinnon’s SNL Weekend Update sketch and more. The special will also include stories that highlight the impact of donations to Red Nose Day and how they help children across the U.S. and around the world. A rebroadcast of the Red NoseDay episode of The Wall will follow the special at 9 p.m. 

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be joining its broadcast team when NASCAR returns to TNT Sports in 2025. He will also join the Prime Video broadcast booth when the streamer launches its exclusive NASCAR Cup Series coverage in 2025. 

Love Island USA returns for season six on Peacock June 11. Ariana Madix joins as host with Iain Stirling reprising his role as the iconic narrator for the new season. Set in Fiji, season six will feature a brand-new vibrant villa including a spicy Casa Amor and an unforgettable Hideaway. Islanders will face more drama than ever before with jaw-dropping revelations, brand new couples challenges and even a few surprise guests. Hotel Cocaine premieres June 16 on MGM+. The series is the story of Roman Compte, a Cuban exile and general manager of The Mutiny Hotel, the glamorous epicenter of the Miami cocaine scene of late ’70s and early ’80s. The Mutiny Hotel was Casablanca on cocaine. Businessmen, politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars, and musicians all frequented the hotel and its glitzy nightclub and restaurant. Season three of The Outlaws premieres May 31 on Prime Video. he series follows a group of strangers from different walks of life forced together to complete a community payback sentence in Bristol. Alone returns for season eleven June 13 on The History Channel. The English dub of Gods’ Games We Play will premiere on April 1 on Crunchyroll. In their (overabundance of) free time, the gods grew bored and decided to create challenging battles of wits to spice things up! Their opponent? Humanity! A select few players called “apostles” meet the gods on the spiritual realm’s playing field to beat the deities at their own games. A former god named Leoleshea has woken after sleeping for thousands of years, and her first demand is to meet “this era’s very best player!” She is introduced to Fay, an acclaimed rookie apostle. Together, they plan to challenge the gods and win the ultimate prize, but no one in human history has managed to clear ten games—because the gods can be capricious, outrageous, and sometimes downright incomprehensible! In the face of absurdity, what can the apostles do but enjoy the contest to its fullest?

Ariana Madix will host the upcoming sixth season of Love Island USA. The series features a group of sexy singles on a search for love in a beautiful villa. Throughout their stay in a tropical oasis, Islanders will couple up to face new heart-racing challenges and bigger twists and turns than ever before. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as new “bombshells” arrive, forcing Islanders to decide if they want to remain with their current partners or recouple with someone new. The new season will stream this summer on Peacock. 

Selena Gomez takes the next step in her culinary adventure as she heads out of her home kitchen and into the professional kitchens of some of LA’s hottest restaurants in Selena + Restaurant, premiering May 2 with double episodes at 7pm and 7:30pm ET/PT on Food Network. Gomez will be accompanied by best friend, Raquelle Stevens, as her cooking skills are put to the test by the best in the business. Over six episodes, chefs Shirley Chung, Keith Corbin, Stephanie Izard, Andrew & Michelle Muñoz, Wolfgang Puck and Marcel Vigneron will teach and test Selena to see how quickly she can learn the ropes with the ultimate goal of creating a dish good enough to make each restaurant’s menu. Each chef will also highlight a charity that is meaningful to them during each episode, with all of the featured non-profits receiving a donation to further their cause. 

Hulu has canceled Death And Other Details. The series which aired for one season centers on the brilliant and restless Imogene Scott, who finds herself in the wrong place/wrong time (okay, it was kinda her fault) and becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery. The setting? A lavishly restored Mediterranean ocean liner. Suspects? Every pampered guest and every exhausted crew member. The problem? To prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises – Rufus Cotesworth, the world’s greatest detective. 

The first batch of the final episodes of Craig of the Creek will begin airing June 1 on Cartoon Network. The sleepover themed episodes will air for four weeks. 

Hunter Clowdus will not be returning to All American. Clowdus recurred in the first three seasons before being upped to a series regular for seasons four and five. Season six premieres April 1 on The CW. 

Sting and Jerry Seinfeld made surprise appearances at the March 28 Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden, which was taped for the CBS special The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden. The special to celebrate Joel’s record-breaking 100th consecutive residency performance at Madison Square Garden will air April 14 on CBS. Sting performed hits with Billy Joel, including “Big Man on Mulberry Street” and “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Jerry Seinfeld joined Joel on stage to raise the historic banner commemorating his unprecedented run. 

Little Big Town + Sugarland will collaborate on an electrifying world-premiere performance at the 2024 CMT Music Awards, airing live from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center on April 7 (8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT), on CBS. The two country music pillars, with a combined 44 nominations, last shared the CMTMA stage 15 years ago, joined by Jake Owen for a rousing rendition of “Life in a Northern Town.”

The English dub of Re:Monster will premiere April 1 on Crunchyroll. After meeting an untimely death, Tomokui Kanata is reincarnated as a lowly goblin, but he’s worked up a monstrous appetite. Preschool musical series Disney Junior‘s Ariel, inspired by the live action movie, is coming this summer. It follows 8-year-old mermaid princess Ariel as she and her friends embark on fun-filled, action-packed underwater adventures throughout their Caribbean-inspired fairytale kingdom of Atlantica and beyond. The series features fan-favorite characters, including King Triton, Ursula, Sebastian and Flounder, as well as exciting new additions like Ariel’s two best friends, mer-children Lucia and Fernie, and lots of other adorable sea creatures. The series features the voices of Mykal-Michelle Harris, Taye Diggs and Amber Riley.
