Apple TV+ has renewed The Studio for a second season. Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him. 

Dept. Q premieres May 29 on Netflix. DCI Carl Morck is a brilliant cop but a terrible colleague. His razor-sharp sarcasm has made him no friends in Edinburgh police. After a shooting that leaves a young pc dead, and his partner paralysed, he finds himself exiled to the basement and the sole member of Department Q; a newly formed cold case unit. The department is a PR stunt, there to distract the public from the failures of an under-resourced, failing police force that is glad to see the back of him. But more by accident than design, Carl starts to build a gang of waifs and strays who have everything to prove. So, when the stone-cold trail of a prominent civil servant who disappeared several years ago starts to heat up, Carl is back doing what he does best – rattling cages and refusing to take no for an answer. 

Season seven of Love Island USA premieres June 3 on Peacock. Ariana Madix returns as host with fan favorite comedian Iain Stirling reprising his role as the iconic narrator. The season will introduce a brand new roster of singles, new additions to the vibrant Fiji villa, and the return of the infamous Casa Amor. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as Islanders face brand new couples’ challenges, jaw-dropping twists and turns, and even a few surprise guests. Once again, viewers will be able to vote for their favorite couples via the Love Island USA app to determine which Islanders will recouple, who will remain in the villa, and who goes home heartbroken. 

Apple TV+ has renewed Trying for season five. The new season finds Nikki and Jason dealing with the consequences of Princess and Tyler’s biological mother Kat turning up at their doorstep, and the whirlwind of chaos she brings into their settled family life. 

Constance Marie, David Strathairn, Gary Cole, Jason Mantzoukas, Jill Talley, Linda Park, Lisa Gilroy, Madison Hu, Max Greenfield, Michaela Conlin and Sam Huntington have been cast in the upcoming second season of A Man on The Inside. The cast join previously announced Mary Steenburgen. The new season will see Charles, played by Ted Danson, going undercover at a college. 

The fourth and final season of Acapulco premieres July 23 on Apple TV+. In the new season, present-day Máximo works tirelessly to restore Las Colinas to its former glory before the grand reopening. In 1986, when a competitor claims the number one spot in the annual ranking of Acapulco’s “Best Hotels,” young Máximo will do whatever it takes to get back on top and secure Las Colinas’s future. 

Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano will be leaving Law & Order: SVU. The NBC series has yet to be renewed for a 27th season, but it is likely to happen. Martinez joined the series this season while Pisano has been with the series since season 23. 

New seasons of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch and Beyond Skinwalker Ranch premiere June 3 on The History Channel. The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch kicks off with a bang as the investigation heightens and the team finds itself surrounded by a shocking phenomenon. Join ranch owner Brandon Fugal, principal investigator and chief scientist Erik Bard, aerospace engineer, astrophysicist, and lead scientist Dr. Travis Taylor, and the team as they continue to seek answers for what’s going on at this 512-acre Utah property. The new season of Beyond Skinwalker Ranch joins ex-CIA agent Andrew Bustamante and investigative journalist Paul Beban as they visit the notorious energy hotspot of Mt. Shasta in Northern California and discovering the outrageous lore surrounding the mountain is justified by hard data. Skinwalker Ranch isn’t the only location with strange things happening…

Miniseries The Final Problem, based on the bestselling novel of the same name by acclaimed Spanish author Arturo Pérez-Reverte, is coming soon to Netflix. In the spring of 1959, thirteen people were stuck by a violent storm on a small islet near Mallorca. Any of them could anticipate what is about to happen at the small hotel where they’re staying: Elisa Mander, a discreet British tourist, is found dead. What initially seems like a suicide soon raises unsettling signs – it may in fact be murder. Basil, a retired actor once famous for portraying none other than Sherlock Holmes on the big screen, finds himself unexpectedly tasked with unraveling the case. In a place no one can leave – and no one can reach – every guest and staff member becomes a suspect in a crime that grows more intricate and twisted by the minute. 

Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends assembles Tony Hale, Vanessa Bayer and Talon Warburton to voice villains Ultron, Swarm and Absorbing Man. The series, which features young versions of Tony Stark (Iron Man), Riri Williams (Ironheart) and Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk), premieres this summer on Disney Jr. and Disney+ and is the first Iron Man preschool series. In order to help them save the day, the Iron Friends each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength. 

Brandy and Rita Ora will reprise their roles of Cinderella and the Queen of Hearts, respectively, in the fifth installment of the smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants franchise, officially titled Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. Also returning are Paolo Montalban as King Charming and Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother, making her the only actor to appear in all five Descendants films. The installment will premiere in 2026. 

TNT Sports has announced its full broadcast team for the inaugural NASCAR in-season challenge. The TNT broadcast booth will feature NASCAR icon Dale Earnhardt Jr., Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte and veteran motorsports commentator Adam Alexander. NASCAR Nation pre- and post-race shows on TNT will be hosted by Shannon Spake with analysts Jamie McMurray and Parker Kligerman. Pit reporters Marty Snider, Danielle Trotta and Alan Cavanna will contribute to full five-week slate with Mamba Smith to be the B/R Racing correspondent and on-air contributor. truTV’s weekly NASCAR In-Season Challenge altcast will feature Jeff Burton and Larry McReynolds. 

ABC News announced today special, comprehensive coverage of the papal conclave and installation of the new pope led by World News Tonight anchor and managing editor David Muir from the Vatican beginning Wednesday, May 7, at 10 a.m. EDT. Muir will be joined by ABC News Live Prime and World News Tonight Sunday anchor Linsey Davis, chief international correspondent James Longman, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, foreign correspondent Maggie Rulli, reporters Ines de La Cuetara and Patrick Revell, WABC-TV Eyewitness News anchor Joe Torres, WLS-TV Eyewitness News reporter Liz Nagy, and contributors Father Jim Martin, Father John Wauck and Helen Alvaré. Sarah Silverman: PostMortem premieres May 20 on Netflix. Following the recent death of both of her parents, comedian Sarah Silverman finds comedy in the darkest corners of life. She hilariously navigates the absurdities of death with her signature wit, from unexpectedly finding the “deal of a lifetime” while planning their funerals to cherishing the bittersweet experience of hearing her mother’s last words. The special was filmed at The Beacon Theater in NYC. 

Mystery thriller We Were Liars premieres June 18 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. Based on the novel by E. Lockhart, the series follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman and her tight-knit inner circle, nicknamed the Liars, during their summer escapades on her grandfather’s New England private island. The Sinclairs are American royalty – known for their good looks, old money, and enviable bond – but after a mysterious accident changes Cadence’s life forever, everyone, including her beloved Liars, seems to have something to hide. 

The English dub of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction premieres May 7 on HIDIVE. Okumura, the otaku president of his school’s manga club, has absolutely no interest in real girls and prefers the sexy fictional 2D manga character, Liliel. However, when the new school year begins, he discovers the club has a new member: Ririsa. She not only has a passion for cosplay but considers Liliel her favorite character. They quickly bond and when Ririsa convinces Okumura to be her photographer, the line between 2D and 3D blur. 

Acorn TV has officially launched its first annual Murder Mystery May, hosted by actress D’Arcy Carden. The month-long event showcasing the best in international murder mysteries and crime dramas features a wide range of mystery content including all-new series, new episodes of long-running fan favorites and a slew of thriller and mystery films. Carden, brings her signature blend of sharp wit and theatrical flair as “Murder Mystery” Mae, the first-ever host on Acorn TV. TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber? premieres May 14 on Fox. TMZ investigates Justin Bieber’s troubling behavior that has fans concerned. TMZ explores allegations of Bieber’s drug use, his marriage, financial collapse, as well as his ties to a controversial church. It examines a power struggle fueled by money, loyalty, religion and accusations of betrayal that are the center of a feud between Bieber and the person responsible for his meteoric rise – his former manager Scooter Braun. NBC Sports will use an AI-generated voice of former narrator Jim Fagan for elements of its NBA coverage and promotion when its new NBA media rights agreement begins in October. The voice of Fagan, who passed away in 2017, was synonymous with NBC Sports’ critically acclaimed coverage of the NBA from 1990-2002. His masterful narration drove unparalleled excitement for the league’s biggest matchups and stars. Through a partnership with Fagan’s family, NBC Sports will use AI voice synthesis technology to re-create Fagan’s voice for select title sequences, show opens, and promos for its upcoming NBA coverage.

North of North premieres April 10 on Netflix. A young Inuk woman wants to build a new future for herself after a spontaneous – and extremely public – exit from her marriage. But it won’t be easy in a small Arctic town where everybody knows your business. The series was filmed in Iqaluit, Nunavut and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

Season four of BMF premieres June 6 on Starz. Season two of Call of the Night will premiere on HIDIVE this July. Daniel Radcliffe has joined the cast of NBC’s untitled Tracy Morgan comedy pilot. In the potential comedy series, a disgraced former football player is on a mission to rehabilitate his image.

Hall returns as Dexter Morgan with Uma Thurman as Charley, David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera, with James Remar as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan and Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater. Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter and Eric Stonestreet are also set to guest star as Lowell, Mia and Al, respectively. 

NBC has ordered a new comedy pilot titled Stumble. The potential mockumentary series follows the ridiculously high stakes competitive world of junior college cheer. 

Emily Browning, Lukas Gage and Drake Rodger have been cast in hulu’s Prison Break pilot. The new project would exist in the same universe as the original series, but not be connected to its story. 

Limited true crime series Bad Romance returns for a second season March 25 on ABC. Ryan Smith hosts the eight-episode series that delves into the harrowing stories of individuals who lost their lives at the hands of those who once vowed to love them forever and examines the devastating consequences of obsession and manipulation, exposing the dark side of love. The series reveals surprising and disturbing romance stories every Tuesday evening, featuring interviews with individuals involved in some of the most shocking, deadly and obsessive love stories and twisted obsessions. 

Nikki Glaser is set to return as host of the 83rd Annual Golden Globes. The first major awards show of the season will air January 2026 on CBS. This year, Glaser made history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo. 

Season three of Jane premieres April 18 on Apple TV+. Ava Louise Murchison stars as Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg, and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

Dance of Destiny: A Guide to Winning the Men’s Basketball Tournament will premiere March 18 on truTV. The hour-long documentary will delve into the thrilling and unpredictable men’s college basketball tournament – filled with buzzer beaters, Cinderellas and blue bloods – and how some of the best head coaches across the country are able to navigate the chaos of the survive-and-advance event, while inspiring their players through it all. The TNT Sports original special will feature interviews and insights from some of the biggest names in men’s college basketball including Naismith College Coaches of the Year Dan Hurley (2024), Bill Self (2012), and John Calipari (1996, 2008, 2015), AP Coaches of the Year Kelvin Sampson (1995, 2024) and Tom Izzo (1998), Nate Oats, Rick Pitino and Bruce Pearl – who have all led teams to the men’s college basketball national semifinals – and many others.

The CW Network will be the exclusive broadcast home of the 4th Annual Men’s HBCU All-Star Basketball Game. The elite college basketball showcase, featuring the nation’s most dynamic and talented men’s basketball players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), will air live on Sunday, April 6 (1:00-3:00pm ET) from the historic Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. The HBCU All-Star Game was created to honor the rich legacy of HBCUs and to celebrate the remarkable contributions of HBCU student-athletes and coaches in college basketball. Participating athletes will represent all four historically Black athletic conferences – the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, Southwestern Athletic Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association – in addition to student-athletes from Tennessee State University, Hampton University, and North Carolina A&T State University. The HBCU All-Star Game is designed to promote educational excellence, sportsmanship, and community empowerment. 

ESPN and the NBA have announced an update to its 2024-25 NBA regular-season schedule. On Wednesday, March 19, ESPN will televise the Detroit Pistons vs. Miami Heat game at 7:30 p.m. ET. It replaces the previously scheduled New Orleans Pelicans vs. Minnesota Timberwolves matchup. The Pistons vs. Heat game will precede the 10 p.m. matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets on ESPN. Both games are also available on the ESPN App.

Docuseries The Gen Zone will premiere March 13 on BET+. Host, Jhone Lucas, takes the “Gen Zone” team around the country documenting the race to the White House providing a Gen Z perspective on the Presidential campaigns of Kamala Harris/Tim Walz and Donald Trump/JD Vance. 

Docuseries Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing premieres April 9 on Netflix. Piper Rockelle is a massively popular YouTuber who rose to internet stardom staging elaborate pranks, competing in absurd challenges, and making soapy “crush content” with her Squad of carefully cast “friends.” Bad Influence goes behind the glitz and glamor to reveal Piper’s former Squad mates’ harrowing stories of exploitation, cult-like manipulation, and abuse at the hands of Piper’s momager, Tiffany Smith. Through their stories, this three-part documentary series exposes the dark realities of social media fame and the fight to protect the next generation of creators from exploitation. 

Love and relationship series #Somebody’s Son premieres April 12 on OWN. The series is derived from the popular hashtag (#SomebodysSon) that celebrates the search for Black love, bringing the online sensation to life on screen. It follows three charming, single and successful men as they embark on a high stakes search for true love, looking for a lasting partner amongst a group of exceptional single women. But there’s someone extra along for the ride — each of their mothers will be joining them on this adventure, offering guidance, support and a little drama as they help (or attempt to help) their sons find the one. Through competitive challenges, bonding activities and heartfelt moments, the moms play a pivotal and sometimes divisive role in determining if mother truly knows best when it comes to matters of the heart. Each bachelor will be introduced to four women, all with very high standards of their own. The ladies are eager to meet their potential match but will be shocked when they discover that the mothers will not only be guiding their sons through the entire experience, they’ll also be living under the same roof with their sons and the daters. And unlike many other dating shows, even after the men (and their moms) think they’ve found their perfect match doesn’t mean the deal is done. These single women are independent and successful on their own, and the men need to prove themselves worthy of a happily ever after with them.

Syfy has renewed The Ark for a third season. The series takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. In season two, after the brave crew of Ark One reaches their destination and finds it uninhabitable, they must survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that follow. 

The CW has set premiere dates for spring 2025. Sherlock & Daughter will premiere Wednesday, April 16. One hour special Remarkable Women will premiere Sunday, April 20. Season three of Sullivan’s Crossing returns Wednesday, May 7. The fourth and final season of Children Ruin Everything resumes Wednesday, June 18. 

Criminal Minds: Evolution has been renewed for a fourth/nineteenth season at Paramount+. The renewal comes ahead of its third/eighteenth season, premiering May 8. The new season picks up six months after prisoners attack the notorious Sicarius Killer, Elias Voit, leading his restless followers on the dark web to begin wreaking havoc all over the country. In order to stop this nefarious group from killing more innocents, the BAU is forced to work alongside an increasingly unpredictable Voit who has his own agenda. It stars Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford and RJ Hatanaka with Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster. 

FOREVER premieres on Netflix May 8. The series is a modern day reimagining of Judy Blume’s groundbreaking 1975 novel. It’s an epic love story of two Black teens exploring romance and their identities through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts, set in Los Angeles, 2018. 

Season two of Andor premieres on Disney+ April 22. The special look offers a glimpse at the making of Season 2 of the compelling series, in which the characters and their relationships will intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound. The series sets the clock back five years from the events of Rogue One to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny. 

Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney premieres March 12 at 10pm ET // 7pm PT on Netflix. John Mulaney conducts the first-ever celebrity sit-down talk show. Live every Wednesday . 

Season two of Am I Being Unreasonable? premieres on hulu March 12 with all episodes. The new season begins right where season 1 left off – mid panic attack. Has Nic gotten away with murder? Possibly. And has she raised her son Ollie to follow in her footsteps? That’s the worry. Kicked out of the family home, Nic is reduced to sharing a caravan with not-so-trustworthy best friend Jen. The 2025 BET Awards will air June 9 on BET. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, BET Awards continues its legacy of recognizing cultural brilliance in music, television, film, and more while delivering electrifying performances, powerful tributes and unforgettable moments. The star-studded event will air live, promising an evening of unmatched entertainment and celebration. 

Matthew Law and Y’lan Noel will star in Netflix’s Nemesis. The series tell the story of two men on either side of the law and what happens when an unstoppable force (an expert criminal) meets an immovable object (a brilliant police detective).

Storage Wars will return for a new season on A&E this summer. The new season brings even more bidding, buying and selling featuring fan-favorite characters, some of whom have been on the series since its inception. The ten episode season will also see its episodes grow to an hour. The series features teams of bidders on the hunt for valuable abandoned and repossessed storage units and with only a few minutes to see inside, they must decide whether they’ve spotted trash or true treasure that they can turn into big profits. The competition is fierce with the return of Brandi Passante, Kenny Crossley, Ivy Calvin and his sons, Lisa Delarios and Dusty Riach — as they attempt to outbid each other for the contents of the lockers. With Dan and Laura Dotson back to run the fast-paced, exhilarating auctions, who knows what will happen! 

Sam Worthington is set to star in Netflix’s upcoming limited series I Will Find You. The series is based on the book by Harlan Coben. An innocent father serving life for the murder of his own son receives evidence that his child may still be alive – and must break out of prison to find out the truth. 

Crunchyroll’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will premiere in theaters September 12. The film will release both in Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English. Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village. As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.

Eamonn Walker will return for an episode of Chicago Fire. He will appear in the episode airing April 16 on NBC. Walker departed the series last season. 

Fix My Frankenhouse returns for a new season April 2 on HGTV. During the fresh eight episodes, Boston-based home renovation experts and husband-wife team Mike and Denese Butler will fix these “Frankenstein” houses and create fresh floor plans that work for today’s families. After uncovering major issues caused by wonky layouts, misplaced staircases and maze-like hallways, Mike will employ his construction know-how to create a functional flow, while Denese will capture their clients’ style with custom finishes. By blending elements of the older homes’ charm with modern design, the couple will produce stunning, cohesive spaces for homeowners. 

WWE LFG will return for a second season on A&E this spring. WWE’s Greatest Moments will also return. Season two of WWE LFG raises the stakes as sixteen new WWE hopefuls battle for the ultimate prize: a coveted spot on NXT, WWE’s premier developmental brand showcasing the industry’s brightest rising stars. With even tougher challenges, grueling in-ring matches, and behind-the-scenes access, viewers will witness the rigorous journey required to make it in WWE. This season will once again feature world-class coaching from legendary WWE icons, offering unparalleled mentorship and insight into what it truly takes to earn a place in the squared circle. WWE’s Greatest Moments offers fans a chance to count down the most iconic events in WWE history. 

The 77th Emmy Awards will air live on CBS September 14. Nominations will be announced by the Television Academy on Tuesday, July 15, streaming live at 8:30 AM, PT on Emmys.com. The host and producers for this year’s telecast will be announced at a later date. 

The Grudge premieres March 26 on Vice TV. Four-part documentary event The Judd Family: Truth Be Told will air May 10 and 11 on Lifetime. Profiling one of the greatest country music families of our time, the doc examines Naomi Judd’s complicated bond with her daughters, Wynonna and Ashley, that both tied them together and drove them apart. Docuseries A Clean Sheet: Gabe Landeskog premieres March 9 on TNT and truTV. The five part series gives viewers unprecedented access to NHL star and team captain Gabe Landeskog pushing his mind and body to recover from a career-threatening injury. 

Lady Gaga is set to host Saturday Night Live March 8. She will pull double duty and also serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

Garnachas: Glorious Street Food! premieres April 2 on Netflix. A flavorful exploration of Mexico’s street food scene, where the humble garnacha takes center stage, sparks debates and unites fans with every bite.

#1 Happy Family USA premieres April 17 on Prime Video. The Hunting Party premieres February 3 on NBC. Puppy Bowl XXI will air February 9 on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max and discovery+. The annual three-hour television event will feature 142 rescue puppies from 80 shelters across 40 states – and two countries – as they compete in the cutest competition of the year. With more puppies than ever before, the special will highlight their inspiring journeys from birth to adoption, as well as the tremendous dedication of the rescues and shelters that help find animals their forever homes. 

Hosts and musical guests have been announced for the next two episodes of Saturday Night Live. Dave Chappelle will serve as host January 18 with musical guest GloRilla. Timothée Chalamet will do double duty as host and musical guest January 25. 

Due to severe weather, Crunchyroll has delayed the premieres of some English dubbed episodes. Anime series which will be delayed include BLUE LOCK, MF GHOST, Natsume’s Book of Friends, Arifureta, You are Ms. Servant, FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest, I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History, Shangri-La Frontier, The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL, Demon Lord 2099, and TRILLION GAME.  

Sailor Moon will be joining the main Toonami lineup starting January 25. The episodes will air at 3AM. The series previously aired on the recently ended Toonami Rewind block which aired on Fridays. Fellow Toonami Rewind series Dragon Ball Z Kai and Naruto also air in the late night block. 

Venu Sports will no longer be going forward. ESPN, FOX and Warner Bros. Discovery collectively decided the joint venture sports streaming service will no longer happen. 

Fox will air encore presentations of the series premiere of its new medical drama series Doc. An episode will air January 12 following the NFL Wild Card Game. The second episode will air January 13. The series follows the hard-charging, brilliant Chief of Internal Medicine Dr. Amy Larsen, who suffers a brain injury that erases the last eight years of her memory. The accident leaves her with no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push almost everyone away. But with the immense loss, comes a second chance to do things differently. The series is inspired by a true story and based on the hit eponymous Italian drama series. 

Three new series are heading to Viaplay in February. Moment of Fear premieres February 6. The docuseries examines dramatic events and talks to people who have each been exposed to a strong fear and survived. Who Shot Otto Mueller? premieres February 13. Otto Mueller, a celebrated businessman and ex-Soviet wrestler, meets a grisly end on his 65th birthday and all his family members become the prime suspects. With each of the eight episodes offering a different suspect, motive, and their own account of the night, the question of who killed Otto is just the beginning. The Case of Iwona Wieczorek premieres February 27. In the summer of 2010, 19-year-old Iwona Wieczorek disappeared on her way home from a party. She had just graduated from high school and was ready to spend the summer in Spain. The last footsteps of Iwona end just a few minutes from her home. Since then, the case has puzzled and intrigued the whole of Poland. Was it a kidnapping? Was it an escape? Or maybe a murder?

My Family premieres on Netflix February 19. A terminally ill father prepares his chaotic family to care for his two young kids and face life without him – but they must put old quarrels to rest. Sometimes the end is just a new beginning

Season six of Virgin River premieres December 19 on Netflix. Survival competition series Extracted premieres February 10 on Fox. Meanwhile, some miles away, their family members are locked down at a secluded headquarters watching them navigate their dangerous surroundings alone via a 24/7 live feed. The fate of each untrained contestant in the wilderness lies in the hands of their family members back in HQ. Each amateur survivalist’s family has the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to brave the elements and fight to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the ominous “Extract” button and remove their loved one and their whole family from the competition. It begs the question: how far will their loved ones let them go for a chance for their family to win $250,000? Tensions mount and strategic alliances are forged, as the opposing families negotiate and compete to send essential lifelines and resources to their competitors in the wild, to help them endure the harsh conditions they are faced with. Clash of the Cookbooks premieres December 6 on The Roku Channel. Join comedian Phoebe Robinson and cookbook author and culinary historian Max Miller as they put cookbook-obsessed chefs to the test with legendary cookbook-inspired challenges. Cookbooks are the cornerstone of how the average person has learned to cook for hundreds of years, testing the technical and creative skills of home cooks. In this competition, chefs from across the country take recipes from the page to the plate by cooking from history’s greatest and the world’s toughest cookbooks. 

Light Shop begins streaming on hulu December 4. The series follows six lost strangers who find themselves drawn to a mysterious shop that inexplicably holds the key to their past, present and future. With the help of their loved ones, will the strangers be able to escape the world between life and death, and return to their normal lives? 

Apple TV+ has ordered Lucky starring Anya Taylor-Joy. In the limited series, Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past. The series is based on the book of the same name. 

The English dub of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai will premiere on Crunchyroll December 3 with all episodes. Puberty syndrome – Abnormal experiences rumored on the internet to be caused by sensitivity and instability during adolescence. This year, Sakuta Azusagawa, a second-year student at a high school near Enoshima, meets several girls that are experiencing this “puberty syndrome.” For instance, he meets a wild bunny girl in the library. She turns out to be an actress on hiatus, Mai Sakurajima, who is also his senior at the school. For some reason, no one else can see this enchanting girl. How did she become invisible…?

The final episodes of Craig of the Creek begin airing on Cartoon Network January 4 at 9am. The new Totally Spies series will premiere immediately after at 9:30am.

NBC’s Saturday Night Live returns this week for the final three episodes of the year. December 7 will be hosted by Paul Mescal with Shaboozey as musical guest. Chris Rock will host December 17 with musical guest Gracie Abrams. The Christmas episode will be hosted by Martin Short with Hozier as musical guest.

Check in Hanyang premieres on Netflix December 21. The customer is king at Joseon’s largest inn where four interns from different walks of life share experiences and become friends in the romantic coming-of-age series.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will now premiere a day earlier, on December 2 with the first two episodes. The brand-new Star Wars story introduces a crew of murderous pirates in the era of the New Republic and six new characters – Jod (Jude Law), Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), KB (Kyriana Kratter), Neel (Robert Timothy Smith), and SM-33 (Nick Frost) – on a rollicking journey among the stars. New weekly episodes will premiere every Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. PT on December 10. 

Squid Game season two premieres December 26 on Netflix. Seong Gi-hun returns, locked in a tense battle with the shadowy Front Man. As new games unfold, the stakes grow deadlier, and Gi-hun’s mission to end the games once and for all takes center stage. Will he succeed, or will the system claim even more victims? 

Dexter: Original Sin premieres December 13 on Paramount+ with Showtime. It will make its on air debut December 15. Set in 1991 Miami, the series follows Dexter as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry, he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcement’s radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department. 

Soccer docuseries Pulisic will premiere December 9 on Paramount+. Episodes two and three will premiere in January with subsequent seasons airing later in 2025. The series provides unprecedented access to Pulisic’s life and growing celebrity in Italy as he competes in UEFA Champions League and Serie A competitions. Bravo has renewed Vanderpump Rules for season twelve which will feature new cast members. It will feature Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors. The series will celebrate the past decade of heartbreaks, friendship rifts and scandals with a retrospective special highlighting the past 11 seasons. 

The series finale of The Talk will air December 20 on CBS. Hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood welcoming an array of guests and big holiday giveaways December 16 through December 20. In December alone, the talk show will gift more than $2.5 million in giveaways to the show’s loyal audience. Over the show’s 15 season run, it will have aired 2,993 episodes, garnered over 70 awards/nominations, promoted over 10,800 guests, gifted over $103 million in giveaways, and welcomed over 250,000 audience members. 

HGTV has ordered Sin City Rehab where designer Alison Victoria will take on the bright lights and high stakes of the Las Vegas real estate scene. The series will document Alison, best known for Windy City Rehab, taking the biggest gamble of her career as she expands her successful design business out West. Throughout the series, Alison will bet on herself for lofty rewards, diving headfirst into multi-million-dollar client projects and risky flips all while building a team and reputation from the ground up in a flashy new market. The new series is slated for late 2025. 

Evolve and Flex will premiere on truTV and Max December 6. The series is a weekly look into the personal growth and fashion evolution of stars from the worlds of sports, culture and fashion hosted by sports-lifestyle expert Lance Fresh. It features candid conversations with guests to discuss how life’s events have contributed to their sense of style. Scheduled guests throughout the season include Dapper Dan, Fabolous, Dwyane Wade, Saint Jhn, Michael Strahan, Taylor Rooks, Sue Bird, and Brandon Marshall. 

Season four of NFL Icons premieres January 17 on MGM+. The series is a documentary biography series that delivers the stories of some of the biggest names in professional football history, showcasing not only their remarkable athleticism, but also the significant impact these icons had on the game and their communities. Each hour-long episode focuses on a single subject, whose career comes to life in his own words through a deep dive into the NFL Films library, original interviews and newly unearthed footage. In the upcoming fourth season, the docuseries will feature Pro Football Hall of Famers Joe Montana, DeMarcus Ware, Kurt Warner and Gale Sayers. It is narrated by Rich Eisen, who tells each legendary figure’s story through a combination of highlights, mic’d-up sound and never-before-seen archives. 

Swedish Cold War political satire Whiskey on the Rocks premieres January 22 on hulu with all six episodes. In the early hours of October 28, 1981, a Soviet nuclear Whiskey class submarine was spotted aground inside a restricted Swedish military area. The world teetered on the brink of disaster. With global superpowers on edge, the eyes of the world turned to Sweden’s calm and collected prime minister, Thorbjörn Fälldin, a former sheep farmer, who faced the immense challenge of keeping peace between Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev and U.S. President Ronald Reagan. 

Season two of Rogue Heroes will premiere on MGM+ in 2025. The series is a dramatized account of how the world’s greatest Special Forces unit, the SAS, was formed under extraordinary circumstances in the darkest days of World War Two. Based on Ben Macintyre’s best-selling book of the same name, the series centers on David Stirling, an eccentric young officer, who is hospitalized after a training exercise gone wrong. Season four of true crime series Wild Crime premieres December 5 on hulu. Season eleven of Married to Medicine premieres November 24 on Bravo. Returning this season are Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush Harris, Quad Webb, Phaedra Parks, Esq. and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford. Martin Short will recur in the upcoming second season of Fox’s Grimsburg. He will play Otis Volcanowitz, Grimsburg’s newest (and youngest) detective. Fortunately, there’s nothing the mean streets of this town can throw at him that’s scarier than what he’s seen in the third grade cubbies. Otis is out to prove that its his skills as a kid detective that got him this job, not because he’s a nepo baby whose wealthy parents happen to be the mayor’s biggest donors and the owners of the town’s wildly profitable active volcano dump.

Michelle Buteau returns for her second Netflix comedy special Michelle Buteau: A Buteau-ful Mind at Radio City Music Hall December 31. Buteau was the first female comic to record a special at the iconic Radio City Music Hall. Celebrate the New Year right as Buteau reflects on motherhood, marriage, and more. 

Mayim Bialik will appear in an upcoming episode of NBC’s Night Court. The role will reunite her with The Big Bang Theory co-star Melissa Rauch, and The John Larroquette Show co-star John Larroquette.

Above the Fold with Jemele Hill will premiere on truTV October 22. The weekly show, featuring acclaimed journalist Jemele Hill, will delve into important stories and topics centered on the connection between sports and culture. It will feature Hill and a rotating lineup of correspondents who will discuss and debate the latest news surrounding some of the biggest and most relevant sports stories of the week. 

Prime Video and Simple Plan announced an upcoming documentary chronicling the successful career of the multi-platinum-selling Canadian band, Simple Plan, as they tour the world in anticipation of their 25th anniversary. The untitled documentary is currently in production, and will premiere in 2025. It will chronicle the formation of Simple Plan in Montreal in the late 1990s, their rise to global stardom with hits like “Welcome to My Life,” “I’d Do Anything,” and “Perfect,” and their continued impact as one of the most successful punk rock bands that continues to sell out shows worldwide. The documentary will feature never-before-seen archival footage, along with new interviews with the band members and celebrated icons of the punk rock community including Mark Hoppus (Blink 182), Avril Lavigne, Dexter Holland & Noodles (The Offspring) and Fat Mike (NoFX). 

900 Days Without Anabel premieres November 22 on Netflix. The docuseries is a never-before-heard testimony about a case that became the longest kidnapping in the history of Spain: the abduction of the young woman Anabel Segura. During the 900 distressing days that Anabel’s kidnapping lasted, society was in suspense and took to the streets to ask for her release. Throughout those three years, nobody looked at the clock; the telephone controlled the passage of time. Between 1993 and 1995, fourteen phone calls occurred between the kidnappers and the negotiator representing the Segura family to release Anabel. Those conversations are coming to light in their entirety for the first time now, when thirty years have passed since the resolution of the case. 

Netflix has an early Christmas gift, but it won’t fit under the tree. On Dec. 25, 2024, the streamer will be the global home of the NFL’s two Christmas Day marquee games: The Super Bowl LVII-winning Kansas City Chiefs will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM ET; then at 4:30 PM ET, the Baltimore Ravens will take on the Houston Texans.

Season two of Arcane is coming this November on Netflix. It will be the final chapter in the animated series. Jinx’s attack on the Council sets the stage for a dire escalation of the conflict between Piltover and Zaun. The series is envisioned as the first of many stories to be told in Runeterra. 

Season two of The Serpent Queen premieres July 12 on Starz. In season two, Catherine de Medici is Queen Regent of France now that her son, Charles IX has come of age. Distracted by the personal conflicts of the Valois children, a new mysterious prophet named Edith gains a loyal following who vow to challenge the current religious establishment, sparking tension across the country. Feeling threatened by the rising strain, the divided court turn to their own schemes for selfish benefit. The Guises commit unholy acts while the Bourbons turn to a familiar foreign sovereign, Queen Elizabeth I of England in hopes of personal gain. As France falls into political and religious turmoil, Catherine struggles to maintain her power, but The Serpent Queen will do whatever she needs to regain control. 

Docuseries Homicide: Los Angeles premieres July 16 on Netflix. The series from Dick Wolf is a follow-up to the successful true-crime docuseries Homicide: New York, which premiered earlier this year. The series illuminates the stories of notorious murder cases as told by the people who know them best: the detectives and prosecutors who cracked them. 

The Boys will be ending with its recently ordered fifth season on Prime Video. Creator Eric Kripke envisioned the series ending with five seasons. Season four will premiere on the streamer June 13. 

CBS has renewed After Midnight for a second season. Inspired by Comedy Central’s @midnight, with celebrated comedian Taylor Tomlinson at the helm and a panel of guests from the worlds of entertainment, comedy, music and beyond, the series is a late-night comedy about what set the internet abuzz that day. 

AMC has ordered a third series in its expanding “Anne Rice Immortal Universe”, a drama slated for AMC and AMC+ focused on a secretive society called The Talamasca. With a working title of Anne Rice’s The Talamasca and slated for a 2025 premiere, the six episode series will feature the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, werewolves and other creatures scattered around the globe. Members of The Talamasca are introduced in Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, the two current series in AMC’s Immortal Universe franchise. 

Nate Burleson is set to host the upcoming new Hollywood Squares series. The celebrity-stacked game show, starring Drew Barrymore as the famed center square, will air Wednesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) starting in January on CBS. The series sees two contestants play tic-tac-toe to win money and prizes. The “board” for the game is a vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. The celebrities are asked questions and the contestants judge the legitimacy of their answers to win the game.

Paul Giamatti has joined the cast of Paramount+’s Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. He will recur as a villain in the first season. The series also stars Holly Hunter and introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself. 

Following the release of the soundtrack for Bridgerton Season 3: Part 1, acclaimed composer Kris Bowers returns with an additional line up of contemporary pop songs transformed into instrumental covers for Part 2, premiering June 13. From Ariana Grande’s “POV,” Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” and Demi Lovato’s “Confident” to Coldplay’s “Yellow,” Taylor Swifts’ “You Belong With Me” and Ellie Goulding’s “Lights,” part 2 of the soundtrack will continue to delight. The soundtrack for Part 2 will be released globally on June 13 from Capitol Records. The franchise’s first-ever original song, “All I Want” performed by Tori Kelly is written by Rogét Chahayed, Wesley Singerman, Taylor Dexter, and Nicole Cohen.

TNT Sports, has reached a groundbreaking 10-year agreement with the French Tennis Federation to add Roland-Garros to its portfolio of premium sports rights in the U.S. beginning in 2025. TNT Sports will exclusively present all live action from the Parisian Grand Slam in the U.S. including featured live matches on TNT, with additional live coverage across TBS and truTV. All live matches available on Max – nearly 900 matches across all competitions – including simulcasts of matches airing on TNT, TBS and truTV. 

Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams premieres June 14 on Netflix. The supernatural sci-fi series is about ordinary people encountering mysterious phenomena we have never seen before. Is this a sign of a threat attacking our world?

One South: Portrait of a Psych Unit premieres June 25 and 26 on HBO. A young woman is plagued by crippling anxiety after her GPA drops. A young man struggling with depression is recovering from an overdose. A first-generation college student repeatedly contemplates suicide. These are the stories of some of the patients on the “One South” unit of Northwell’s Zucker Hillside Hospital in Queens, New York. They are not alone. One in 10 young adults in the United States are diagnosed with a serious mental illness. Utilizing rare access, it demystifies the treatment process and offers a compassionate understanding of mental health issues young adults are facing today and how to help them. 

Season two of Savage Beauty premieres June 28 on Netflix. With the face of Bhengu Beauty on the run, the family wrestles over control of their empire as they each fight for their own future.

Sausage Party: Foodtopia premieres July 11 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. Based on the 2016 animated feature Sausage Party, the series follows Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy as they try to build their own food society. Original feature film cast members Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton will return. Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester are also set to lend their voices to the animated series, in addition to Will Forte, who will portray a human named Jack, and Sam Richardson, who will portray an orange named Julius. 

Season three of Kota Factory premieres June 20 on Netflix. Jeetu Bhaiya and the students are back for their biggest exam yet.

Disney has announced a lineup of new animated projects. Prep & Landing is back with a new special Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol set to premiere in 2025. When their holiday missions go awry, Wayne thinks he is in BIG trouble with Santa, which opens a vault of merry mishaps from the past. It’s going to be hard to dig their way out of the snowbank this time. Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Moon Girl’s Lab is a new musical S.T.E.M.-focused short-form series in which Moon Girl is dropping knowledge AND dropping bars as she uses the power of science to take down some serious baddies. Each of the eight shorts will feature a new song by Raphael Saadiq, and a science theme, including adaptations, states of matter, plants, force and motion, light, echolocation, and coding. The shorts will premiere June 28, on Disney Channel and Disney Channel YouTube. All eight shorts will be available on Disney+ the same day. SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures will premiere August 7, on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel and next day, Thursday, August 8, on Disney+ and Disney Jr. YouTube. Big City Greens has been renewed for a fifth season. Season two of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will premiere August 14 on Disney+ and Disney Jr. Disney Jr.’s Ariel premieres June 27 on Disney Jr. and June 28 on Disney+. Kindergarten: The Musical will premiere on Disney Jr. and Disney+ later this year. StuGo premieres this fall on Disney Channel and Disney+. Spooky comedy animated series The Doomies will stream soon on Disney+.
