Initially, Hollyoaks episodes premiere on Channel 4’s official streaming platform in the UK. The episode then airs on E4 for a television broadcast the following day, before being uploaded to YouTube for a global audience two weeks later.

Fans have been urging Lime Productions and Hollyoaks to make the show accessible to international viewers, and it seems their calls have been answered.

Hollyoaks has ushered in a new era under Executive Producers Hannah Cheers and Angelo Abela. This September, the show will undergo a significant transformation with a “time jump” similar to Days of Our Lives, advancing the storyline by one year. Additionally, the show will reduce its broadcast schedule from five days a week to three.

An after-credit trailer is set to feature on the Hollyoaks hourlong special airing Tuesday E4, which includes an exclusive first look at Rita Simons new character.

Tracksuit clad Marie will be sneaking into the Chester village this year after leaving prison, with her first order of business being to steal Mercedes’ red dress from the McQueen washing line.

The Channel 4 soap confirms that she is set to cause a stir, being the mother of established Hollyoaks character, Joel Dexter, played by Rory Douglas Speed.

Talking about her upcoming appearance, Rita said “Marie’s got a lot of ties here, so I think there’s going to be quite a lot of trouble between quite a few characters, and you will just have to keep watching to see…”

Relying on his family Sam talks to Lizzie and Ethan about the situation, and after some encouragement decides to open up about his past as well, only this time Sam isn’t completely honest about what he has to confess.

Donna-Marie’s gym’s grand opening is coming quickly and its up to the dream team of secret investor Grace, gal pal Leela and son Romeo to bring this dream into a reality. However, things go from bad to worse when an angry James gets involved and proposes to Norma that they can scare Donna-Marie into selling the gym at a low price be arranging a break in. But in an unexpected twist it isn’t Donna-Marie at the gym during the breakin and someone else has to pay the price for James’ betrayal.
